SURPRISED AT THE NEW HOUSE! | HOUSE UPDATE

the master-bathroom kept me the longest to decide I'm nervous [Music] not quite what I thought it would look like all put together oh that's not right okay you guys we are about to go inside our house and see what is happening it's actually been a while because we've not been feeling great but the last thing we know is that they were laying tile in all the bathroom floors and so we're gonna go take a peek and just see what's different see what make sure they laid the right tile that is important and sometimes this kinds of mistakes happen yeah the kids are all at school we've got Mary with us are you ready oh I'm ready let's get in there let's go so we officially have an end of January closed date which seems it seems far it's not at all considering Thanksgiving and Christmas and John and I are going on a trip to Hawaii that we won with our company and living so all of that is gonna be taking place right at the time we're trying to pack up get ready to move and then close on our house so I have a feeling like we are gonna blink and be moving into this house and I can't wait just a quick update let's show in the front again John I'm so so happy we changed the stone color at the last minute we were gonna go with like a dark grey stone and I was like John I want some warmth like I don't want it to just be all black and white and gray I want some warmth so we changed to this light colored stone and I could not be more happy about it I think it turned out perfectly show me Vanna White showed me the stone there we go so it's so nice the garage is finished we've got the little me in here we've got this cute little section to store I'm not sure what we'll put in there but maybe extra food paper towels what do you think cleaning supplies I don't know give me that like a mop broom another bedroom perfect Mary there's your broom I'm sorry I'm over here is an outlet that is dedicated for a deep freezer we're gonna have a big tub deep freezer to put everything in and this is so cool if you go through this little tap you are in our third car garage we'll have the hot water heater back there I don't know what we'll do with all this space but I told John I'd love to like put all the kids with their bikes and stuff in one so we can keep this grudge somewhat open to park the van in we've not been able to park our car at night so I'd love to have no space to put all their toys and outside stuff and then be able to actually use our garage like it's meant to be used okay so I'm gonna let drawn up in the door but before he does I just want to point this out right up there that wire hanging down it's for a outlet for John's Christmas lights there's one there always one one love it on the other level but and I can get use it for a whole year I know but there's still a switch inside the door so you turn on the switch and it turns on the Christmas play so exciting so next year next Christmas yeah you got some save up for will buy all the discounted lights this year and then you'll be ready yes all right I have that on video guys let me get first let me get first just kidding I'm just here we are we've made it in they have painted it it's so pretty look we have painted we didn't keep my payment everything is bright white here's our office can you go in there and shut the door so they can see ya oh so we've got these glass pane doors so they'll keep that film off and you'll be able to see into there and that's where I will that is where I will work John will work the work will get done I'm gonna put a lock on that door so my kids can't go in there our dining room we had them paint a different color it's okay but I kind of think it's so close to the white that I might want to just you know paint it darker or just paint it wait I'm not really sure yet oh my gosh I was seriously so busy telling you guys about the look okay built-in shelves next to the fire and they just put doors on them oh cool okay I will say that I am going it's gonna drive me insane that those doors are different than the rest of our cabinets John what okay we seriously like the tile is what we were expecting I feel like you don't come for like two or three days we have kitchen cabin oh my god oh and they have the soft closes oh they still closing wait a minute they weren't supposed to know they weren't the doors will only specify no yeah yeah the drawers too so my kids will not be able to slam these suckers so cool Oh guys stop okay this I can't wait for you to see this color that we chose here you'd actually take this know it is like the perfect color I thought they were going to be more red do you remember the one I swear do you guys remember like I swear it so I wanted like a light like supernatural color the lightest color they had still had like a honey like reddish undertone to it it was like you know what it's close enough it'll be fine but I swear these are so much lighter they're part like this is exactly what I wanted Jonah I'm so happy look at that oh I can't wait till the countertops are in you guys need our countertops huh asking when they're coming but look at that daddy's like I wish you guys could see I can't wait to share it to you all together but that is exactly the color that I wanted I'm so happy right now what I mean I was happy like with the one that we picked out in the showroom but like partners like man I wish it was a little lighter I even asked them if it was possible to get them unfinished like just with a clear coat because I wanted it to look like really natural wood and she was like no sorry that's not an option our lightest one is medium video from the other yeah the clip from there because it was not that light and we wanted it to be that light whatever you wanted and this has two bins it's a trash route that'll be filled up in about five minutes little kitchen tour here we're gonna have a coward and a dishwasher and this is gonna be our sink hold up here sauce it which is nice little overlook the window we had him switch the cam light for a pendant light because the can was like really off-center so I said that's not gonna work and they couldn't move it over because there was a beam so I asked him if they could put a pendant instead so we're gonna have a hanging pendant light over the beautiful I don't know what you're putting here it's one glass one cup if you are us what would you put in here it's like yeah my hands are talking so it's not huge oils would work but I feel like you'd have to dig around anyway okay these are gonna have glass paints here so it's me glass seriously hooked up and then the hood vent above it I can't wait this until the backslash yeah okay overview pantry which is nice will have a lot of space and we currently have and then right here will be the refrigerator not sure this space is big enough first job I think you know okay giant fridge oh you a little more crazy kids the plan is to order a double