Bacolod City we're here to visit a charity that we're working with on our upcoming hoodie release this is the hoodie if you saw yesterday's video of us arriving then you will know that we have a brand with on this release is called the calop a foundation they help disadvantaged children across the Philippines so this is them this is their website we got in touch with them a few weeks ago because we knew we wanted to partner with a charity for the upcoming merch Laurens give you guys a little bit more information on how it works the hoodies cost around one thousand three hundred pesos to buy because we're working with merch by for this release as well again we get a 50% cut of that all of our hundred percent of our 50% cut is going towards the charity and on top of that for any sale up until the end of 2019 so get ordering out guys Lisa and I are going to personally match the donation with our own money so if you buy a 30 the full amount is going to go to the charity by the time your money gets to the charity donation has doubled because we're matching it personally we know we've got an amazing audience here amazing community here we wanted to do something good we wanted to do our bit to help a cause here in the Philippines and a country that we're spending so much time there now and this is the best way we could think to do also give you guys some too much and help causes of disadvantaged children the homeless abandoned neglected malnourished physically and sexually abused victims of child labor and trafficking and foundlings of the 1.6 million street children in the philippines 60,000 of prostituted 6 million filipino children are malnourished and the numbers are still increasing every single day every second of every day the child is abused so on our way now to one of the houses where they this particular on where we're going to visit they have 65 children we actually were just shown that they were lucky Christmas this year stuff like shoes and a t-shirt all wrapped up in a nice nice gift one of the things that all we've been pronouncing a slightly wrong as well apologies for that touchy-feely pie yeah we were just shown the last hour or so four or five different videos some of the stories of kids some of the stories that we saw pretty shocking pretty upsetting [Music] you don't why never speak with happen to them it's really eye-opening it up the apart breaking senior emotional we're watching his stories and I'm amazing how the stories of people that were a family that has them because of this foundation some of the really shocking stuff mostly abusers power family the parents so really really yeah really really powerful stuff so we're incredibly happy to be raising awareness for that this foundation it's really not about where's literally it's really not about the hoodie is really not about this it's about helping these kids buying this for them even if you don't want them to be all the details for Cle pyres in the something we could all learn from they get off at 5:00 a.m. they do exercise as soon as they wake up outdoors and then they do some gardening and stuff like that hey and then they go to school at 7:00 7:00 a.m. and then have a sleep in the day and there's quite a structured yeah this guy is a great guitarist any play space as well right drums yeah yeah maybe in the future when you're when you're older you play drums yeah get lessons alright we're continuing the tour now transferring back Oh [Music] so when when will it be finished this is a new building it's gonna replace this next year [Music] excited in a new home the whole thing has been donated the whole project for the new building two stories fully from donations really cool everything's to be transferred from what we've just seen it's gonna be this newer bigger more modern more stable kind of structure and expecting that to be done early or mid next year so we don't actually building it's gonna go to my birthday tickets sweet lovely kids [Music] okay we just got back to our apartment and had a quick shower head to wet hair unpacked our staff and now we're just in bed thinking about today reflecting on the emotional day it's been a day we'll remember forever it's been extremely emotional I've been wanting to pick up the camera all day and just film this clip at all about how it's meant how we're feeling and how I don't know it's bit I didn't want to be I felt like I had a big lump in my throat every time I tried to speak on camera today I felt like I wanted to cry not both kind of too so I'm really struggling to get my words out because this is hard to say but there's two sides to it there's the sadness there's part eight there's a pain you feel for these poor poor children but then there's also the tears of happiness of how happy they are now how amazing this charity is and just it's just I think if you go but you go about your day you you get annoyed when someone cuts you up when you're driving along you get annoyed when they don't have your favorite fruit in the supermarket and these kids have just they have nothing when they when they grow up they have nothing and we're moaning about little things like that all they want is family although one it's a parent that would take care of them that will look after them it gives you a huge amount of perspective on life it makes you appreciate your family it makes you appreciate having people that love you and care for you I said on my Instagram earlier if you've got a family member that you can tell you love right now if you can go up to a family member right now and give them a hug tell them you love them send them a text message say how much you appreciate them do it because we need to be more grateful and it's just really touched touch home today there was there was one boy in particular that had only been and taken from the streets one month prior and when everyone's having lunch he was just sat in the corner on his own on a separate table crying his eyes out not used to the situation and apparently you kept wanting to go back to the street because that's all he knows and this is such an unusual and uncomfortable situation for him to be in around all these kids and we know that overtime will get better he'll make more friends here and the kids are so so welcoming and we were being toured around and he started following us and and he started chatting with us and he kind of became more confident as a day went on and you can just see he's gonna grow up to be such an amazing look young man you little boy for now but it's just I think I'm so glad we made the decision to go today you read stuff online you think all that sounds amazing that charity but when you actually go when you experience it firsthand we walked in and them kids were just performing twice I was singing us a song and I was just taken aback by how happy they seemed and how that the friendship and there was such a nice atmosphere today the whole area the school everything was just so special and like I said it makes you feel like you shouldn't moan about the little things in life that you shouldn't take things for granted that you should appreciate everything family is everything and some people don't have family or their family abuse and they neglect them they it's just so bad it's so bad some of the things we're hearing today we know this happens all around the world not just in the Philippines but having spent so much time here now and being able to give back to the people in this country is something we wanted to do for a while now and I think we've really really chosen a great charity for that so thank you so much to Kili pie today for showing us around and for letting us show you guys where your donations will be going and our donations as well to be more specific I don't know if George said this earlier but the cut down the middle with merch buying us is 50/50 all 50 percents going to the charity as well as
