We are MOVING To Manila! Philippines is HOME!

we're moving to the Philippine [Music] nothing sir good morning guys from BDC and manila morning we are we've been weird if you saw yesterday's video we flew from London Heathrow to Manila last night we landed at about 6 p.m. Manila time try to sleep yeah woke up every hour and it's now like 6 a.m. and we're out and about some coffee we can't get back to sleep look very very delirious but you guys have already seen the title of this video we will explain everything we will explain everything but first we need to grab some breakfast and some coffee target our heads in order a little bit then we'll sit down have a chat with you guys explain to you exactly what's going on so this time we're staying in BGC instead of Makati like we normally do and that is for a very important reason which again I can't say anything for coffee kena I've got I've got a little bit of tension in the room so we're heading now to fire visit Toby's we've never been to the beach I think in this building here by gonna have to get into it it said it's open on here the fingers crossed stab but Manila as a wave nil is alive if it's 6:00 in the morning and everything's crazy and people around about there's traffic everywhere of course already everyone gets up super early here they fits back really good you might be thinking George Lucy is this your new morning regime up and out showered six o'clock alpha breakfast no probably not it's just it's just that to us it feels like the afternoon already [Music] [Music] grab a table here this this is a Cortado delicious how we never had this meal in Toby's boots I do when they have it less bacon and I went for nah that's my spare poached egg because no spare take a little bit extra extra pouch - look at this avocado toast with like bacon and stuff delicious I need please I suppose it's tiny to explain to you I am pitch black right well that was going to be a lovely shot but instead I'll put you here I don't know how to explain to you what all right all right guys you've already seen the title of the video but we are excited to announce that we're moving to the Philippines it's where breeze oh well we're here we're already here but we haven't not here yet this it like not this this is this this is an Airbnb but we are officially we've decided we're making this place our home where we imagine if like one year ago when we first flew up to Asia yeah okay you're gonna move to Manila in a year really crazy we're very very very excited we're searching for a place right now where we've actually got some viewings to the media yeah yeah we've got some viewings in half an hour and then some more this afternoon and we'll show you them as well in tomorrow's video and we'll show you around up what our options are yeah so you guys will see all the places we're looking at and you can put your opinions in the comments the one I wanted to be like a two-way thing we are incredibly excited we've been speaking in blogs for a while now about getting a base here in the Philippines and in Manila especially we're currently looking in the BGC area because it's all kind of favorite area here when we were in the taxi driving here last night it felt really weird because although where we're staying now isn't where we're going to be living it was kind of like as I know when we're going to the city that we're going to be having they sinned I mean haven't had a face for a whole year now a little thing popped up on my facebook earlier which was one year yesterday of when we moved up a flat in the UK so we've literally not had like a home base year which is Matt just hopping around hotels and obviously with absolutely loved it really enjoyed it but it does get exhausting we haven't had more than two pairs of shoes with us like a whole year and like even clothes and stuff we were able to bring more out with us this time because we know that we can hang stuff yeah even having like a sofa to sit on and then having the choice when we go on trips like so we had to pack a small bag of staff yeah instead of having to lug our whole lives around with us everywhere we go like it's gonna change the game definitely we've known we've wanted to do this for a long time and yeah we were away we had time to think about it and you search some options and stuff like that and we're doing it it's incredibly exciting we have been speaking about it for a while and it's happening yes boiling this air B&B it looks lovely but it doesn't he doesn't make much sense like it's virtual is an air conditioning unit upstairs but nothing down to the AC down this down here you can't spend time you can't sit and enjoy the downstairs Eric's it's too hot and you go upstairs and it's too cold so come through there all right we've travelled around many many countries in Southeast Asia we could have chosen we could also we could have chosen any of them for like a face as you guys know the Philippines has become already become like a second home to us we have a huge community of people from the Philippines or Filipino who are living abroad watching our videos and commenting interact and everything we do every time like we've gone from laser countries and back through Manila to either say a mini little gross immerse the Philippines we feel like we travel out Philippines in the Philippines quite regularly yeah