Hey guys, welcome back to another Daily Juice.
Look at this sunlight on my face.
This is a good sign.
We are on a sunset mission today.
We are hoping today to catch a sunset
at the new Manila Bay White Sand Beach.
We were there for the day of the opening
and we realised that something that would be awesome
to see there is the sunset.
We've experienced several epic Manila Bay sunsets
in the past, but this new white sand,
I think it's gonna make it even more special.
So hopefully we're gonna catch that today.
I think it's gonna be busy.
I think it's the second day of opening,
so I think there's gonna be lots of queues,
but hopefully we'll be able to get a shot to show you guys.
It should be really fun today.
So if you're new around here,
we've had a lot of subscribers recently,
kind of a crazy influx of subscribers
over the last couple of days.
So if you're new, thank you so much
for clicking on the channel today
and please hit that subscribe button if you can.
And just a quick introduction.
I'm Lucy, this is George.
That's why the name is Juicy Vlog, George and Lucy,
if you didn't already know.
And we live in Manila.
We've been in the Philippines for a couple of years now.
We've been living here for just over one year
and we've got loads of adventure travel vlogs
on the channel from before.
And now we've just been kind of documenting
the whole of quarantine, really, in the Philippines.
And we've got over almost 1,000 videos on the channel
you can go and check out if you're interested.
But I'm excited today.
I love a sunset.
Sunset's probably my favorite time of day.
And because it's been raining quite a lot today,
the sky's kind of cleared a lot.
There's some beautiful clouds
and the sun is very much out.
So fingers crossed, it's gonna be the perfect recipe
for an amazing sunset.
Guys, I think we are in for a huge treat tonight.
Sunset.
I mean, it's still incredibly sunny right now,
as you guys can see.
But one hour to go, we've hit a little bit of traffic,
which is unsurprising.
But you can see the sun flare
coming through the window here, super nice.
There are a lot more people down here than yesterday,
I guess.
There were a lot of vloggers around us,
Mike and Nelly, tons of other channels that we saw.
This was like on YouTube anyway,
and obviously mainstream media and stuff.
But on YouTube,
this was incredibly well-documented over the last few days.
There's a guy's channel I saw
who's pretty much coming here every single day
and giving daily updates, which I thought was pretty cool.
So there has been a lot of attention here.
There's a lot of people here,
a lot of people want to see this beach.
We're going to try and park where we parked before,
but I actually don't know if we're going to get a space.
Oh, nice.
Super nice.
It's going to be an epic sunset by the looks of things.
I think it's going to be good.
Yeah, the sky's clear.
I'm so excited to see it.
The last time we were here,
if you want to check out this vlog,
this is when we caught an insane sunset.
We came to Manila Bay for dinner.
We found a restaurant right on the water.
We watched sunset.
We'd actually just been to one of the malls nearby,
I think we had like an afternoon here and a dinner
and the sunset was just incredible.
It reminded me of Boracay, it reminded me of,
I don't know, like being on a,
you literally get the sun.
The sunset's there, right there.
I don't know how, how was that?
That's luck, right?
You can't plan that.
No.
When Manila Bay was being made.
Oh my God.
Wow.
Look at these other people.
This is crazy.
We're still not quite near where we want to be.
You can already see there's just hundreds of people
getting pictures,
I guess trying to see the white sand.
I wonder if you can see it from there
because it's further down this way.
You can see here, there's just hundreds and hundreds
of people.
It's insane.
That is crazy.
Okay, this might be a bit of a mission tonight.
This might be tricky,
but we will do our best to show you guys.
Even if we just see it from the car,
it's going to be a nice sunset,
but we'll try our best.
Oh wow.
This is mental.
That's the queue, I think, look.
No way, you're kidding.
No, it can't be.
No, that's ridiculous, that's crazy.
There are so many people here.
Yeah, look here.
Yeah, look, all these people just crossing the road.
But then you get into problems with social distance.
Yeah.
Oh wow, that is unbelievable.
It's like Shibuya crossing in Japan.
How many people are crossing the road right now?
It actually is.
I think this is a queue.
Can you see it along there?
To get onto the beach.
Yeah.
Hi.
So many people waving.
It'd be terrible to run a viewer over, wouldn't it?
Wow, this is crazy, guys.
