MILLION DOLLAR Night View at our NEW MANILA CONDO! (Luna Eclipse Moon)

Moon river, wider than a mile. That's right guys, today we have a moon vlog. We haven't done a moon vlog for, I don't think we've ever done a moon vlog. But tonight, that's what we're doing. Welcome, welcome to the vlog. Lucy's here. Hello. And we've got this lens on today, which is, it's a big, it's our moon lens. It's also our zoom lens. Because we are planning, you might think I look tired. That's because I am. But it's pretty much the end of the day. But we wanted to try and capture something cool on the vlog tonight. And for ourselves to look back on in the future. It's a lunar eclipse in Manila. Well, in Manila or in the whole world? In the whole world. We thought that, we basically have an epic view from our new condo of the moon, exactly where the moon is. So we are gonna head over there, go on our new balcony and try and see this lunar eclipse. That's what we're doing tonight. Hope you guys are doing well. Welcome back to a brand new daily juice. Now, if we look out here, we can see that it isn't quite dark yet. And there is no sign of the moon. So fingers crossed, we'll actually be able to see something, but we're gonna hop in the car and go down there now. We may also go for some dinner this evening. We do have a six pack chef meal, but we tried some of it. We weren't too keen on it. The first one that we didn't actually like. So instead of having that, we might actually try and go for a little dinner. I haven't been here for a while, so we need to turn the power on. We also haven't yet been here at night. Look at this at night. Oh, you have not seen the moon yet. Wow, the moon looks so cool. Have you seen the moon? Oh, the moon, wow, so nice. Okay, let's get these lights on. So there she is. This is the moon. You guys can't see it on this camera, but it's already going red. This is a blood moon. A full blood moon we're going to see. This is going to be a blood moon, so it's going to be fully red. And at 7.11, it's going to be switching to fully red. So let's go outside. We haven't yet, look at the mall. It's so nice. The lights are ridiculous and the breeze is lovely. Wow. So this is the first time that we have been out here at night. So this is our, kind of our first night here. We're not staying here because still no furniture, still haven't decorated. Coming very soon, don't you worry. What do you think of the nighttime view? It's so nice, isn't it? Crazy how many lights they've put out. And there's those zigzag lights down here. Wow. And we knew that we had, we don't have any moon view in our current condo, so we knew we'd have to come here to see it. And we've got the perfect view of the moon from here. It's so cool. I can't wait to see it all red in a minute. But until then, we're just going to probably relax out here in the wind. Yeah, this is the only furniture we have so far. So that is our setup for tonight. The lunar eclipse. ♪♪♪ Okay, I know we're here to see this moon, which is impressive. It's very red, a little bit misty. There's a little bit of cloud on there. Even more impressive than the moon. And I think it's because it's the first time we're seeing it. Is this view. This view is insane in the day. You guys have seen it on the vlogs if you've been watching us kind of moving in. Well, getting the keys to this place, coming in. So many questions at the moment. When are you guys moving in? When are you properly moving? It's happening, guys. It's happening. I mentioned the other day in the vlog, we're kind of waiting. There might be something lined up that is going to help us out with the renovation. So we're kind of waiting on that. We're discussing a few details and options and what we want and stuff like that. So we're kind of waiting for that. You guys will be the first to know because we are very excited to move into here. You will be the first to know when we're properly getting going with it and moving in. We're also enjoying our current apartment because we're coming into the last few months of the rental contract with that one. And yeah, we want to make the most of that as well because we've got some good memories there and we're going to miss that apartment. So it's nice. I think the timing is going to work out perfectly, but I'm so happy we bought this condo. This is so nice. So this here is my source of what I'm getting information from. Eclipse timeline, total eclipse starts, maximum eclipse, total eclipse ends. But look at it right now. It's like becoming less and less there. I think there's some cloud over it. You guys can see that in the distance. I think it's going to. This is currently