I know the title sounds intense but it's not clickbait. I will explain everything in a second.
Welcome to a little life update with Nelly. This is a big one and before you get worried guys
I am still considering Philippines as home. I am still a permanent resident but I do have a
big big life update that changes quite a lot for me. So today I wanted to take the opportunity to
talk one-on-one with you guys and inform you about what's happening and why. So today I'm
talking about why I moved out of my BGC condo, the St. Moritz residences, what is happening to it
and what is actually next. So yeah, welcome to Nelly's vlog. Alrighty, topic number one.
Why I moved out and maybe you remember I was in a relationship and I bought that condo with my
previous partner Mike. After the separation we decided to split our assets and since I decided
for myself that I want to travel I wanted to move out because I wouldn't be in that place for a
substantial time anyways and told Mike that he can stay in there and it has been a really really
great decision for me. I have traveled quite a lot. You guys have seen it. I delivered a lot of
travel vlogs around the world and my YouTube career has taken off on my channel Nelly's Life.
So I'm super super thankful for that and the decision that I made but now it is time for a
new chapter. I had to make a few decisions together with Mike. So yeah, this goes right into the next
topic which is what is happening to the BGC condo. Maybe you remember how excited we got to find a
place to call home and it was for the longest time. I have such great memories from that place.
It has turned out to be a really really great investment but due to the big changes in our
lives we decided to put it on the market for sale or for rent and there's one thing I can say for
sure. It has been an outstanding place to live. It is perfectly located. It has everything that
I wanted from a home and it has full front windows. It is facing a quiet neighborhood
with three balconies, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a beautiful huge open living room with kitchen
and a maid's room that we converted into a bar. So one thing that was important for me was that
it is spacious and open with 76 square meters. It is the perfect size to have, you know, a living
area and also some separate rooms to relax, unwind, you call it whatever you want to do and
one of my favorite rooms is actually the living room. I just love it. It's so beautiful. There's
so much love for details and when I planned the interior for it I just wanted to make sure it's
a bright and calm space to unwind and relax. Every single piece in there is carefully curated and it
is custom made with love. I took you along back then through the creation procedure. Everything
has been made in the Philippines. We have beautiful high quality furniture in there and yeah it's
going to stay in there. It was definitely important for me to have natural elements in there like
wood, stone and different fabrics so you can tell that I put a lot of thought and love into planning
this place. It has been so cozy, so cozy that I barely left home. So that's the downside. Is it a
downside though? I don't think so. I think it's very very good that you have a space that makes
you feel at home and that was definitely it. And to be very very honest with you I'm a little bit sad
to let go of the centerpiece which is the huge dining table that is so unique and so beautiful.
The chairs, I don't think you can find them anywhere. It was made for us according to my
wishes and we worked together with a local company who made all of my wishes true. It will
pop up right here. Yeah the dining area is definitely something very very special especially
when you want to host some guests. And one of the things that I love is that the living room has an
attached open room kitchen and it's fully equipped with the high quality German kitchen brand Leicht
and has plenty of storage room. It has this really beautiful marble countertop that makes it very very
special and outstanding. It's a pleasure to cook there. You have so much space to move around. If
you go through the kitchen you will make it to the maid's room which was transformed to a
coffee slash bar area but it can be transformed back if you wish so. And there's also a toilet
and a washing area right next to it like a small tiny area that where you can just you know
have it somewhere away. One of the bedrooms was actually transformed into an office slash
guest room mainly because we were working from home most of the times but we also wanted to
have the flexibility if we have guests to have them sleep over for like friends and family but
if you have a kid it can also be transformed into a kid's bedroom. And last but not least the
bedroom. The bedroom was my calm oasis where I would just unwind and relax. I made sure it's very
simple and cozy so that you can get a good night's sleep. It has a walk-in closet and worth mentioning
is also the master bathroom that is quite big and also has marble countertops. The building itself
is a low-rise building, very intimate and very well located. It has a gym, it has an entertainment
area, it has a kid's playroom and most importantly it has the best rooftop pool in the neighborhood
where you have like stunningly beautiful sunset. 10 to 15 minute walk to BGC and a 5-minute walk
to Venice Grand Canal Mall and the area is getting developed so there's a lot happening right now.
Right next to it there will be a mall. The new Philippine Senate is being built nearby as well
and there will be a subway stop right across the road because that is one of the biggest
future developments happening in Manila and it will be directly there. Meaning it's going to be
very well connected. Infrastructure is just going to be through the roof in future so I'm very very
excited for that. And of course with developments there is also an increase in value. So since we
bought the condo we had an increase of 90 000 US dollars appreciation which is pretty good,
pretty pretty good, like better than in Austria. So I'm very very happy that we made that investment
and the price of the condo is currently valued at 30 million pesos. If you want to have any details
of square meter prices in BGC or want to have further information I will leave a link in the
description box down below where you can just get in touch with us. And we are offering a payment plan
and a rent to own option if you prefer that. That makes it a little bit easier for you to finance it
but yeah as I said there is a link in the description box down below. Let's talk, let's answer
some questions. It is doable, it's all about communication. And if you are moving to Manila or
if you are moving within the city we are also offering the option to rent the place for 120 000
pesos per month. I know that was a lot but if you have any questions feel free to just reach out to
me on Instagram. Let's talk, let's keep the communication flowing. If you want to help us out
it is highly highly appreciated if you send this video to somebody who you know that wants to buy
a property in Manila that is really really beautiful and a good investment or if you know
somebody who wants to rent a place. So thank you so so much. Salamat po. That would be a great help,
super super helpful. What's next? Okay you might be asking yourself Nelly, what the heck is
happening? Why are you telling us that you're moving away from Manila? And I'm not. Like I
mentioned at the beginning of this video I decided to travel the world and I am super super happy I
did. And every time I come back home to the Philippines I stay at Casa Minelli which you know
still there. It's there to stay for now and it's just five minutes away from there so we could be
neighbors you know future neighbors. Right now I'm evaluating a few options but let me say that I am
staying based in the Philippines. I do have a permanent residency there and I love love love
coming back to my home and my friends and you know my people. Yes believe it or not after living in
Asia for four five years and visiting the west I still love it here. So yeah that was it. That was
the huge huge life update and the next video that will go online is again a very very exciting
travel video. So thank you so much for the support so far and I'll see you guys in the next vlog.