refrigerator extra light okay so the plan is to get like a double door fridge so no freezer inside at all would just have the deep freezer outside and just have refrigerator space because right now we don't have enough refrigerator space so if you guys know of a good brand or where we could find one let us know we're planning the shop on Black Friday for that because hello so what do you guys think we were originally thinking open shelving on either side above like two or three shelves that are just open they wouldn't do that without like a ridiculous up charge so we're gonna do it ourselves it's gear in here you know they're in there what are y'all thing or build something there or just like put art or maybe just some like smaller show I'm not really sure what to do with it now John we think anyway we'll figure something out for over there but let us know what you would like if you guys have she'll be next to your fireplace what does it look like the mantle I notice John May added the slate to it and they fixed it it was originally the wrong like mantle style but they they came in and they fixed that and they added so we just won't look like black slate and then like the cleanest simplest mantle design that they have which I'm loving so far all the things are you guys ready to go upstairs I don't know oh if the kitchen cabinets are in there probably the bathroom cabinets might be into okay here's a girl's bathroom and they've got white cabinets in here okay so they have white cabinets I'll walk in and show you before this is a tile it is called emblem in gray and then a dark grout it's really pretty I wish you could see the hole baby yeah what do you think I love the white cabinets oh so we picked white on white at the veining in the counter except right here this little piece on the side it's just the one it's gray it's got great veining in it but you can see the whole rest of the counter is not do you see that so it's weird that it's just that one piece we're gonna have oh I can't wait to show you guys like the rest of the choices we're in here okay what is the worst thing if you've ever built a house what is like the biggest like they mess this up that's a yeah the biggest whoopsie that happened to you during that process I want to know and now oh I don't know what I want to see ours last I wanna see ours last I was almost gonna go in the bathroom but I'm gonna save that for last we're gonna go oh no we're not we're gonna go in here the laundry room the tile okay so what you went with a light grayish color and then dark grout for the laundry room so our washer and dryer be over there it's not the biggest laundry room but it will do yeah I mean right now we have a pretty decent sized laundry room and it's just full of laundry so either that one is gonna be spilling out the door or we're gonna do better at keeping up with it because there's not space to just pile vote now who this bathroom I can't wait to see they can open it babe this is one we put the okay are you ready there is our tile it's so pretty you guys it has it the prettiest coloring in neutral it looks like painted on this and the big reveal okay guys ready one two okay so it's hard to tell the color it is not great it's actually like a jade green color oh we're gonna have it's like gold hardware I'm looking for special cabinet knobs for the girls I want to do like a little butterfly or like a little diamond for the drawers I mean and then they're gonna have a pendant light so not a light over top of a mirror yeah it's gonna be so pretty you can't wait to see it when it's all done this is like making it really hard if Miss is making January seem really far away okay this wasn't here last time either so now when we bring the girls it won't be scared hold on to it when they come down they're always like I'm scared go down okay I got you oh man okay this is the one I'm most nervous about because I feel like there was so many this is the one that took me the longest to decide on the master bathroom hit me the longest to decide and we went with two there were like two different visions I had what we ended up was like different than what we started with because they didn't have exactly like what I thought I want anyway but what I ended up picking I'm like I think this is perfect like it felt like oh my gosh this is so me and my aesthetic like but the colors are never ever the same in the pictures as they are in real life so this is where this could either be wonderful and perfect or it could be not quite what I thought it would look like all put together so we'll see I'm never [Music] like every picture in it okay you guys can't see this but in my head I see it completed we're gonna have black hardware on these black faucets either square or like rectangle or round mirrors I'm just like picturing decorating it already and then oh I'm so excited look so then here is bathtub and shower and this is my favorite child of all time right here it has the prettiest texture and tones it is called modern heart and that's the same tile there that is in the shower on the floor which they didn't even have in the showroom but I couldn't I didn't love and either ones they had and she's like you know what I think we can get that one in a mini tile and so they did and it's so like we're gonna have a glass shower door and then black you know faucet over here on the shower and the tub and the cabinets are the perfect color again I thought they might be too warm and they're not at all like to read they are so happy feels like Christmas it feels like Christmas what do you guys think don't tell me if you hate it don't cut me out I want to know if you love it like I know it's missing details they become hardware and the black faucets and stuff around they are gonna tie it all in together I'm gonna have some eucalyptus and a little base like it's gonna be perfect I can't weigh em sex I can we move in yet no I just have to add like look how bright this room is look how bright everything is this is no light there's no electricity it's just all natural light you guys look I like bright the whole like the master bedroom you can see that even this bedroom has a house right next to it but it's still so so quite naturally the downstairs like look how bright it is downstairs even wood out what you see I love that I love that so much like that's one of my favorite I crave light like it's brighter than our current house because this is so much more open like this is the whole downstairs is right here and it's also open which I love this kitchen makes our heart so happy I can't wait to see you guys get to see it all put together you ready yeah I'm gonna let merun take a nap in the car and go pick up her sisters she's now feeling great but I don't mind all the snowballs can't wait to share the next house update with you guys that we love you we'll see you so soon hey thanks so much for watching if you want to make sure you don't
