my updated makeup routine

Hi guys, I'm back on YouTube. I feel really weird doing an intro because this is like my first real YouTube video in years, so there is no intro. We're just gonna get straight into the video. I just wanna start posting on YouTube again because I think it's fun and I wanna make videos for you guys on here as well. So today I'm going to be making a makeup routine video. I have a lot of you guys ask what makeup I use, what's my routine, all that stuff. So I'm going to be giving you guys a full makeup routine. I don't know if I would call this my everyday makeup because I don't wear makeup every day. So this is just my, if I'm gonna wear makeup, this is what it's gonna be. Here's my makeup bag. I actually got this for Christmas. I was gifted this from my boyfriend, which is very sweet, but I love this makeup bag. I've seen it all over my Pinterest and it fits all my makeup perfectly. I believe this is the smallest size that they carry in this bag, but it fits all my makeup perfect and I think it's the cutest makeup bag. So here is all of my makeup. It's very messy in here, but it does the job. So first thing I'm gonna do is put in these little clips for my hair just to keep my hair out of my face when I'm doing my makeup. Okay, now I'm going to start prepping my skin for the makeup. I did a little skincare before, but I have a few things that I always put on my skin before I put makeup on it. These are the two products I will be using for my skin prep. This is the Rode Glazing Milk and this is the Merit Instant Glow Serum. First, I have to take off my eye patches, which I also use before I do my makeup. Okay, now I'm gonna go in with the Rode Glazing Milk and I just do a few drops of that and just rub it all over my face. I love this product. I think it's so good. My skin is already looking good after that one step. Now that that is on, I'm going to go in with the Merit. And so I actually had my roommate give me this and I love it. I'm obsessed with it. I use it every day. Shake it up first and then I'll do one, one and a half pumps. Rub it in and then I just pat it on my face like this. It just makes my skin really glowy and hydrated and all that good stuff. Now time for the actual makeup. I don't know if you guys know, I actually am obsessed with makeup. I love doing my makeup. I just do it for fun. Doing this for you guys makes me really happy. And yeah, I just wanna show you guys what I do for my makeup. Okay, now that my skin is prepped, I'm gonna go in with the Revive Primer. I just got this recently and I'm obsessed with it. I think it's so good. It's also fun to put on. It squeezes out like that and you just rub it on your face like this. I usually don't use a primer, but I did cave and buy this and I now use it every time I do my makeup. I actually feel like it helps my makeup stick and stay all day. So if you haven't tried this primer, I would try it. Now that the primer's on, I'm just gonna let that dry for a second before I go into my next product. Also, I have no clue if I'm allowed to play music while I'm recording YouTube video. Is it gonna get taken down, copyrighted? I don't know, I should probably know this. But every time I get ready, I do play music. I can't get ready without music, so I think I'm just gonna have to play. The next product that I use are these Say Glow Drops. I have two shades of them. This one is Sun Glow, so this is the darker shade. And then I just recently bought the Warm Glow, which is their newer shade. These make my makeup look so glowy, which if you haven't already caught on, I do a glowy makeup look. That's just the vibe I go for. So we're gonna be using both of these products. I'll just go ahead and mix both of them together. Let's do that. And then we'll go in with the Sun Glow. Bruh, be so frual. It's on my arm, looks like doo-doo. Okay, I'm going to take my Refi brush, which I love this thing. Again, I got it when I got the primer. I got this brush when I got the primer, and I've been using them both literally every time I do my makeup. It just blends it out so well, and it makes my skin look so good. Next, I am going to use the Flawless Filter. I have just a little mini version of it. I don't wear foundation. I don't like how it looks on me. It also covers up my freckles, which I don't like. So this is super lightweight. I don't even think this is a foundation, but I just put a little bit of this on, especially if I'm going out somewhere. This is my fancy makeup. So I just do a super light base like that. And then same brush, I'm just going to blend it out. Okay, next I'm going to go in with my Rare Beauty Bronzer Stick. I just bought this thing, and I love it so much. It's so good. I got the shade on the horizon. So I'm just going to put a little bit on my forehead, and then I will put a little on my cheeks like that, and a little bit on my nose like that. And then I take my brush, which I have no idea where this is from at all, but I take this and I just blend it out. And I think it blends really good. And then I'll just go on my jawline like this and down my neck. And then I'm going to take a smaller brush like this, which I think is the eyeshadow brush, and then I'll just blend the nose contour. I also forgot, I'm supposed to do my eyebrows before that. So for eyebrows, Rare Beauty Eyebrow Glue. I've tried so many eyebrow glues. This is honestly my favorite one. I just brush them up like this. My eyebrows have literally been through so many different phases, it's insane. Over a year ago, I had the thickest, biggest eyebrows ever, and no one told me. No one told me, yeah. I definitely had eyebrow blindness and I had no idea. So this year I decided to thin them out a lot. And I personally love the look of thinner brows. I think it's just like 90s model, like chic, pretty. I don't know, I love how it looks. So I decided to thin mine out and then I let them grow out a little bit. And so now this is where we're at with my eyebrows and I honestly think it's the perfect shape and size for my face. So I'm basically just maintaining this shape from now on. And I don't get my eyebrows waxed or threaded. I just do them at home with tweezers. I've gotten