WE CAN'T BE LATE FOR THIS...
We are notoriously late. It's not easy getting 7 kids out of the house, but today we can NOT be late.
Daniel has about two minutes to be inside that store right now.
Come on Danny, come on, we gotta go.
20 minutes to get 20 minutes.
No, it's 25 minutes now.
Oh, good afternoon everybody.
I don't really have it.
What?
I don't really have it.
Okay.
We're about to head out.
We have a humongous, amazing, epic surprise birthday party.
We're going to for Graham Murray.
Anyways, we're all excited.
We're about to head out.
We're gonna probably end up being late and ruin the surprise.
That's typically what we do.
We're really trying hard not to this time though.
Let's see if we can make it.
I did not.
Miss Coop said, I know you did.
And I smiled.
You did what?
I farted.
When?
In preschool.
I mean in kindergarten.
It was so embarrassing.
And I thought it would be quiet, but it was loud.
We're sharing all the secrets today guys.
All the Murray's deepest, darkest secrets revealed.
Alright guys, we are off.
We actually had to stop at the store.
Which is just gonna put us even later than we really wanted to be.
You're talking about it's 1.30.
Supposed to be there before 2.
Daniel has about 2 minutes to be inside that store right now.
But we can't show up without a gift.
Catch 22.
Is that what that saying means?
I think that's what it means, right?
Like you kinda, it's a lose-lose situation?
Is it catch 22?
I don't know.
Come on Danny, come on.
We gotta go.
I told her let me go in.
I run in the store.
When I run in the store, people say like, I'm gonna run in the store real quick.
I'm literally running in the store.
I saw that couple.
They walked in way, way, way later than Daniel did.
And they're already out.
What's she doing in there?
All I'm saying is, she better be getting us a teleportation device while she's in there.
And here she is.
8 minutes later.
What's that?
You buy a root beer and then drink it all?
Oh John.
Just kidding.
I picked out the flowers and asked the lady to cut them and put them in the vase.
Oh, that's why.
See, that's why I should have gone in.
I would have never asked her to do anything like that.
I was gonna get a blackish colored vase, but then I was like, I think she'll like the brown one.
That's beautiful.
We'll see.
20 minutes to get 20 minutes.
No, it's 25 minutes now.
You said it's 20.
It was 22 from our house.
We're not a minute from our house.
Well now we are.
Grabbed us the light.
We'll see.
We heard from them and they're running late, so that'll give everybody time to get here.
What I was gonna say earlier is if there's one thing I know about your mom, she will
usually give us time to be late.
Alright, we made it.
Unload the children.
Let's go.
Come on.
Watch out.
There's cars.
It's Aunt Stephanie.
Remember me?
Hi Aunt Stephanie.
Say nope.
We don't even recognize you or know who you are.
Give me a five.
I'm your Aunt Stephanie.
Aw yeah.
Brad Murray.
Doing the things.
Sup buddy.
How's it going?
Good.
How are you?
I'm good man.
It looks delicious.
We're trying.
Nice.
Is Graeme gonna be so surprised?
She's gonna be so surprised.
Do you think she's gonna be surprised?
Here they are.
Surprise.
She looks angry.
She doesn't even notice.
She's asleep.
Surprise.
Yay.
We did it.
I planned it all mom.
Oh my gosh.
I can't believe it.
Happy birthday.
I don't believe this.
I really don't.
You did.
Oh my gosh.
Let him come out guys.
Oh my gosh.
Now I am in shock.
Happy birthday.
Alright.
Well happy birthday mom.
I gotta go.
I got it.
That was a good one Murray.
Aaron Murray with the funny jokes.
Happy birthday mom.
Oh my gosh.
You thought we forgot you didn't you?
That's mom's long lost friend from childhood.
They haven't seen each other in 50 years.
50 years.
Just kidding.
Mom, every one of your children is in the same place at the same time.
And almost all of your grandchildren.
And great grandchildren.
Almost?
Yeah, we're generations below.
Don't plan on this to be a regular thing.
Yeah.
Take your seat and we'll try again.
We'll try again.
Make it to 80.
If you can get to 80.
Hey guys, what's up?
We're here at the 70th birthday of Carol Murray.
And this baby's so cute.
Are you cute Mary?
Mary.
You're cute.
Did you go give grandma a birthday hug?
You gonna go give her a birthday hug?
Is that my mom?
That's my aunt.
Is that your mom?
None of these are my mom.
John, look at this.
Just kidding.
Yeah, that's me.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's me, dog.
Is it really?
What's your hair doing?
Same thing his hair does.
Wow.
Look at that.
Would you just look at it?
Hi buddy.
We got happy boys in this family.
Wow, look at that.
Graham gets her own steak.
Nobody else is getting a steak.
Only Graham.
Ready?
Here we go.
Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday to Graham.
Happy birthday to you.
Eat your cup.
We're loading up the kids.
They don't want to leave.
Oh yeah, that's chicken.
You like chicken?
No.
Well guys, what a successful surprise birthday.
Hold on.
When your mom pulled up and her eyes were closed, we all thought she was sleeping.
But then we were like, that probably blew the surprise because if you tell someone to
close their eyes, then they're expecting to be surprised, right?
Right.
She thought the surprise was going to be Brad handing her a box of taffy because she wanted
salt water taffy.
So she thought that he was saying close your eyes because when she got there, Brad was
going to be standing there with a box of taffy.
That was smart.
My dad said, Brad said to close your eyes.
I don't know why.
He just left.
I don't know why.
Oh my goodness.
Well guys, it was fun.
We had a good time.
If you heard our sound bite from the other day about driving in the car with the kids,
this is what we talked about.
All right.
Well, we love you guys.
If you didn't hear it, go listen to it.
It's called A Little Advice.
There you go.
All right.
We love you guys.
We'll see you later.
Bye.
Hey, thanks so much for watching.