what we're seeing right now. So for anyone that doesn't know what a lunar eclipse is, this is the sun here, this is the earth, this is the moon. And the moon basically moves into the earth's shadow and the sun's no longer anywhere near the moon. We've never seen this before, haven't we? I don't think so. I think I've seen like sun eclipses. Like is that a normal eclipse? Yeah. I've never seen a lunar eclipse, but yeah, it's getting less and less there. I guess that the moon is currently, the moon is lit from the sun and the sun is currently, this is about to be in line with the sun, the earth, and the moon. And therefore we're not going to be able to see it. So that's what's going to happen. And then I guess. So when we can't see it is actually the thing we want to see. Is that right? I think so. So George has found this, which is the cycle. And it shows, point to where you think we are now. I think we're like only about here. Yes, we've got a great amount to come. I think it's going to do all this. Or we've missed it. No, we haven't. Whoa, I think there's a lunar eclipse on your face right now. Yeah, this light is pretty good. I'm glad we bought this light for the camera. Such a nice breeze up here as well. You can sit out here without being too hot. It actually feels a bit, oh, I'm very white. It actually feels a bit like a sea breeze. It feels like we're by the ocean staying in like an Airbnb in La Union or like, I don't know, somewhere else by the beach. And there's just a beautiful breeze. It's very peaceful, very relaxing. And we can hear a tiny bit of the mall music going, which is very nice. Like kind of opera love songs. And we're about to see a blood moon. So what a great experience. Never seen one, never seen one in the Philippines, never, I don't think we've ever seen one anywhere. We have not. Maybe we have, but I don't remember it. So yeah, you can see the wind in my hair though. Hang on, there you go. That's the judgment of how windy it is. It's pretty windy, but it's not annoying windy. The wind is kind of blowing towards us, meaning it's like the worst type of wind is when it's behind you and it blows into your face. So it's actually nice. It blows it out of your face. It's always windy up here. It's not been once, but in the morning, but I feel like in the evening it's always windy, which is nice. We've also got lights up here that we could put on, but I kind of don't just want to be sat like lit up. You literally are sat lit up. I know, but like in a minute I'm not if I turn the camera off. Right, what's the moon doing? I've lost it, it's gone. Okay, the moon's gone. The moon has disappeared. Clean. And something else to mention, unlike an eclipse that you have with the sun where you can't look directly at it and you need to have them like special goggle things, this is the moon. So we can just be looking at it without worrying about our eyesight being damaged at all. It is slowly coming back. There's so many airplanes, I love it. Okay, I'm going to go and get my phone. Update, we've been staring into space, literally into space, for the past 20 minutes. Nothing's happening, really. Although there's a slight red edge to the moon. Was it worth coming here? Debatable. Not yet. I'm not having a good time, I am. We've got six minutes until it's supposedly at its peak. No, 7-11 is when it's meant to be. Oh, 7-11, well that's in one minute. Yeah, I know. So unless it gets its act together and shows its face, I think we could put this one down as a no-show, quite frankly. But we've had a good time here. Do you want to do some moon puns? I don't think there's any good space puns. There's none. There's none, we're just trying to think of them. I'm probably really good at puns. It's gone again. I hate to break this to you. I think we should leave. I think we've wasted our time. It's been lovely. It's been really nice. It's gone. The moon's gone, guys. The moon's gone. So thanks for watching the vlog. But we're just in Finn Snow's story. He got a good shot. Maybe it's because he's in Cebu. Maybe there'll be a Finn Snow vlog coming soon. But he's in Cebu. Yeah, I think we just got unlucky with some cloud, you know? Yeah, we waited until it was past when it should be. We weren't just super impatient, but, I mean, we saw it kind of red, but not exactly how it should have been. Little bit. Yeah, oh well. But, now we can eat dinner. We just have to wait another two years for it to happen again. And here's our dinner. Katsu chicken curry. I haven't eaten it in a very long time. Very excited. One of my favourite meals in the world. So we're gonna tuck in now and maybe start setting your Netflix.
