Hi guys, it's Alabama Barker here, and I'm back with another updated makeup tutorial.
I'm just making a small disclaimer, I don't have my nails done, and I bit the ruler off,
so please don't mind me.
So I'm just going to use this makeup brush, it's by Sonia Kajuk.
It's a brow pencil, and I'm just going to use this Patrick Taub palette and just fill
in my brows.
I very lightly fill in my brows, and I like to just keep it towards the end of the brow.
It just makes you have like a lot of a lighter look, rather than having such a harsh, dark
brow towards the front.
Actually, I'm just going to clip my hair back, just like this, so you guys can really see
my face.
Okay, I don't know how that looks, kind of ridiculous, but fine.
I hate it.
So yeah, I just like to fill in the very ends, and just give a lengthening effect.
Okay, the brows are done.
I like to use this Makeup Forever HD Skin palette.
It's all wet-based concealers, and I've used the heck out of it, so it's really...
I'm just going to go in with the lightest shade, and I'm just going to go ahead and
conceal under the brow, because I feel like when you use powder under your brows, they
become very, like, I don't know, messy looking, almost?
So you always have to go in with a concealer, and just cut it up.
Give them some love.
I like to go in with Snow by Born This Way, and just apply that onto the lid, and a little
bit in the front of the brow, to give the front of the brow a softer look.
I feel like when I put makeup, dark makeup, towards the front of my eye area, or even
my eyebrow, it gives me a very dark look, and I don't like it.
Just going to blend, and I like to go over the brow, the full brow, with just whatever
product is left on the Beauty Blender.
This is my travel-size mini Huda in Cherry Blossom, and I'm just going to set my eyes
with that.
I'm just going to put, because I'm just going to be so real, I just put stuff everywhere
on my makeup vanity at home, so.
This is a MAC brush, this is in 4143S, and I'm just going to set my eyelids with that
powder.
Commercial break.
Back to what we were doing, I'm just going to take this Patrick Todd brush, this is the
4 contour in the number 3.
I'm missing two of my favorite shades right here, just because she's my baby, and I really
use her, and I'm not just faking it.
I'm going to use this lighter brown shade right here, and mix it with the more cool
tone, and I just want to bring it out to give my eye more of a cat-eye effect.
So it just gives your eyes some depth, and I feel like it makes them look a little bit
more cat-eye-ish, and then I get the other end of the brush, and I'll go in with this
darker shade, very minimally, and just kind of extend the cat-eye effect, I don't know.
I'm just going to prime my face really quick because I forgot to, this is the MAC strobe
cream.
I feel like it definitely makes you photograph better, and makes you look a lot more, you
know, loved, is what I'm going to leave it at.
Now for eyeliner, which is going to be the trickiest part, because I feel like at home,
it's a lot easier to achieve it because I'm in my environment, but I'm still going to
try my best.
This is not the eyeliner I use all the time, but I do love it.
I like the Born This Way eyeliner, but this is the benefit one.
So you want to start?
This is dried out.
Found the other one, this is another benefit one, but this one's definitely one juicy.
So I just start at the front of my eyelid, and I follow my natural eye's ending, and
I just wing it out, and then I connect it, okay.
It's not the best, but for this circumstance, we're going to have to take it or leave it.
Same exact thing on this side.
Well I have a face tattoo, I have a teardrop, so I have some fruit punch here.
I'm just going to, we're just going to act like I never put fruit punch on my face.
But won't you look at that, you're going to see makeup remover, fruit punch.
This is the step that my powder becomes really crucial in, and I forgot my Fenty Beauty one,
so I will be using this to bake.
I normally use my Fenty Beauty in butter, which is on the way, I just don't know when
it will arrive, but I'm going to try and take this slow.
We have some components for when it comes to foundations, bronzers, that I love.
So you can never go wrong with Studio Fix Fluid, it has SPF in it, for one.
For two, I love Mario.
Sometimes it is a little heavy, but I do love her.
I tried this out recently, which is the Flawless Filter, and it just wasn't for me, but I do
feel like it could be pretty on a really light beat.
This is the LYS Bronzer, and this one's really neat because it has a lot of shimmer in the
product.
Now this is my top component right now, I feel like she's just winning in every area.
This is the Bronzer Stick shade that I use, but I have a foundation shade as well, and
I just feel like it's so seamless, and it's so pretty.
So if you want like an airbrushed look, this as foundation is.
Okay, so what we're going to do is, this is kind of crazy, but we're just going to like
put a couple dots around the face.
And I'm going to use that same brush that I used for powder to blend out my makeup.
This is that same MAC brush, and I just go in circular motions to achieve the highest
form of blending.
