Everything's going to be fine. Everything's going to be fine. Everything's going to be fine.
It feels weird to say this, but I'm alone again. And it has been a long time since that has
happened. Sometimes I'll just get this feeling, and usually the remedy is to just hit the road.
So today I decided it's time for us to head south. So my hope is to find some answers and
spend a little bit more time on the road with you guys. By the way, if you're new here,
I'm Nikki Delventhal, and these are my rescue dogs, Camper and RV. And as you can probably
expect here, nothing went as planned. You guys, it is like zero, one degree Fahrenheit.
That's like negative 18 Celsius, I think. It is so cold out here. And I made a rookie move.
Last night, I realized that I did not open my gray tank, and I'm pretty sure there's 15 gallons of
water that is completely frozen right in here. So long story short, the only way for this to
thaw out, and for me to know if I have a major problem or if any pipes or anything have burst,
is to go somewhere warm. So we're going somewhere very warm.
All right. So it has been a pretty wild couple of months where I have had someone around me
24-7, and then now my family for the past week. So I'm not going to lie. I'm actually
a little bit nervous about going off alone again because I'm so used to having company so often.
So I put away my fresh laundry, a perk of being at a house. Took my possible very last hot,
unlimited water shower of the week. You never know how it's going to be out there. Loaded up
the rest of my stuff, said goodbye to my favorite people, and hyped ourself up to get on the road.
Uh-oh. Oh, come on. Come on. Oh. Oh, no. Oh, no. The car won't start. So I have a button
right here that actually jumps it through the house battery. So let's try that again. Come on.
Come on. I don't know what I'm supposed to do in this situation.
So the chances of it being the fuel gelling up I feel like is very low because my house
heating system is doing just fine and those lines are like
tiny. But I guess better safe than sorry. Oh, man. Of course this would happen.
It's not an adventure without a problem. Oh, God. I'm just hoping Mercedes won't have to come out.
I don't want to jinx it either. Okay, let's throw some more additive in here.
And then let's get the snow off because maybe that'll warm it up a little bit more. I have no
idea. Man, note to self, next time turn the car around facing the sun in the morning. Okay.
I don't know what to do. I mean, it's kind of humorous, you know? It's all part of the
adventure. I feel like everything that happens, it's all about your attitude towards it, right?
Always try to be positive and say, hey, we're just going to laugh it off.
You know what? I'm feeling lucky. Let's do this one more time.
Come on. Any car experts know what that is? My car won't start. Seriously? What do you think it is?
I don't know. Can we jump it? I tried. Oh, shoot. All right. Well, let's see what we can do.
All right. We're calling Mercedes. Smile. Nice. He'll be here in less than an hour. Love that.
I was going to say something pretty profound about being alone, but let's be real. I have
these two menaces over here. We got my happy camper boy with the zoomies, and we've got Rodney,
who likes to fake a limp on every single leg for attention. So I guess I'm not that alone.
Oh, he's here. Hang on. Hey there. Hey, how's it going? Good. Thanks for coming out. All right.
What do you need from me? We could pop this thing? I'm going to just pop the hood. Let's
get this thing hooked up. Let's get it. Oh, my God. I was like, well, it was negative last night.
So I was like, of course it's going to happen. But I did put fuel additive in,
so I don't think it's gelled up. So if anything, hopefully this works.
All right. You guys can kind of see there. Everyone's always so cool when they come out.
Last time I had to do this, I was in, I think, Southern California, and we were like
chatting for hours. If you need anything, just let me know. Oh, my God. I've been waiting for
this moment all year, and it finally makes sense. This man needs a hero.
Is there a chance I'll get stuck tomorrow if I drive somewhere for three hours that's just as
cold, or you think the battery will still be up and I'll be okay? Because I only left it two days
without it. How much colder? Same. Same. I think you should be good, realistically.
So we're just going to take our chances. So you take your chances. But definitely
keep it running and drive it for a few hours. Keep it running. Definitely keep
it running for a little while. I'm so nervous. So I just go for it? Just go for it. Oh, God.
No pressure. Here we go. Put on the brake. I'm going to press the button. Do I have my keys on me?
I do. Let it sit for a second longer. Come on, work. All right, let's see how it goes. Put on the brake.
Cool. That's cool. Okay, next step, we got to test the battery. I'm going to give you my contact
information, and then you're going to text me. So it's like just getting in contact to figure out
what time do I want to come up tomorrow morning. Oh, shit. So I'm stuck here another day? Yeah,
you're definitely gonna be down here for another day. It didn't work. All he had was a little
handheld jumper. Yeah. So I'm going to call them again. Welcome to the Mercedes-Benz Customer Care
Center. The guy who came out said he does not have the equipment to do the job that we need to do.
