One of the best looking fishing vessels in New Zealand!

Another local Jack Guard built vessel - Dorothy May!

She was built in the 50’s in Pukatea Bay. She spent many years with the well known Zame Family in Gisborne then she was bought back by the Guard Family where she fished for them until her new owner, Mike Trounsen, took her in about 2009.

She has been well recognised as having great lines and is a very good seaboat powered by her trusty 8L3B Gardner.

You may note her similar hull to the Davinci but with her wheelhouse aft.
