Good morning guys, welcome to a very special edition of The Daily Juice, because as you're watching this guys, it is Valentine's Day. Happy Valentine's Day, and you can be our Valentine's, you can come along with us. We're trying out a brand new breakfast spot today, St. Louis. We're going to have a romantic day. We're planning on heading somewhere very special a little bit later, so keep watching the vlogs. But for now, we're going to order some breakfast, we're going to get some coffee and we're going to start off. Actually, I need to be transparent. It's the day before Valentine's Day for us, but it's Valentine's Day for you guys watching this. We decided that it's going to be super busy in restaurants and out and about on Valentine's Day, so we're actually having our Valentine's Day the day before. But anyway, welcome to the vlog. Yes, please. One of the avocado toast, please. Do you want to have bacon? Yeah. With bacon. Avocado toast with bacon. Yeah, and then can I get the avocado smoothie bar? Thank you. Cortado, please. All right, the avocado toast is here. It's our first time coming to this place. Very friendly staff, I have to say. Thank you. Thank you very much. Oh, nice. Himalayan. Pink sauce. Pink sauce. Make sure it's not sand. Looks like the pink sand. A little bit of salt and pepper on here. This is actually good because we've, well, if you guys watch, have you done the avocado? I think Lucy's going to film a video soon on her channel about the avocado toast we've been making, which we kind of got from Erwin's video, but I haven't yet found an avocado toast in Manila. And it's on sourdough, my favorite kind of bread, my favorite kind of toast. So let's give it a try right now. Happy Valentine's Day, my dear. See, people say we're not affectionate in vlogs. I know. This is exactly what you wanted. You're just rubbing my makeup off my chin. And this is... Lucy, I can't see you because of your hat. Who are you hiding from? Really can't see you. This is an avocado smoothie bar. And we've got some cheese, some chili flakes. No. I'm joking. We've got some almonds, some chia seeds, some... Lucy, you need to lift your hat up. Goji berries. Sorry. You can't see your eyes. It's not very nice to watch. Some goji berries, some banana with avocado smoothie on the bottom layer. Looks very good. But didn't you tell me I should have only chia seeds that are soaked? Yeah. Because they can expand in your throat. They can. We've hopped in a Grab now and we're heading to Venice Grand Canal Mall because I figured that's the most romantic place in BGC that I can think of. It is actually, isn't it? And guys, we did stop by there the other day for lunch and we saw them setting up some Valentine's things. So, I think Lucy's right. It is the most romantic place we could possibly visit for Valentine's Day. So, even though it's the day before Valentine's Day, I keep forgetting that. But it's our Valentine's Day today. All right, guys. We're at the mall. As you can see, they're already really set up for Valentine's here. Lucy's just had to go to a shop quickly to pick something up. I'm going to quickly... There's people selling roses here and flowers. She took my wallet. I've got 100 pesos on me. Let's see if I can buy her a little something, surprise her. As they're selling loads of flowers, roses here. Oh my God. I don't know what to buy. Okay. I picked it up. 35 pesos. It's an edible flower. I thought they were real roses, but I got there and it's like, what is this? Looked like a candle. It's like, okay, it says on the side, edible flower. So, this is what we've gone for. Let's find her. Let's surprise her. Surprise. It's not real, but you can eat it. That's even better. I know, right? Flowers die. See, look how unreal it looks, but happy Valentine's Day. Don't ever say I'm not romantic. Thank you. See, now this looks like we have flown to Italy for Valentine's Day. Venice. Actually, Venice is romantic, right? I've been to Venice, but not with Lucy. Not with anyone else. Sounds weird, but no, I went with my family. We were very young. Yeah. I just wanted to go and explore on my own, you know? So, I think we're going to stroll around here, stroll around Venice. Namba station. That's where we were in Japan. Namba. Oh yeah. Japanese food here. I think it's not quite dinner time. It's still the afternoon. It's not dinner time yet. So, we're going