So I need someone who can, which is to test the battery, see if I need a replacement under
warranty, and to actually jump the vehicle. And equipment to test my battery. Test the battery.
Tester for the battery. If you're going to use the same service provider, just make sure that
they bring the right stuff. Round two. Let's go. It's that depth. Okay. That's what I was trying
to tell everybody. Gotcha. That I need a battery test. So in that case, you know, it might be more
than just a jumpstart service, unfortunately. So you guys don't have anything to test vehicles
to test the battery? No. No. Because we're a tow service. Oh, wow. That's even worse. Yeah. It's
not even going to work on a van. So is there anything that you could do for me? At this
moment, I do not think so. So, yeah. Sorry about that. Sorry you had to be the middleman here.
Thanks so much for coming out. Have a good one. This is ridiculous. He brought a box that he said
won't be able to jump. He can't jump it because apparently, liability-wise, they're not allowed
to use their vehicles or anything powerful. So he brought a box that he says won't even work
on the van. It only works for small cars. Oh my goodness. I'm never going to be able to leave.
Welcome to the Mercedes-Benz Customer Care Center. Calling again. You can visit us on the web.
Hi. Can I please schedule a tow for tomorrow morning? That's all. Any other questions?
That's all. Thank you. I look forward to that tow in the morning.
Well, I just don't understand why I keep getting random phone calls.
I feel like this is a really good time to tell you guys about data brokers. Now, in case you don't
know what data brokers are, they are corporations that collect a huge amount of personally identifiable
information. Now, they get this from things like public records, forms, social media, and probably
all these transactions I've been having today. And having your information out there exposed
and easy to find puts you at risk for targeted harassment. So the question is, what can you do?
Thankfully, there's help like Delete.me, who's also the sponsor of this video. But they do the
work for you, making sure your information does not get into the wrong hands. Delete.me goes in
and actively monitors websites, making sure your information stays removed. And the best part is
that they send you regular reports to show their progress. A huge thank you to Delete.me for

All right, on that note, back on the adventure of trying to fix this baby. Okay, just with our
track record today and not having massive trust in third party people, we are going to try one
more thing to try to avoid meeting each other in the morning. Let's go. We got dad on the phone.
Yes, what you're seeing right now is real, but we're gonna that's for another day,
maybe a few months down the road. For now, we got ourselves a battery so we can charge
out there. Ready? So let's do this thing. Don't let the dog out. Yeah. Okay, here we go. We are
gonna take our extension cord and I don't know, maybe this will work. All right. Here we go.
It's so cold. Okay, one. I don't trust this. And then we can close the hood. Okay.
It's always a Delvin Thal adventure. Thank you for being out here in the freezing cold.
It's gonna be negative tonight again. Like what is this?
Okay, now how far does it? I'm gonna let this lightly. Wait, push that part. Okay. Okay. Oh,
cool. Cool. I got it. Please, Lord. It's charging. We might not need a toe in the morning.
We are so smart. I'm so smart. The fact that these other guys couldn't figure this out.
This is so annoying. I don't know. It might be a total bust, but
might also work and that would be really cool. So, yeah. Love you guys. And yeah, even though
my mother insists we sleep inside, we decided to sleep in the van because the doors don't
lock and that just makes me really nervous. So see you in the morning. Good morning, everyone.
So, we've had this baby on the charger for about 12 hours now and it's still not fully
charged, which is a bit concerning because we are trying to avoid getting a toe this morning
because, well, I've had friends who had issues with their cars after they got a toe and Murphy's
Law isn't usually on my side. But also there's a whole like smorgasbord of things pertaining to
the dogs and the stuff. We'll talk about that in a minute. But for now, let's take these babies off
and see if we can get this thing to start. Oh god, I'm so nervous. Let's see if this does
anything. Wow, none of the lights are on. This isn't gonna work, but let's see. Okay.
Yep, completely dead. That sucks. It's a bad battery, I bet. So, okay.
Hi, is this Lily? Hey, Lily. Bad news. We're gonna need you. It's party time. Hey there.
Good. Yeah, it's a big boy. It's a big one. I thought it was under seven feet.
Who? What? Yeah. That's so weird. Anyways, yeah. Well, it's not. Is that a problem?
I think I'll get it. If they need to get a different toe or a different bed. But yeah,
I definitely specified high roof. Really? Yeah. So, it's a lot heavier than you would expect
to because it's completely loaded. Oh, see, that's what I thought. Yeah. Because I have a max of 10.
They sent the wrong truck. Everything's gonna be fine. Everything's gonna be fine. Everything's
gonna be fine. Hey, you want to hear something funny? They sent the wrong truck. It doesn't
have the capacity for the weight because they told them it was a low roof and that I don't live in it.
