Why Are We LEAVING?!

Oh sorry, good morning guys. That was hard to stop. Welcome to another daily juice. You join me in this hut hanging off a tree by the ocean. Another beautiful day here in Alaminos. It's actually our, look at that, whoa. This is the way to start the day guys. We've ordered some coffee. We've actually already had our breakfast and sadly we've actually already, oh, I'm wearing my ultra boost. This was not the right choice. Lucy's got the right idea. How nice is this? Very nice. Very windy. Yeah. Very nice. The sea is such a nice color. Look at that. So nice. Insane. But sadly, as I was saying, this is our last day here. We are leaving. We're packing the car up. We've packed our suitcases and we're off. We've got that sad feeling when you're on a vacation. We've got that sad feeling that you used to get as a kid when you go on holiday with your family and then it's like the last day, even like for the last two days, you're counting down. You're like, oh no, I've got to leave in a few days. Our trip this time has sadly come to an end, but we will 100% be back here. We have, I don't know, we were on the way down here. We used Google maps and then we changed it to Waze and Waze was like an hour and a half quicker. So we need to, huh? Three hours quicker. Yeah, it turns out Waze is way better, but we're always on Google maps and you guys are commenting like, no, we're good at Google maps. I get it. I understand it, but we need to figure out the best route back to Manila because it should be, I don't know, like five or six hours, I think. So it's going to be a long drive, but we're going to bring you guys along. It's going to be a six hour vlog today. Imagine if we vlogged the whole day. I've always wanted to do a 24 hour live stream. I've always wanted to say, just put the camera on, stream straight onto YouTube and Facebook or whatever. It's dangerous. It is, but what about all that stuff we say off camera that we don't want people to know about? We are back in the beast guys, the Maxus G10 that we drove down here. I'm just, whoa. I'm just going to reverse it up closer to our room. Oh, that's the idea anyway, but it's big. There's a car in the way. So we can load in our bags and our luggage, but okay, I'm going to have to re-think this. Maneuver with precision and efficiency. Okay, I've calculated this right. Should be perfect. Luz, ride on it. Leave it to me. Well, okay. Would you like to navigate, George? No. Exactly. Okay. So we're just driving back through the very windy roads that lead to the resort and you get this huge view. I think we showed it in the vlog on the way here, but we didn't know what it was at the time. But since being at the resort, they had this information booklet about it, so I can now tell you guys. All the things in the sea are actually cages. There's 750 fishing ... left. Left? Although I'm kind of tempted to go right. It looks cool, but- No, there's a gate. It doesn't look cool. Go left. Power. Power. Yeah, it's these fishing cages. There's 750 of them and in Sewell, which is where we are now, it's like their main thing. Main, what would you call it? Lifestyle. Source of income. Source of income. Yeah, exactly. I was just trying to get some facts on it. Livelihood. I was just trying to get some more facts on it, but my internet's kind of stopped because we're in the middle of nowhere now. So I can't tell you any facts, but they're fishing cages. We have arrived in a town. On the way kind of back through, we wanted to swing by this place and check out this Baywalk. It's in Lingayen. And we've taken a wrong turn. We've chatted to some girls just here and they've told us it's the wrong way. But because we're in this huge van, we've come down this tiny, narrow little road and it's going to be a real struggle. I wonder what I can do. Take it slow. It's going to be a real struggle to get out. I'm hoping I can reverse. I'm going to attempt to- What's that? What's that? It's a sensor. Yeah, I know it's a sensor, but what are you doing? I'm going to swing in here. Okay. Maybe they can help. Oh, she's helping. Too big. Too big. Yes. More? More? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We have made it, guys. We wanted to see this on the way back to Manila. Oh, nice. Really nice. This looks like- Wow, it's right on the beach. It's a cool beach. It's like gray sand. It's a huge beach. Where do we park? Why don't we just cruise along here for a while? Yeah. It looks like- The Baywalk's the other way. It looks like a different country. Is it? Oh, is that the- Oh, that's closed road. Is that the Baywalk? Yeah. Okay. We'll go down here, see what's down this way, and then we'll come back. All right, guys. We're going to try and fly the drone. It did say it's a no-fly zone here. We can't quite figure out why. We can't see any airports or anything. We're not sure if it's just that our app's being funny, but it's pretty cool. Lucy was planning on sitting in the back of the van. We're going to fly the drone. It's a huge, huge beach along here. And if we can't fly the drone, I'll just have to try and show you here. Huge, huge beach, and a huge boardwalk, and a massive, massive long road. You can't actually drive that way. But there's people here. There's people chilling. People buying- People having some food and stuff. Nice spot. Really nice spot. Okay. We're going to fly further down, see if we can take off. Fly? I mean drive. Oh, lovely. Thank you. There you go. Wait. Hold it. Take it back. Take it back. Why? I need to make room in the cup holder. Ah. The order is complete. We just stopped off for some road snacks and some coffee. Making good progress. We're getting on the road. Very, very hot. I'm going to have to get in through the sliding door, because this guy's part's so close, but that's the benefit of a sliding door. Made it. Nice. This is actually a major throwback to Starbucks, because this is where we went after the Mount Pinatubo trek last year, making it juicy on the road 2.0. Ah. And we're back. Memories. Such a nice time to be on the road. Sun is just setting, and I think we've got about two hours left until we're back in BGC, depending on Manila traffic. But today's Saturday, so maybe it'll be better. Maybe we won't hit the rush hour, but it is Manila, so we probably will. But look at this. It's a huge mountain. What mountain's this? Do you know, George? That would be Mount Mayon. It's not. It's not the perfect cone. No, that's an imperfect cone, that one. It's not very nice. Nice ride, though. All right, guys, we're going to get our heads down. We're going to put some music on. We've got our coffee. We've got a clear road. We'll see you back when we're back. Ah, guys, it is always so good. So good to be home. We are back. We had the apartment cleaned just before we came back. We tidied. We've got fresh bedding, so that is good. Before we've been on trips, we've been away, and yeah, we've kind of like left it as a mess. That's rare, though. That is rare. Usually we're quite good. Good to be home. We dropped the... Oh, yeah, this is from too much driving, too much editing. Let me focus first. This is the reason that we stopped going as crazy as we used to go with videos and editing and all that, but I think it's the driving. We've done a lot, a lot of long drives recently, but it's good fun. It's worth it, I think. I got one good eye. In all fairness, though, one of my eyes is still... Like, I can't see much out of it, so one eye is sometimes enough. Okay, no more road trips for a while, guys. We'll change it up a bit. Thanks for watching the vlog today. We are daily... We used to have to check into, like, hotel rooms and stuff, but now we just come back to our own place. Dream. I know, it's so... I know, we'd still be waiting, like, getting our passports and signing things and paying deposits, all this kind of stuff. Now we just get back and we're good. I'm gonna get a haircut tomorrow, I think, because it's got way too long on the sides again. Maybe Monday. We sadly dropped the spaceship back. Thanks so much to Maxis for lending us that G10. Insane vehicle for these couple of days on this road trip. It's such a big vehicle, but it's so nice to drive. It's not van-like. I was just driving down, I looked behind me and started giggling because it was so big, but when you're just driving it, it's very... It feels like a car. It's not like the old vans from, like, 10, 15, 20 years ago, where it really would feel like a big old diesel van. So huge thanks to those guys.
