GIANT SHARK CAUGHT WITH MASSIVE BAIT! What started out as a night fishing with an old friend and his family turned into an epic fishing adventure that none of us will forget. We fought that fish for an hour before landing it and no one could believe what we reeled in. For those that are wondering the shark swam off safely and vigorously, there were things we couldve done better in the release but i think overall we did well and will be even better prepared next time. Also I cannot say enough about how the H-Flex Rod performed. It held up amazingly to that giant shark! Sailing. Yep this is king mackerel. I caught him yesterday and just kept him on ice. I dropped the king mackerel about even with the end of Panama city beach pier and then I dropped a bonita off on the second sandbar and that was it as far as shark baits. This was a special night not just because of the monstrous fish that we caught but because I got to experience it with my oldest friend on the fire department and his family.
