We Couldn’t Do This Any Longer

[Music] honestly looking back this was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do i don't think we realized at the time what we were going through but honestly it was it feels just like a blur looking back and and this is going to be one of them things we look back on in years time and just think wow what happened there i'm pretty sure this is the most unique strange and to be honest difficult experiences and situations we've ever been in it's been around one year since we got back to the uk wake up every day in a box thinking about my 3 700 pounds they'd knock on the door and have our breakfast and it'd be like seven different tupperwares one with sausages one with beans like a full english every day i was pregnant about 20 weeks pregnant and like the weirdest memories it's like some fuzzy bubbles and we were allowed outside for exercise for 20 minutes a day but we couldn't just walk outside we'd have to call and ask for someone to come and get us your security outside the door [Music] good morning welcome back to another video you join us on a saturday morning and we are headed to a car show in our town in worthing you know we like a good car show and there's not often ones so close to where we live so we thought let's head down code is in the buggy here jordan's here holding a hat see he's falling off my head yeah kept running over with the buggy and we also nearly ran and got run over by a car trying to get it very noisy wow there's a lot of cars we're gonna have space to get through with the buggy that's my first thought these days yeah that's true it's a classic car show as well so that'd be cool so we're literally seeing some still arriving here they're coming off the road straight in we can go in through this way because we are on foot let's have a look oh yeah look yeah maybe so this is steam gardens they have loads of like shows and stuff here and it's just a bit of green that there's often events at oh and code is obsessed with trees so he's in his element right now don't have a look this is a very nice color i'll show it the first thing we see first thing we see is a range of high so called massive windows love it so many different types of cars they did this they've done this car show for years and years when i was a coders age my dad used to bring me here to this exact car show which is really weird because it's like a time and machine kind thing but very very cool people 911. let's go and have a look at that classic porsche we used to do the um supercar sunday videos in manila which we loved that was our favorite thing to do in bgc and that is stunning yeah was to come and look at look at the old the old fords oh nice yeah we're meeting lucy's mom here comment below if you've owned any of these check these out it's amazing how old they look now but this is something i'm interested in this is very very nice classic porsche definitely a targa definitely on the uh wish list or the dream car list for one day something similar to this look at that manual raw driving experience i imagine did he needs to be a model because his pictures are just out this way [Music] so i was just saying that my dad used to take me to this very car show when i was a few months old and then my dad shows up i think you're a bit big to sit on my lap today yeah a little bit we we wouldn't fit now but koda's been really enjoying it bless him it won't be long before he's changing gear yeah no there'll all be automatics by then i think an electric just be a battery he'll just sit in the back and it'll drive itself i think yeah exactly i think my dad even owned a few of the cars on display here there's absolutely yes there's some cortinas some old fords it's just like yesterday yeah you're a classic i have a collection what a nice way to spend a saturday morning what a nice week so nice like i love how things bring people together cars bring people together and stuff like that there's coffee festivals coffee brings people together music brings people together a particular artist youtube brings youtube brings people together speaking of which oh yeah we actually wanted to um discuss something with you we thought we'd take the opportunity now as we're just walking home we're getting home for koda's nap we thought we would discuss something brand new that lucy and i are launching yeah for a select few of our kind of top viewers i suppose yeah and this is something we've thought about for a while but we haven't we haven't figured out what it should be yet but i think we figured it out yeah it's not going to be for everyone and that's totally fine but yeah we're just going to say it just so that if you want it you can have it if you don't yeah we're basically going to be creating some exclusive content for supporters of the channel and and this is going to be through the youtube membership program you can now become a member of our channel which is a small monthly fee which goes directly to us to support what we do what we do us making videos and this is why it's optional because our vlogs will always be free for everyone to watch the main videos but we we didn't just want to ask for like people to sign up to the membership and not get anything for it yeah so we're actually going to be creating exclusive content for members and it's gonna be specific content thinking things like really intimate q and a's um really laid back videos where you get to know i mean i feel like you know us very very well but we can really dive into some topics we can bring up like the do the thing message again and start speaking more about that we can have some really inspiring chats with you yeah how we got a ton of ideas even stuff like how we started youtube how we continue to grow being content creators full time those topics things we think about things of improving our lives all these deeper conversations and i think this is just a good way for us to do it hopefully for everyone so we obviously are going to get some support from you guys and then the people that do want to do it they're going to get something back so it's like a nice thing but it doesn't affect anything else we're still going to have the regular uploads on this channel you're still going to see everything you're seeing at the moment but it's just going to be a little bit more on top so it's just a little bit more for us to do but a bit more content and for the people that want to yeah it's kind of like when we did merch people wanted to buy the merch or if say say in the future we've like released a book or something you're you're getting something extra but this is going to be videos for members only and no one else will be able to see it so if you're a member you will be in this small group we'll be able to chat with you we'll be able to comment back and yeah that's exciting is it super exciting we've decided to go for it we think we're going to be launching in the next few weeks so um if you're watching this now and you want to sign up and then we'll be messaging sort of when we're going to be doing it once we've got some more stuff to get out because though in like a day [Music] okay it's a little bit later on now and george and i were just saying that we both feel pretty knackered um obviously having a baby is a big part of that but we've just been pushing hard half away with everything like it was like everything's just been 100 for the past week or so and every day we're up at six and we're still working until like 11 p.m so it's not the best balance i wouldn't recommend it and we both just said we need to work on it and calm down a little bit and slow down a little bit but the days just go by so quickly it's just unbelievable and actually the year i was about to say the years gone by so quickly as well because it's been around one year since we got back to the uk which a year since the london hotel quarantine a year i feel like we were just there i remember it so well wake up every day in a box thinking about my 3700 pounds that's been whittled away on this hotel eating curry for breakfast lunch and dinner as you know just for lunch and dinner that was good though amazing actually to be fair complaining not complaining and eating we must remember the end they'd knock on the door and have our breakfast and it'd be he'll be like what crazy times crazy times and you can watch the vlogs you can watch the vlogs anyways so yeah it's been a whirlwind what a year it's been we've had a baby we've had six months of him growing up we've had the end of the pregnancy and we've had a renovation of an apartment we've gone on a ton of different trips we've traveled more we've grown this channel we've grown our instagrams and done some really awesome content nests we're buying a house we sold this flat we've had loads of updates with this stuff over in manila as well and plans being put in place for that so i feel like it's the end of a year like as in new year new me but it's just been a year mad so anyways tonight for dinner we have some jacket potatoes with some carrots some broccoli some pork steaks and mustard so like a nice english meal is that english or is it like german with the mustard both but european milk koda's bedtime is in about half an hour so we're just doing some little bits of playing before bed but i think i'm going to end this video here in an effort to stop working so late we've still got three or four things to do each today and it's already five or six things half five already so we'll still be up a little bit later but at least if i end the vlog i'm not gonna be tempted to pick the camera up again and anyway thank you so much for watching today's video if you did enjoy it