my eyebrows laminated like once and I just don't think it looks good on me. I don't like the brush up, like fluffy eyebrows. I honestly just like the thinner, cleaner eyebrows. I think it looks good for me. So that's what I do. But that's it for the eyebrows. I don't draw them in. I think they're already pretty dark on their own. So I just leave them like that. Next, I'm gonna go in with the Benetint. Benetint, it's just called Benetint by Benefit. I use this all the time, especially when I'm going for like a more natural makeup look. I'll take my brush and just tap that in. I like that it's super lightweight. I feel like there's literally nothing on my face. Next thing I'm gonna do is use both of these products together. I saw this on TikTok and I actually haven't tried it yet, but I was like, I have both of the products. So I kinda wanna try it and see what it looks like. I'm gonna use the Rode Pocket Blush. This is in the shade Toasted Teddy, I believe. Yeah, this is the best shade in my opinion. It's like the perfect sunburnt tan look. I love it, I think it's so good. And then this is the Rare Beauty Highlighter in shade Enlighten. They just put the Rode blush like that. And then they put a dot of this on top. Oh, that might've been way too much. Okay, I might need to take some off. Okay, I think that's good. And I'm just gonna blend this out and I'm sure it's gonna look really good because it looked really good on TikTok. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, this is good. Holy crap, wait. Guys, this is blowing my mind. Why have I not done this before? I don't even know if you guys can tell on camera, but it looks so good. I'm gonna do a little bit of the Pocket Blush on my nose. And sometimes I put it on my forehead, just like a little bit to look a little more sunburnt. Okay, now that I put all my cream products on, I'm going to use this setting spray, which is the best setting spray ever. If you haven't tried this, just go get it, trust me. It's the One Size Until Dawn setting spray. And it literally stays forever. It feels like hairspray on your face. And I just do that so that all the liquid products like stay on my face before I put powder on. Okay, now I'm gonna go in with the Rare Beauty Powder Highlighter. This is in the shade Exhilarate, and it's like a golden-ish color. It's more of like a champagne gold, but it's super pretty, I'm obsessed with it. I will take this brush by Morphe. It's the Morphe M510 brush. And then I'll just, and then I'll take this tinier, more precise brush, and I will do the tip of my nose, like that. And right down the nose. I'll go right under my eyebrow like this, too. And then last, I will just go in on my inner corner, and then I'll just drag it on my eyelid a little bit. And sometimes I'll take a Q-tip and clean it up if it's too much. Sometimes, if I'm feeling fancy, I'll go in with a powder blush. This is from NARS. This is in the shade, it's in the shade, oh God. There you go, I'm not saying that. So I will just take, I usually don't do this, but if I just want a little more blush, I will just take it and put it right here. This also has shimmer in it, so it just looks really pretty and glowy. I just got a refill of the Hoola bronzer. Again, I've had this since high school. It's never failed me. This is in the shade Toasted, which I think is their darker bronzer. Honestly, I don't really use this ever because I feel like the cream bronzer is enough, but I'll just take a little bit right now and put it right here. Now I'm gonna use my Charlotte Tilbury powder. This is in shade Tan, oh, 3 Tan. This is in shade 3 Tan. I just recently bought one of these little puff things, and I actually love it. I'll just pat it like that. I'll put it a little bit on my chin and just places on my face that get kind of oily. I'll put a little bit on my forehead because my forehead does get oily. And then I'll just do a very small amount under my eyes. Like that. And then for my eyes, I have lash clusters on right now, so I'm not gonna do anything to my lashes. I also don't use bottom mascara. I feel like it drags my face down, so I just don't really use it. But I'll go in with the bronzer I used and I'll just put a little bit in my crease if I'm feeling fancy. And then sometimes I'll just do the tip of my nose with the bronzer like that. Okay, now that the face is done, I'm going to go back in with the setting spray and just spray it all over. Now, my favorite part of my routine is my lip combo. And a lot of you guys asked for my lip combo. I also have put a lot of my friends onto my lip combo, which I love. So, I'm going to show you guys what I've been using recently. My lip combo kind of changes all the time, but I'm just gonna show you what I've been doing right now. So, I use the lip stain. I got this, I think, off TikTok Shop. I'm gonna use a mirror for this so I can be more precise. I take the lip liner and I just line the outline of my lips like that, which looks crazy. And the bottom. Sometimes I take a Q-tip and clean up if I went a little too far. Then I'll also go in and do the outer corners as well. Just like that. I will leave this on for like five, 10 minutes maybe. Okay, I just took it off and this is what it looks like. I feel like it just gives my lips a really natural, pretty color. And I'm gonna go back in with the Benetton and put it on the center of my lips. And just tapping it. For the liner, I'm gonna use the Anastasia one in shade Deep Taupe. This is like a more nude brown color. I am gonna use my mirror to do this. And then I will barely overline just the top lip. And then I'll smudge it out with my finger. And that's it for the liner. For the lip gloss, I'm gonna use the Fenty Beauty. This is called the Gloss Bomb in shade Sweet Mouth. My roommate actually gave me this and I love it so much. It's so good. It's like a really pretty, light pink, shimmery color. So I'll just take this and put it on like that. And guys, I think that's it. I think we did my entire makeup routine. I can't think of anything else to add. Now I can take out these hair clips. And yeah, that's the makeup routine. I hope that you guys enjoyed and liked watching this video.