Now I like to go in with this P. Louise brush in 638.
The mission I went on to get P. Louise product, just because I live in the U.S., I felt like
it was kind of difficult, and it was just doing a lot, but I did it.
So I'm going in with that same Makeup Forever Contour Palette, and I'm just going to contour
my cheekbones.
You always want to apply contour on your higher cheekbones, because even a little higher than
your cheekbone, because it gives you a more lifted look, rather than a droopy face.
Nobody wants a droopy face.
We're going to go in with that same shade, Snell, because you want a light under eye
and a pretty dark base.
The light under eye will even out the darkness, but you always want a darker foundation.
That is just a trick to looking like a bad bitch.
Okay, well Bama forgot setting spray.
So right now, I would spray my face with the MAC Fix Plus, but that's just to let it dry.
You're just going to let the concealer dry a little bit.
In this very moment, I still don't have my Fenty Beauty powder, so I'm going to have to
bake with the Huda, which I also love.
I was using only Huda in Miami, so it's not like it's a crazy difference.
The only thing I will say is to get a really smooth base, I love the Fenty Beauty, but it
will be here eventually, and I will show you guys some tricks I use with it.
Start blending this concealer out.
I feel like the longer you let your concealer sit, the less it creases, because thicker
concealer, in my opinion, doesn't crease as bad, but everybody's skin is different.
My skin is definitely on the drier side.
If anything, I struggle with dryness more than oil.
If I sleep in my makeup, I do get oily, but that's kind of with everybody, except when
you have that Patrick Ta on you, the set all day is life-changing.
So the makeup setting spray that I use is the MAC Fix Plus, so I'll spray my face with
that very lightly, and then I'll go in with a spray of a Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless
Filter, and then I'll finish it off with the Patrick Ta Make It Last All Day, I think.
What is it called?
You know what I'm talking about.
The best setting spray in the game right now.
I get this angled brush, the Patrick Ta one that I use to pry around my eyelid, and you
want to contour your nose, but on the bridge of your nose.
Do not contour out here, it will make your nose appear a lot bigger than it actually
is, and you're just doing yourself dirty at that point.
You want to achieve that snatched nose, you need to just listen to me, and put it on the
bridge of your nose.
And then I get that same brush, whatever product is left, and just get my under nose to give
it a more buttony look.
Before I bake, I'll just lightly do two more taps under the eye for that really full coverage
effect.
You don't let this one sit too long, because it's just such a small amount, and it's really
just for the under eye.
We are going to bake with that Huda Cherry Blossom.
Looking up, you're just going to press it very gently into the skin, but use a little
bit of force at the same time, so you really get it into every crease and crevice.
A lot of elderly women feel like they can't use powder anymore, and I think it's about
finding the powder for you.
Everybody's skin is different, even at a young age, some powders make me look bordered.
Instead of pressing in the last round of powder you do, kind of just leave it there.
I like to carve out my cheeks, just like that.
These are my favorite eyelashes, they're the Balm Extension Eyelash Strip by By, they're
in Miami.
That's the style, and they're just bomb.
What I do is I get the eyelash, and I just cut a cluster off, and then I cut the front
extra string band off, so just like one cluster.
So my favorite lash glue at the moment is this Lily Eyelash Lash Adhesive.
It literally does not come off, you can literally cry and do whatever you need to do in it.
And you'll be fine, I promise you.
So you just want to apply a good amount to the band, don't overdo it, you'll have a sticky
eyebrow.
What we could be doing right now is getting that eyebrow brush that you used.
I use a lot of my makeup brushes for the same thing.
You're just going to put some of that light brown that you put on your lid on your lash
lower line.
But just follow your eyelash line, don't try not to get too much of your waterline.
You're not going for like a super crazy look, but enough that it's still being...
What the hell is that?
Now that we've applied that lash, I'm just going to let them sit for a second, and then
I like to retouch my eyeliner to give it a cleaner look.
Until then, we are going to be wiping off this powder.
You want to make sure you really get all that product off.
I'm going to be using this lip pencil in the shade Anywhere Caffeine.
I use so many different lip pencils.
I can't say I have a specific lip combo, but I love all of Kylie's new lip nudes, and I
also really love One Size for more pinky tones.
I really love any nude lip liner.
So what you want to do is make like a cupid's bow.
You have to look at that.
Good job.
Woo!
Thank you.
The Fenty Beauty Powder has arrived.
There are two shades that I love.
I've used this since I was literally 11 years old, and this is like a ride or die product
for me.
So the butter one is amazing, and I feel like it has a more yellow tone to it.