I can't even tell you, there must be like
hundreds of thousands of people down here.
This is the bridge that we walked over yesterday,
which is now, oh dear, it's blocked.
That's sensible.
It's become too busy, yeah, go right when you can here.
It's become too busy that they've had to actually
block the bridge where you can kind of see over the sand.
That's actually quite sensible because yesterday,
that bridge was so busy and it was getting
blocked up and clogged.
Yeah, makes sense.
Yeah, that's not good for anyone.
I don't know how we're going to get to see it now.
Let's try, how are we going to park?
I guess we just walk to that crossing.
Really?
Why not?
Is there someone here that can help us?
Okay, we've managed to find a parking space.
The guy that did the parking actually watched our videos,
so that was cool.
And now we are attempting, because this little bridge
is closest here, we've got a little bit of a walk
to get to some sort of opening.
I mean, you can see here, I'll zoom in and show you.
Here is the entrance to the actual beach.
We have a little bit of a walk to try and go
all the way around so we can actually cross the road
and find a way to see the beach.
But I think we've turned this perfectly.
We're trying to stay as wide as possible on the crossing.
This is so busy, I cannot tell you.
Oh my god.
It's really bad a beach.
So here we have the queue going all the way down here.
Wow, we were so lucky yesterday.
I was going to say, now I'm seeing this,
I can't actually believe that we managed
to get on the beach yesterday.
This is thousands of people, this is insane.
I can't believe it.
This would be a really good sunset spot, actually.
This would be really nice.
This is where we watched the sunset before.
You can see we're nearly there.
But I've managed to find myself a spot on the wall,
which isn't too busy.
I've got like, somehow, got some space around me.
But down there, you guys can see it's incredibly busy.
It's crazy.
Same with down this way.
I mean, it is so nice to see so many people out
enjoying the sunset and things.
Obviously you have to watch it with the distancing.
Try and keep your distance from everyone.
Everyone's wearing a mask.
A lot of people in space shields, which is great.
A lot of people vlogging as well.
Everyone wants to be documenting this,
because it's a big thing at the moment.
It's a big thing.
When you see a shot like this,
we could be anywhere with these trees,
this blue sky, and the sunset we're about to watch.
We're gonna do a little Facebook live stream as well.
If you're not following our Facebook page,
put it along here.
Okay, I'm going live.
We're going live.
We are live in three, two.
We are live now.
Oh, we're live now.
It's next to maybe half an hour.
Thanks for having me.
Okay, we are back in the car.
We've actually moved locations.
I think we've hacked it.
We came to a different spot,
which is this spot last time,
to watch an insane sunset.
You get like the best view over Manila Bay
from this exact point.
There's also a restaurant here.
We could get a drink or something.
Sorry, I'm completely talking over you.
Sorry, Josh.
I'm used to it.
You normally talk over me, in all fairness.
But I think we're gonna be able to see the sand from here.
Like looking back as if we're out at sea.
I think we've hacked it.
Oh, okay.
To get my meal.
All right.
And there's not too many people here.
We've got a parking spot.
Yeah, let's go.
Nice and easy.
Let's go.
Mask on.
This is the spot.
Yes, look, we've got our own area here.
Much more chilled here.
People are keeping their distance.
It's nice.
I feel like whispering,
because everyone's so quiet here.
Should we try and go to the restaurant?
Then you get to see the actual sun.
Nice idea.
This is the view that I absolutely love.
If you thought there was drone shots coming just then,
I'm sorry.
It's not our drone.
Someone else's.
All right, now we've got a great shot.
So nice.
The music's so dramatic, isn't it?
Wow.
Such a nice sunset.
Incredible.
Sunset mission accomplished, guys.
That did not disappoint at all.
Not sunset on the beach,
but sunset next to the beach.
But the queues were just insane today.
I was more than happy with that.
That was a better spot to watch it.
You got a huge view.
Met some friendly people, family.
So if you're watching,
hi to you guys.
So nice to meet you.
But we are very, very satisfied.
We're gonna leave the vlog here, guys.
If you did enjoy it today,
please hit the subscribe button.
Just there, the red button.
Please give the video a thumbs up.
That really, really helps us out.
And we hope to see you tomorrow on the channel
for another Daily Juice.
Until then.
Goodbye.
