This is ROMANIA?! First Impressions of Bucharest (Most SURPRISING City in Europe)

good morning guys from Romania Bucharest the beautiful Bucharest as we have been discovering we arrived last night if you didn't see the previous video you can see our first impressions of Romania in general we've never been here ever in our lives flew in from London Gatwick and this is our very first morning today but before we do that we are stopping off at this place just underneath our building we're staying in this apartment building beautiful airb I'm sure we'll show you that later also showed you that in the last Vlog but yes coffee first before we do anything today specialty coffee this place looks really really nice I've just ordered so it's probably ready now and Lucy and Koda are inside waiting for me good morning good morning what a nice coffee shop I know very nice I'm not having oh the coffe ready good look at that thank you very much come enjoy thank [Music] you oh very nice very nice thank you I was having you no very very nice thank you thank you so quick coffee stop before we head out today this is the place that we walked past last night and there were people dancing there were people dancing Just here so in the evening it must turn oh yeah they got some alcohol we've traveled some places in the world and certain places you get good coffee and certain places they're just not as known for coffee or you don't get specialty coffee and that's fine but to come somewhere that does is a real treat that is a beautiful beautiful flat white we ate bre breakfast here this morning which was the end of the last Vlog so if you do want to go and check out that video then this place bread and butter was really really nice but onwards with today More Exploring a lot of food and I think first we're going to have a little walk around the this is like the old town area which is just stunning beautiful like the buildings the architecture here is reminding us of well we don't quite know it's kind of a mix of loads of places we've been sometimes it looks like Italy sometimes it's looks like Prague but it has a kind of older feel just really nice Lucy's on the Google Maps [Music] [Music] w f and Y and Z we always like to go on foot where we can when we're traveling a new place because you see so much and walking through here they've got like I don't know loads of bars velvet chairs that was STP one oh this is a place we're coming to see see that oh right V vross passage MAA ma vross passage but it's so weird like there's it was so there's so many chairs in there it's like amazing how many chairs they fit inside but they're not like rubbishy outdoor chairs they're like plush velvet chairs and blanket fires and stuff I bet in the evening this is the place to be but look then you step out here we're lucky with the weather as well beautiful step out here and then you have like these vast spaces with just the most stunning buildings this is reminding me of somewhere we've been before 50 m shot of that yeah yeah let's Copenhagen this is right now this section is just reminding me of Copenhagen and all this kind of colored buildings wonderful this is what we keep seeing everywhere it's Sunday morning here so that that's so funny there's these little bottles of alcohol everywhere so funny that's so good and they're like glass bottles yeah [Music] who knew that is going to be my phrase of the day who Bob George Coffee why do I want to try that instantly cuz it's got my name on it it looks really cool who knew Bucharest was this cool I genuinely didn't I thought we were coming to like a place or a country where it was I don't know just in my mind like older Less Old Forest no I don't know it's old like the buildings are just beautiful every corner we turn but it's got a new Young specialty coffee shop fashionable feel like the people look really cool here and they're they're dressing really nicely and well and I don't know I'm like blown away by this place yeah it's beautiful it's got more of a I don't think you should even compare it to anywhere I think it just is the but you can't help it if you've been to other places it's hard to not reminds me it's not saying that it's not its own country of course it is but yeah it's still nice to like wow I already want toy and describe it like other places yeah I already want to like recommend this to family for like trips great City break like your dad a lot of city breaks don't they what pizza and spaghetti what's pizza and my favorite your favorite good all right cool didn't ask good that's good today so behind me here is a famous church called and I cannot pronounce this I'm really trying here okay the Church of stav stavos stolos troos tropos um that's how I read it anyway um beautiful church but the other buildings are equally beautiful I mean it's amazing there's all these little carvings on here and then I mean everywhere you look there's these I love these like Corner buildings amazing big windows and like beautiful stone and at the end here I'm not sure what building that is but it's got like a huge glass conservatory at the top it's amazing everything's so like Grand we're trying some traditional Romanian food today and this is the spot we've chosen on some recommendations online some people said it's a bit touristy but I think it seems to take a load of boxes of things like when you Google the best like most traditional Romanian Foods all of the ones come up in this restaurant it's a bit early for us so we still only basically just had breakfast like an hour and a half ago so we're going to do a nice long walk for and then come back here soon get to CL it out in a beautiful building yet again like look up here it's amazing um but now I think we're going to a little Bookshop that I've seen I saw an Instagram video of um called something Carousel or something so we're going to go and try and find that now and then we're going to a Gardens like a park as well um such nice weather it's like 0 deg bright blue skies we couldn't ask for better weather really just jumping in here to thank response of today's video which is Wolf box we are always out in our family car and staying safe on the road is something English version but the Romanian is cesti C cesti I have no idea again I'm really sorry about pronunciations we do try but I'm not very good I didn't did you oh yeah there's a cat again do you see it K's love all the cats really cool it's beautiful in there loads of books um a whole kids book area SOA chose a new book and I got a Christmas decoration really like stunning inside probably the nicest book shop I've ever seen uh very popular in there loads of people but next we're going to a garden so we're going to go for a nice long walk to sigi Gardens or something I'll check the name again in a second but um yeah really beautiful to Romania to Romania what's to Romania yes well this is Romania c c so after all the city this morning we've walked about 20 minutes out we're still very much in the city but not near the old town now and it's sism sisu Gardens um really beautiful loads of bins random thing to notice but in in London or in woring where we live you have to really look for a bin if you've got rubbish here it seems that there's so many bins and there's no rubbish on the floor so it's definitely working it's kind of Genius so lots of bins there's also a little lake or big lake with some ducks and stuff pigeons loads of cats those of dogs of people out enjoying does remind me of walking around hide Park yeah got that yeah a smaller in a good way yeah really nice coffee stop number two of the day is it three oh we had a breakfast coffee of course we did coffee number shop no coffee shop number coffee shop number two of the Day origin what's it called no origio origo I don't know this is it [Music] thank you thank huge queue in there popular place two choice of wow wow look at that building I'll show you that probably in one second just going to do a quick coffee taste test this is an Ethiopian specialty coffee big scene [Music] here very oh that's delicious M Rich chocolatey um that's really good oh that just goes perfectly with milk it's got sweetness to it delish very very happy with the coffee scene in Bucharest did not expect that at all and here is this stunning view that building just peeking out there lovely [Music] nice is that Earth I think