and every time we do especially the soldier pan trick to Manila yeah although we were just staying in a motel it does feel like home already we walk around we know that place we know the people in different shops and restaurants it feels just so friendly and I don't notice but it's a weird like the darkest place it is it makes me feel happy when we're driving around in other cities like getting taxes placed as it feels like I don't know a new thing but because we've spent so much time here when we're just driving around here it just it already feels like a second home to us so yeah there's loads loads and those reasons why we've chosen Manila as a base which we'll talk about future videos for the next week or so in the blogs it's gonna be ups moving in finding a place we need to sort like furniture or all the things that come with with a move we're going to bring you guys along every step of the way but I do think we should probably give everyone a juicy girlfriend of this Airbnb to start the new was fine and the hot water wasn't working so we're like can you come and fix hot water they've sent someone today problem nearly solved if they fix it they managed to fix it but we told them we were going out this is where it gets interesting we told them we were going out today at specific times and that if they wanted to come and fix the shower whilst we were out that's totally cool that's fine we trust you to do that you're helping us out by fixing it even though it should be done in the first place bla bla bla anyway we happen to be back here at a time when we said we were going to be out and suddenly I am literally sat there Lucy's upstairs naked Lucy was upstairs wearing underwear but she was hot I was sat there working on the laptop and so I hear this like door opening I'm like okay that must be the maintenance that must be the plumber but no I answer the door and they were like oh hi we're here for a viewing there's like sick yeah I was like for tonight as like mourn that it's like six people at the door here for reviewing and I was like hmm are you maintenance no no haver viewing this as a child now I think it's the wrong place whatever then I'll know I know the owner he said the owner's names I was lucky do know the owner they got the owner on the phone because I wasn't like letting them in like we've paid for a private air B&B where the tenants in the time that we've paid for that slot I don't think they should and this well want your opinion like do you think that so Kayla like they didn't knock there were just hundreds ain't gonna let themselves in all our stuffs at like camera gear laptops phones like Lucy was upstairs not wearing any clothes but because she just had a shower yeah exactly the so anyway the only comes on the phone and she's like I'm so sorry I thought it was for next week and I was like sounds it to me it sounded like they knew we were gonna be out this place is for sale the owners trying to sell it so there are ancient viewings sounded like they knew we were out so they were trying to sneak in a sneaky viewing whilst we had our Airbnb booking now to me I don't know guys let me know what do you think I don't think that's right because it's for the time we paid for it we shouldn't expect strangers to be in there walking around with all your stuff I think that's totally unacceptable comment below let me know what you think I'm not sure on it anyway we didn't let them in for the viewing she said on the phone see like as they're there do you mind if they do ever quit around I was like no sorry yeah yeah so we were already like in a bit of a bad mood about this place because there was no towels when we got here we wanted a shower after 13 hour flight no hot water so let's have a cold shower they did bring towels eventually the air conditioning doesn't work very well it's only one small unit in the bedroom upstairs said this downstairs area gets really hot it was like a cheapy like quick fix but we we knew we had this big flight so we kind of treat ourselves a bit like let's get a really nice place so that we can just chill out while we're here looking for apartments and like really be able to relax after such a long flight and the time difference so I think we were just kind of if we'd paid like a really small amount and these problems were happening we'd have been like it is what it is you pay for you get but because they branded as his luxurious loft and it was all like expensive it wasn't much but it was quite expensive it was expensive it was like about 400 pounds for one week yeah so yeah it's a bit early but I'm contacting a B&B now get in there yes we didn't eat it very yeah okay all right let's go and then guys I am gonna I don't know where the best massage places in VGC but have another massage for like six weeks been waiting to get back here because I took expensive an England and they're better here anyway so I definitely think that can be on the agenda for this evening just got back to our B&B and George has headed out for a massage how lovely and but I've just come back to get some work done and to be honest if you have a bit of a chill because I'm feeling weird but we just from the jetlag not from being apartments but we just saw the final viewing for today and we'll show you in tomorrow's vlog what we thought and what are what we actually whether or not we
