Hey everyone! Welcome to my channel Teju Healthy Eats. Today I'm sharing three easy refreshing
smoothies that are absolute family favorites. We know it's summer when we start craving these.
Perfect after a walk or even to take along to the pool. Let's dive right in.
For the green glow smoothie, I'm starting with banana. I'm adding slices into a ziploc, label
it and pop it into the freezer overnight so it's ready to blend tomorrow. This one's great for iron
and fiber and has a lovely fresh kick from the lime and mint. I'm starting with a cup of almond
milk, then in goes some hemp seeds, soft dates and a bit of chopped ginger. Next, a handful of fresh
spinach and some mint for that cool flavor. I'm adding half an avocado to make it super creamy
and finally a half a frozen banana to keep it chilled and thick. Blend it all up until smooth
and creamy. If you are enjoying these recipes, don't forget to hit the like and subscribe for
more healthy meal ideas every week. Pour it into a jar, top it with some hemp seeds and enjoy. It's
fresh, energizing and the perfect green smoothie to kickstart your day. This is my go-to almost
every morning. Next up, the tropical sunshine smoothie. And this smoothie, it's a house
favorite, especially because summer brings the best mangoes. I'm adding carrot, pineapple, banana
and mango into a ziploc, label it and freeze it overnight. That way it's prepped and ready to go
in the morning. Bright and happy tropical sunshine smoothie. I love how vibrant and naturally sweet
the seeds. It's a beta carotene boost in a glass with sunflower seeds to add some protein and
healthy fats. Starting with a cup of coconut milk, then adding in a tablespoon of sunflower seeds for
some healthy fats. Next, I'm tossing in frozen mango, frozen pineapple and half a frozen banana.
Adding in some frozen chopped carrot for a sweet veggie boost, a splash of vanilla for flavor
and a little maple syrup to lightly sweeten and balance the tartness. Finally, a quick squeeze
of lemon to brighten it all up. Blend it all up until smooth and creamy. Pour it into a jar,
top with coconut flakes or seeds and sip your sunshine. It's tropical, refreshing and packed
with vitamins to start your day right. And this watermelon berry cooler, it's great for pick-me-up
when you're thirsty after a swim or playing a sport. I'm adding watermelon and strawberries into
a Ziploc, label it and freeze it overnight. This makes blending super quick and easy tomorrow.
This hydrating watermelon berry cooler is perfect for hot mornings. It tastes like a chilled berry
refresher. Watermelon, strawberries, cucumber, Greek yogurt, coconut milk, lime and vanilla
come together for a sweet, refreshing blend. Pour in a cup of coconut milk, add a tablespoon
of pumpkin seeds for that extra boost. Now toss in frozen watermelon, frozen strawberries
and cucumber. Super hydrating and cooling. Scoop in some Greek yogurt for creaminess,
a splash of vanilla for flavor and finish with a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
Blend it until smooth and refreshing. Pour it into a jar, top it with a few mint leaves or seeds
and enjoy. It's light, cooling and packed with antioxidants, perfect for hot summer days.