You heard me clarify that it was high roof and that it was over 10,000 pounds.
I'm gonna tell Randy. Leave me a message and I'll give you a call back. Thank you. Please leave your
message after the tone. Hey, Randy. Randy has been the only helpful person in this journey.
You're the best. So, bad news. They sent the wrong tow truck. So, I'm not on my way. I'm like,
oh, this has been so frustrating. So, I'm hoping for a heavy-duty tow truck. If you want to give
me a call back, I can maybe update you in real time. Hopefully, I'll see you soon. I'm trying
to get a heavy-duty tow out now. I am not happy with Mercedes. Like, this is insane. Their roadside
assistance cannot mess up three times in a row. Imagine if I was on the side of the road. I would
be stuck 48 hours now. Okay, I guess we've got another 30 to 60 minutes for the next tow. Yeah,
I'm gonna leave that when I see it. That means two o'clock this afternoon. You're stuck with me.
I guess I did want more family time. Yeah. How's it going? Nice to meet you. Oh my god. Thank you
so much. Ready to get the party started? Yeah, let's do this thing. It is fully loaded, so if
you need me to do anything, just let me know. Tim to save the day. Although, you guys, I'm still
really nervous. Oh god, it's so scary. Here it goes. Can you tell this is my first tow? Yeah.
Most people's first tow, which is usually a good thing. It has no, like, electrical power at this
point, right? A little bit. A little bit? Like, it'll go in neutral? You might be able to. I also
think there's a way to put it in neutral without it, with it being completely dead. If it doesn't
go in neutral, I have my ways. Yeah, I was, I was YouTubing last night to see how to do it. How to
get them in neutral. Yeah. They're a little finicky. It's still easier than a BMW, though.
No, don't worry about it. The tow guy is here, and so he has the two front wheels up, but the
battery's completely dead, so it's kind of, we're trying to figure it out, I guess. He's, he's doing
something, but is that okay? Yeah, a lot of times, uh, they have to drop that, uh, drive axle. There's
four bolts, and then he'll be able to, you know, basically get it in neutral. Okay, so, so it's,
it won't be a problem. I was reading so many things that it was, like, terrible to do.
We do it all, with the tow truck companies, do it all the time. All right, to-go bag.
It's moving, it's so scary.
All right, here we go. Wow, look at that sexy underneath. I did some cool stuff to this rig.
Look at that cool van. I'm coming. All right, Tim and Nikki adventures, here we go.
What do you say we just get over there? One, two,
here we are. All right, we're dropping it. We got Randy over here helping us out.
I'm just so excited. Hopefully, it doesn't take too long.
Bye. Thank you. Nice.
The side you never get to see.
I'm getting an Uber to the gym right now. I'll spend my time there,
assuming I'm not here for an overnight.
Hi there, Kelly. Hi, thank you. Good, how are you?
See ya. Thank you.
Hi there.
Is it okay if I put just throw these back here? Okay, cool. Thank you. Perfect.
Thank you. Is it done? Yes. Shut up. Thank you. You're welcome.
Thanks for hosing this baby down. It's so dirty. Wow, it's so clean.
I don't even know what to tell you guys because I'm just,
all we needed was an adequate charging box. I mean, I do need a new battery, but Mercedes
higher up says, no, no, no, not under warranty, even though he spent $7,000 on the warranty.
But yeah, so thanks, Andrew. Anyways, I'm really frustrated. So I'm going to see you guys in a
little bit. So this whole situation is just laughable. The issue is so simple. My battery
was pretty much discharged and the first inadequate box we plugged in just totally emptied it. But I
did end up buying a box that Mercedes suggested that would work just in case my house battery
didn't work again in the same situation. Because there's no way I'm going to let this happen again,
especially if I'm stranded somewhere alone, that's not as easily accessible.
But to be fully honest with you guys, I'm not even mad since I thought I wanted that alone
time. But the few extra days I got to spend here with my family were so great. It was all I needed
to recharge my own battery. Oh yeah. And you guys will never guess who asked me to do another month
long trip soon. So after two years of dating and trying everything out, we finally came to
a mutual decision that will allow both of us to live our dream lives, but also grow one together
because we really love and respect each other and really want to support each other's hopes
and dreams. And luckily they're pretty aligned. So what we're going to do is we're going to spend
one month traveling together. I'll spend one month traveling by myself and then we'll have
one month together, but not necessarily at Justin's house. We've got something brand new up
our sleeves and you guys are not going to believe it. But that is a story for another day, which by
the way, if you do want early access to my videos and my announcements, don't forget to join my

see you on an episode next Friday.
