How to Be Mysterious

Hey everyone it's Junaid from Men In Fluency. Hope you look good, feel good and are ready to prosper because in this video I want to talk about how to be mysterious. Being mysterious is a subtle yet effective way to leave an everlasting impression on people and it really doesn't matter what kind of social situation it is. It can be your friends, it can be at a job, it can be at dating. As long as you're someone that leaves an air of mystery, people will always be intrigued. And thus with that said, let's get started. Number one, share selectively. When someone asks you about your life or interest, don't feel the need to reveal every single detail about yourself. Leave some of it to their imagination. This leaves people being more curious about you and creates a sense of intrigue because we as humans, because we as humans are very curious driven people and thus if we don't hear what we want to hear, if some of the details are left to our imagination, all we want to know is why and this makes us extremely curious and intrigued. Number two, use humour. So using humour is a very effective way to come across as mysterious and I know a lot of you guys will probably think how does that work because now you're making people laugh, now it seems like you're being the class clown or whatever. But if you're someone that develops your own sense of humour and you're still able to make people laugh without revealing too much about yourself, people will be very intrigued and curious as to how you can get the sense of attention without talking about yourself. Number three, be enigmatic. You don't have to reveal every single thing about yourself to be interesting. You don't have to tell people everything about all the types of hobbies you do, what you do in your free time because the more you tell people about what you do, the less they respect you in the sense that they know enough about you and they never had to work to know more about you and that's why it's very important to keep them guessing. Let people think, so what does he do in his daily life? How is this individual so attractive? How is this individual so successful? How does this individual have so much confidence whilst I still don't know anything about him or her? I do want to find out more about this individual and that's how you keep them guessing. That's the mindset you should have if you're Number four, take risks. So if you're someone that wants to be seen as more mysterious, it is very important that you take risks because trying out a new hobby or going out of your comfort zone can make you seem as interesting and mysterious. For example, if you try out a new hobby or you travel to a different location, if you just briefly mention it and brush it off without giving any sort of context, people will be intrigued as to why did you choose the hobby? Why did you travel to a different country? Because when it comes to most people, when they talk about that they've tried a new hobby or that they've traveled to a certain location, they start talking and talking about what happened, their experience, etc. But don't say anything about that. Just mention it and let go and this will make the other individual very intrigued and curious as to okay look he's told me about this but I don't know what happened there and this way you will come across as more mysterious. Number five, use eye contact. So holding eye contact not only makes you come across as more confident but also mysterious because a lot of times if you're holding eye contact where it's just only for a couple of seconds and you're not speaking anything, you do create this sense of tension and due to the nature of a mysterious person, you want to come across as a confident individual that doesn't necessarily need other people's validation and that's why holding eye contact is crucial because this shows that you're confident enough to actually look at someone. Number six, be elusive. If someone wants to get to know you better, it doesn't mean that you have to make yourself available because your life and your priorities over other people's life and priorities and thus don't always give in. Obviously it's important to give in here and there just to maintain the connection and still keep people at bay but if you're someone that wants to come across as mysterious, don't always be available because at the end of the day you're this cool confident individual that's living your own life and you don't necessarily have to please others. Number seven, embrace your quirks. So every single one of us has our own unique personality traits and a lot of times people try to create this persona and a lot of times people create this persona of someone that they totally aren't and that's not something I want you to do.
