Our First Vacation Since MANILA QUARANTINE!

Good evening guys, welcome back to another juicy vlog. Lucy says I shouldn't go out with my hair like this Coming out the sides of my hat But I told her I'm gonna do it. Anyway, welcome to the vlog. We are about to head out. It's actually the evening It's 5 p.m. This is the day that we woke up at 5 a.m. So we're a little bit tired We've actually just been having a little nap and watching some YouTube and Chilling out for a couple of hours because we're not used to get up at 5 a.m For anyone who does that on a daily basis whether they choose to or have to I respect you and I think that's really cool Because it's something I've wanted to do for a while to get into the routine We were up at like 7 a.m. Most days, but 5 a.m. There's a whole nother story Yeah was quarter to 5. We left the house at like 5 15. So we this evening are actually off to meet Mike and Nelly We're supposed to be meeting them in Foreman It has you guys and I we're always late for things, but we should be about on time We're meeting them today firstly to have some dinner We're actually going down to broad site in which I just said in my best British accent, it's actually a German or Austrian place Yes today is like National Austria day Austrian National Day something like that. So obviously Mike and Nelly are very connected to that So we're going down with them in BGC. So like it's only a couple of minutes walk for us So we're having some dinner with them, which is gonna be nice But secondly, we're kind of gonna try and discuss a little bit of a getaway plan for the four of us It's been a while since we travel together I mean, it's been since January if you've been watching the vlogs January was the last time we all travel together in Sabu for Cinelog festival then everything happened with all the quarantines and the lockdowns running around trying to sort some things out before are you Did you do in washing that? If I don't put it on the hanger now, then it will smell of death Okay guys, if we were late, this is why Yeah, we haven't traveled with those guys since January so it's been a little while and then all the lockdown and stuff happened and they were in Chagall Obviously if you watch their vlogs, you know that and we were here and then we've kind of been I mean We see them regularly now in Manila, but with the travel kind of opening up province to province Looks like we might be able to arrange a little bit of a road trip Maybe I know one or two days three or four days. I don't know not gonna call it making One thing I don't know if we're not gonna call it making it juicy on the road 5.0 We might I don't know if we're going that far We might start off easy, but I think something could be happening with Mike and Ellie very very soon Vlogging is way more important than laundry We are both rocking the Enchanted Kingdom umbrellas we thought it'd be super lazy to uh Drive to where we're going because it really is just down the road and we accidentally stole these from Enchanted Kingdom But we are giving them back when we go back We it was raining when we left so we walked these to the car and then we were gonna give them to the guard But we were like chatting away and stuff and we forgot to return these umbrellas So, you know, it's all right At least people know we've been to Enchanted Kingdom And it keeps us dry and we will return them when we next go Health forms before going to any restaurant these days Good evening guys Hello, Mike. Hello Nelly And to you even more so Is this Austrian music Right Lovely sounds amazing. Yeah sounds good to me. Yeah, it sounds like a Monday It was like a real celebration today, they're gonna bring out some Austrian food today for us I've been to Austria just one just once For one night and one day and that was it in Vienna There's a vlog on the channel from maybe like three or four years ago If you want to go and check that out, we actually were in Austria So we have some beef soup here with some vegetables This looks delicious. It looks like such a treat. I need to eat all of that. I don't know how to share with you It's like cheese On some toasted bread, this is like my perfect meal. Yeah So I love people don't use I haven't had them in so long I haven't actually seen them in Manila yet So maybe I need to pick up a jar of these. Yeah It would be fun for one or two night trip last night the comments any recommendations you have for a hotel and Airbnb resort We've never traveled together before so Just hit the road now, shall we? All we need Hey, we've moved on to design for creme brulee and Hi this month This is that this was the Kaiser's favorite dish This dish was created by an accident And he knocked over the sugar Caramelizing Here we are today It's leg day tomorrow at the gym It's good for me So we went on a sledging trip You're very rustic Austrian alpine farm I mean, we literally have this beautiful stallion We have blankets was really romantic really nice And this guy he works I kind of said like oh, no. No, it's fine. Not for me. I don't like to drink Then he said that do another so on the museum drink the medina obviously before which means First I also have to drink so I can see when I drive you back Guys we have been planning a trip of some sort All night. We've been chatting so much It was such a good evening and if you guys want to check out any of the food it brought is so good We'd highly recommend it. They even gave us a little I think it's some sort of sourdough loaf to take home We had such a good evening with Mike and Nellie and also with some of the guys over our broadside So if you want to check it out, we highly recommend it It's over on BTC High Street, and it was it felt like a more of a community food, didn't it? They said if we ever want to come and edit vlogs or like work on their Wi-Fi and like leave our bags Yeah, get coffee they were so so nice Yeah, we really appreciate it so The four of us were getting excited about talking about even a short trip even some like potential traveling now that we We both have cars Convoy a convoy drive and it's like making a juicy on the road But in a different way in the new era in the new normal for like one or two nights But maybe like a like a weekend trip kind of thing just stay for a couple of nights Maybe visit the beach one day have a bit of a chill like relax in the evenings as chat Just taking it back the simple times. I feel like since quarantine we're gonna appreciate the smaller things more and Maybe the things that we didn't we could just kind of brush past before we enjoy them before but we didn't quite appreciate them Maybe before so it's like giving us a new perspective and we just know this trip is gonna be super super fun So if you've got any recommendations, please comment below.
