Player ejected for slamming his bat after hitting a home run, a breakdown #umpire #baseball #sports

North Carolina Virginia Tech. We've got a home run and a bat toss. And when they show him rounding first or coming to first, you're going to see that the umpire's kind of with him. Something happened. First base is looking at him. Second baseman's kind of looking at him. He gets home. He flips that pad. Now, college baseball put a lot of rules in play about sportsmanship cuz it had gotten out of hand. There was a lot of showboating. I've got a breakdown. A guy just says f you to the kid as he's running off. So, the umpires get together. was like, "Was it a bad toss?" And he's like, "Uh, actually, yes, it was. It was. I warned him." And here's the replay of everything that went down. First, the catcher gets upset. He says, "Fucking get going. [ __ ] get going. [ __ ] get going. [ __ ] go. Get out of here. Enjoy your home run. Congrats." The umpire, he was yelling, "That's a warning. That's a warning. That's a warning. That's a warning. Okay. Catch, catch, catch. I warned him adequately enough. Okay. And he already ran. So they tell one coach, they tell the other coach that it's a warning. Both sides. Okay. Later on in the game, we've got a home run from Virginia Tech and he's going to slam his bat down. Kind of an odd slam, but he slams it down and turns. Warnings were in place. So that's h you know umpire says hey guys there were warnings in place. Uh so unfortunately he threw his bat and that is just illegal. So illegal. This guy says it wasn't that bad. Come on. Oh man. Come on. It weren't it weren't even bad. Next pitch is behind the batter but it hits his bat and it's a ground out. So, I think the pitcher was trying to hit him and God said, "No, let's just get you an out." The batter chirps the pitcher on the way off the field and the other players like ump. He said he said something not nice. As he was running by the pitcher, he said something not nice. Oh, he said it. It was It wasn't nice what he said. Did you hear it, Blue? Wasn't nice at all. And then the coaches start really yelling at each other. I'm not putting up with this [ __ ] [ __ ] No way. No way. [ __ ] you. Get out. Get the [ __ ] out of here, [ __ ] Let's [ __ ] go right [ __ ] now. You're out of here. [ __ ] you. [ __ ] you. So, he got ejected and then the umps get together and they're like, "Our warnings didn't work at all, fellas. It was not good. The warnings didn't work. We still had what we were trying to avoid.