And the lavender is translucent, and it definitely gives you a brighter eye.
So it's kind of whatever you want.
I'm going to get a little bit of butter.
I'm like halfway through my lip combo.
And I'm just going to let it stay under my eye to achieve that.
A little on my chin, I guess, to achieve that really good smooth base.
So yeah, you want to bring it down to the sides of your lips and bring it up.
Then I like to like shade it in a little.
So, yep.
So instead of finishing my lip combo right away, I'm just going to let that sit for a second.
And I'm going to gel my eyebrows up to give that lifted look.
We're going to let that dry, and then I like to apply some nude eyeshadow over it to achieve
the look of a lighter brow.
I don't like super bold eyebrows.
This is one of my favorite lip liners.
This is the one size lip liner that I was saying is more of a pinky tone.
And I'm just going to go over that more nude color.
And then I have like this more orangey shade, and I'm just going to go over that as well.
So this is in Peach Amber, and then this one size one is in Prime Fish.
A little peach in there.
Okay, now for the lip combo, you're going to get a little concealer brush that you use
for concealer and grab that snow color.
And just apply some of that in the middle of the lip and also spread it with your fingers
so it's not so aggressive.
Okay, now we're going to wipe off that setting powder.
Make sure you just go over your cheeks, forehead.
We're going to wipe off that line.
This is one of my favorite bronzers.
This is the Too Faced in Chocolate, I think.
And I'm going in with that same P. Louise brush that I used earlier.
And I'm just warming up the face to achieve a more bronzed look.
And you want to go under your nose for that button effect.
A little bit on the side.
I like to go in with the powder puff after I bronze and just kind of whiten up the area right here.
Going back in with that same nice contour brush you used,
we're just going to use whatever excess product is on there to kind of enhance that nose contour.
You can also use it for what you did under your eye with that brow pencil to give yourself more of a smoky look.
I'm just using this shade right here.
It's a little bit purple and I feel like purple really brings out green eyes.
Then what you want to do for the eyes is make those eyelashes pop and blend your natural lash with the falsies.
Boom. We did that. Easy.
Then I like to take a dried out mascara.
This is the Mac Waterproof one.
It's not a dry mascara at all.
I just like a dried out mascara for my under eyes because it can get wicked doing your under eye mascara.
This is the RT402 setting brush.
I like to use it for eyebrows or any powder or any concealer.
I just go in with that light shade in the Patrick Ta palette.
I just go over my whole brow with that to give my brow a less bulged look.
You see how much more it lightens up my face?
I hope I didn't put too much. I can't really see.
We are going to go back in with that eyeliner and just clean it up and make sure it all looks nice and clean.
Go over that previous line.
See it just kind of gives your eye more of an open look.
My eye is literally watering from keeping it open.
Okay. Whoa.
Now that all of that is done, I actually just want to go over with that first nude liner that I used and just kind of revamp that lip liner.
We're going to get a highlighter palette that's seven years old.
It's not even on the market anymore, but it's an old Kylie palette.
So if you go to her website, you guys can just get any Kylie highlighter.
Highlighting your cheeks also gives like a really pretty glowing effect.
You just have to be careful with how you do it.
I like to smile and now you have like a glowy cheek.
I don't know.
Going back in with that small powder brush that we used on the brows, we're going to go in with this Kylie blush.
It's like a crazy pink.
It is in the shade Winter Kissed and I just like to tap it and just go directly under my eye.
Now a little bit like in this area.
I don't like to bring my blush up.
I really like to focus it under the eye to give that eye like kinky look.
Give that little cat eye with the excess powder.
Bringing out that inner corner really gives the effect that your eyes are a little bit more catty than they are.
Final step is going to be curling these lashes to give your eyes a more open look.
It's very quick and easy.
It also blends the lash together with your natural lash.
Now we have the MAC setting spray in the matte form or the glowy form.
So I'm going to do the glowy form.
You just want to really spray your face.
Now I don't have the set all day one by Patrick Star but I also don't have the Charlotte one.
But I have my babies right here and these are really good quality and I love them to death.
So this is the candy by I think Gwen Stefani.
I think she makes it.
I'm not completely sure.
Correct me if I'm wrong but this lip combo is for die- to die- for die-
To die for.
It's cream cup.
I actually like cream and nude better but a little cream cup and then candy as a lip gloss.
It gives you that perfect pinky nude lip.
One thing I will do really quick is just grab that powder puff and just go under my eye to really give that.
Look, I also like the Kim Chi Beauty setting powder.
If you want that brightening effect, literally use it. It's great.
We're going to take down my hair.
Whoa.
Calm it out. Pray to the gods of hair.