to maybe get a drink, maybe get a glass of wine or something. I don't know. Something romantic. Sit by the river. They've got a bar here, which I've always liked, which I've always liked the look of. Cool. I know we're going to get comments on this video saying, you guys should have gone on the gondolas. The ultimate romance, but we did do that before. It's pretty expensive to hire a whole boat, and I just don't know if it's worth it, you know? I enjoyed it. I'm joking. I mean the relationship. I'm joking. I'm joking. No, we have done the gondola here. Check back our video to the first time we came here, if you want to see us do that. But I think we're just going to enjoy, wander around, get a drink. Eat my rose. Eat Lucy's flower. Sounded a bit weird. Why do you... I swear every book at the moment has to be a black heart with a B. It does, yeah. Every time. Found a really nice spot right on the canal. Place called... Oh, what is it? Ponte Rialto, which is an Italian restaurant. We have actually been here for lunch before. The food was good. Found a really nice spot right on the canal. We can watch the gondolas go past. Might get a cheeky glass of wine. I said cheap glass of wine. Cheeky glass, not cheap glass. Well, not too expensive. Medium range is good. We've got to save ourselves for the real valentines tomorrow, where we'll probably be editing this video. Yeah, so nothing. A pinot, or a chardonnay, or a sauvignon. Sauvignon. It's not got a G on the end. It's not sauvignon. Sauvignon blanc. Yeah, two glasses of that. Yeah. Sounds wonderful. Guys, this is actually... Well, they do prosecco, which is only a hundred more. I don't really like prosecco that much. I do, but it makes me feel drunk very quickly, and I'm not drunk yet. Yes, not bad. And I don't know, it goes to my head a little bit more easily, but a couple of glasses of wine I can deal with, I think. And guys, this is exciting for us, because this is actually our first valentine's in the Philippines. We're about to crash into this thing. Which is so nice for us, it makes us extra happy on this day, because I don't know, walking around where we've been today, walking around, seeing how valentine's is kind of celebrated and set up, even on the radio, in the Grab they were talking about it. Yeah, true. But in the UK, it's a bit... It's kind of commercialised. Restaurants double their prices for the meals in the evenings. You can't get a table anywhere. And it's very private as well. I feel like people do their own thing, but here it feels like it's shared with lots of people, because there's events, and there's concerts, and there's things going on, and shows, and markets. It seems kind of more chilled, would you say? I'd say it definitely feels more chilled here. And also, if you don't believe in or celebrate valentine's day, that's fine as well, because a lot of people have negative connotations from it, because of the commercialised side of it. But, you know, it's just... But George paid for a rose, so he's been fully dragged into this commercial. Not dragged in. It's going to be delicious. It will be tasty. It'll go perfect with a bottle of wine. Bottle? I thought we said glass. Can we have two glasses of the sauvignon? Yeah. Thank you. Anything else? That's all for now. Thank you. It smells really nice. It smells like a vanilla cake icing. True. Wow. Pure sugar. Weird, actually. It's really hard to eat. It sticks through your mouth. I can't think what the flavor is. Sweet? Not that sweet. It tastes a bit like shortbread. Really? Yeah. Nice. Can I have some? Yes, please. So where the ginormous white Christmas tree thing was on BGC High Street, they've replaced it with this huge red love heart thing. I think it's made of like pretend roses, and people can sit and get pictures. But that's something else we love about BGC, is that there's always like things happening. Like we said at the starting at Forbes Town, there's always stuff on the high street. Whatever's going on, they make an event out of it. So nice. So cool. And like even the street lights around BGC, when it's a red light, it's like a love heart. And then at Christmas, when it was the green light, it was Christmas tree. So it's like, I don't know, it feels like a lot of effort goes in, but it's, I don't know, unusual. It's really nice. Oh, didn't see you there. Hi guys. And we fast forwarded to the next day.
