What's It Really Like Living as a FOREIGNER in the Philippines?

Welcome to a day in my life in Manila! Cat how was your class? So good! Here I am with my friend Siri. So a lot of people are walking with their dogs here but today it's a little lechon. I figured I haven't shown you a classic day in a life kind of style video on this channel yet so today I thought I'll just take you along on my morning walk. I'm currently on my way to grab some coffee. Later I'm meeting some friends at the gym and a little bit later I'm getting some work done and meeting another friend so I thought it's going to be an interesting day to show you around in BGC here. In my opinion the Singapore of the Philippines to say so. It's not how Manila Manila looks like but it's a very modern neighborhood and I love living here so I thought I'll just share a few snippets of my day with you guys and take you along. So let's go! All right this slight change of plans I headed out straight to the gym because I'm already a little bit late so I'll grab coffee later. Yeah I'm just going to show you where I work out or one of the gyms that I work out at. There we go this is it. I'll sign it. Welcome to the vlog! Oh my god I'm vlog high guys. Hi good morning. Hi Kat. Good morning. Look at that wake up sexy time to be. Right. Are you motivated? Super. Yeah I'm still a little bit tired. Really? You don't look like it. It's fine. Wait a second Kat. Wait. Okay what can we expect from this workout? I don't know the best thing is low expectation. You know why? Why? Oh and or maybe better yet you never assume. Exactly so last time I was here last time I was here it was pretty intense so uh it's probably going to be very intense today as well. It's a bigger group at 10 a.m. Got myself a cup of coffee here because they say coffee it's very expensive. So good. How long does it look like it's so good? I'm sweating. You look fresher now. Yeah. More alive. Yes kind of and this is Mico. Mico say hi. Mico was our resident dj. Yeah just a dj. He tortures us all around. Yeah such a good class. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. So that was a combination of high intensity weights um and cardio and the cardio part is really really intense because you do a lot of sprints uphill and downhill and like crazy but it's so much fun because you get the energy of the room. It's like a morning clubbing workout which I really like. I came here a little bit tired I would say and now I feel refreshed. I'm ready for the day and the fans are here so yeah that's definitely one of my favorite boutique studios gym studios here in Manila. So much fun. Highly highly recommended. If you're anything like me you might find yourself playing games while you're waiting for somebody or when you're traveling at the airport and today I want to introduce you to a new game that we tried which is Genshin Impact. I will leave a link in the description box down below but first let me tell you a little bit more about this exciting game. Genshin Impact was the most discussed game on twitter in 2021 and it is an open world game and probably one of the currently best games on the market. The story follows the traveler who has traveled across countless worlds with their twin sibling before becoming separated in Taibet and here are a few things that I like about the game. It's a real open world experience on multiple platforms. Released on PlayStation 4 and 5, iOS, Android and PC. Number two it has an elemental combat system. Number three it has an engaging storyline which is super super important to me and number four it has a co-op mode and for the bonus version 2.8 has some really amazing new features. New outfits, new hangout events, the event wish preview, new events such as the summer odyssey where I like to explore the different regions where I can travel virtually or the reminiscent regimen with the sailing gameplay for those who enjoy some fun at the beach, resonating visions, hidden strife and ever motion mechanical painting and it has a new region preview. That was it, now back to the vlog. Alrighty the workout is done. I am showered and fresh and super super motivated. I'm currently in Forbes Town which is this area in BGC where you have like lots of restaurants, lots of bars. It's very vibrant during night time so they have like these lights here and everything is kind of like European style with sitting outside. Sitting outside is not a thing in the Philippines so that's a huge difference but nevertheless people are really enjoying being here and yeah it's such a great vibe and the coffee shop where I'm going to is actually Shaka. So I'm just going to sit down there, have a smoothie, probably have a coffee as well. But yeah this is the vibe of this neighborhood. Actually that's where I bring Peanut, my cat and yeah we have these very cute buildings over here and everything is super colorful. We're even transforming facades to something very colorful. Look at that guys, so cool. All right little work session is finished. I didn't really vlog because it's so boring when I just sit by my laptop and edit. So here I am with my friend Ziri. You haven't seen her on the vlog yet, right? We're putting you to the vlog. Ziri has been my boxing buddy. So now we're just hanging out on a regular basis and you have your own business, right? Yeah. What is it? Oh my god, should I? Yeah, shout out to Peach Queen. Thank you. So Ziri has a company that is called Peach Queen. Yeah, like business accessories for V-Man. Yeah, check it out guys. It's a little lechon. What's the name of the pig? Chonky. Chonky. Hi Chonky. Hello. Oh my goodness. Hi. I love your outfit. Look at that. So I feel like now is the time where everybody comes out with the dogs to play. As you can see, there's a lot of concrete around us. Luckily, BGC has some green areas, small parks. I mean, this is like a tiny, tiny park. Oh my god. So many cute dogs. Like and subscribe. Exactly. Make it happen. Oh, cute. By the way, if you want to get around in BGC, you can also rent these bikes. They are stationed everywhere. We are headed towards BGC High Street because Ziri insisted on treating me for dinner because I did so much for her. It's like basically filming something that I do on a daily basis. Right behind me is the Mind Museum and here we have BGC High Street, the shopping mall. So green, huh? By the way, I mentioned this on my Instagram stories but Amano, my favorite Italian, is opening up right here which is super, super exciting. Okay, it's evening time. Wow, what a day. So good so far. I'm headed back home now. I mean, I could technically stay in BGC High Street and take a little stroll but I got a vlog to edit. Still have things to finish. So let's go.
