Good morning guys, welcome to another daily juice.
We're at Kuala Lumpur airport today, heading back to Manila.
We're super excited to get back to Manila, it kind of feels like we're going home.
We've spent so much time in the Philippines that it feels like every time we go back that
we're going back to our home.
Especially Manila.
Definitely.
So we're very excited to get back.
Today's a bit of a travel day for us so we thought before we arrive in Manila and tell
you a bit more why we're going back to the Philippines, we thought we'd show you what
we got up to yesterday.
Good morning guys, literally woken up about three minutes ago.
Jumped straight out of bed, woken up to this incredible view and this morning I'm running
straight off to the gym.
Journey from this apartment to the gym is one floor.
It's just literally right above me so there was no excuses today.
So I'm literally going to do a 10-15 minute run before breakfast, before coffee, wake
myself up.
This will be the third or fourth day in a row that I'm going to the gym so we're doing it.
Good morning guys.
I sound awful don't I?
You join me this morning with my three drinks, my coffee, my orange juice and my water.
This morning we've had a nice breakfast here at...
Nuts.
I don't have any nuts.
They're your nuts.
Oh yeah.
We're at Landon Place again this morning.
We've stayed in for the last few days in Kuala Lumpur and we're actually leaving tomorrow
to fly to Manila.
We've absolutely loved staying here haven't we?
It's been one of our favourite places we've ever stayed and just having our own space
in this apartment has been crazy.
First things first this morning, when we wanted to go and see the Petronas Towers, Twin Towers,
yesterday, again it started to rain.
It seems that every day here it's kind of sunny, cloudy in the morning and then afternoon
awful thunderstorm, evening rain.
It seems to just get really bad after three o'clock or something doesn't it?
We're going to head out this morning, sightseeing in the morning and then do work in the afternoon
so like switch it around a little bit to give ourselves the best chance with the weather.
And then hopefully tonight, hopefully if I'm feeling a little bit better, we're going to
try and check out some of the rooftop bars in Kuala Lumpur because as it's a big city
there's a lot of rooftop bars that are very well known.
There's one that's on a helipad, a helipad by day and a bar by night which is crazy.
There's one called Vertigo I think, which loads of you guys have messaged me on Instagram
to go and visit.
Make sure you follow us on Instagram if you're not already.
So it's going to be a nice way to sort of round off the Malaysia trip.
We've loved seeing a new place, loved the food too, loved exploring a little bit but
we're very, very, very excited to head back to the Philippines.
We've got some exciting stuff happening in Manila when we get back.
Sorry if you can't understand me today.
Firstly I speak too fast and secondly I've got a cold.
The second we stepped outside, a massive, massive crack of thunder and the slight spit of rain
but luckily Lucy bought the umbrella.
So we're determined to get out and see these towers.
We've been trying for like three days.
Can you hear that?
We've come for some lunch now.
It's so loud.
Thankfully we got indoors just in time but let me turn the camera around and show you this rain.
We've actually come to a place called Luce.
Like me.
Opened my own restaurant here.
Ordered some pizzas.
You ordered one for like half calzone right?
Is it like pizza and calzone in one?
I don't know how it's going to come.
I think so.
My mum's got like a pizza with like cheese and salami and stuff.
It looks really good.
They brought out this bread as well with oil and vinegar and it's so tasty.
Oh that's the best combination.
So good.
That looks great hun.
Mine looks and smells like so good and so greasy.
Can't hear you because of the rain.
This smell.
If you could smell this you'd be really happy.
Good news.
We have made it to the towers.
And it's not raining that much.
Are you ready for a little lean?
Wrong one.
Oh wait.
There's one.
There's the other one.
Oh no.
Is that just one?
Round the corner.
Ok.
Alright.
We'll show you this properly round the corner.
Super busy.
Loads of people come here just to take selfies with the building apparently.
Like us.
So apparently tower one is fully occupied by Petronas, the oil company.
And then tower two is loads of different businesses like Microsoft, IBM.
Loads of different ones.
Barclays, Capital.
Can't remember any others.
But it's kind of cool.
They're basically just office buildings.
But I think it'd be cool to work up there.
I don't know how many floors there are but it must be a very nice view from the top.
I don't know what our fascination with big buildings is.
Like humans in general.
I don't know why.
There's so many.
Sorry.
So many people here just to take photos and stuff.
Yep.
Yeah.
I don't know what it is but big buildings are cool for some reason.
Woah.
That.
Ok.
We've seen these from views we've had in hotels and stuff.
Wow.
Ok.
Close up.
This is really cool.
I can't quite believe how many people come out just to take photos and selfies.
But I guess it's a bit like in London Buckingham Palace.
Buckingham.
Buckingham Palace.
Buckingham.
True.
There's always people outside the palace to take photos and stuff.
It's so cool though.
I think it's on the 48th floor or something.
There's like a little bridge that connects.
We're staying on the 46th.
That's loose.
We are.
That is not a little bridge is it?
So obviously where we're staying we're on the 46th floor.
I don't know why I said obviously.
That's not obvious.
Where we're staying we're on the 46th floor and that's like got a crazy view in it.
It's super high.
That bridge is on the 46th floor and then look how much higher it goes.
It's like four times the height of where we're staying.
And think about how high up that feels right?
Crazy.
So cool.
And these are still the tallest twin towers in the world.
Do you hear that guys?
That's rain.
That is definitely, definitely rain.
Kind of ruining our plans again slightly.
We've been super.
Why is it raining here so much?
I know.
We've been super unlucky with the weather which makes vlogging difficult because cameras
and water don't mix too well funnily enough.
We have a GoPro.
This is a bad excuse.
Oh yeah.
Just GoPro it.
Oops.
How nice does this look?
Nice isn't it?
Lovely.
What are you on about?
I know.
I look like a worm don't I?
You are a worm.
So yeah guys the plan was or kind of still is we're not sure to go and check out Rooftop
Bar or two but oh these windows open by the way.
Let's have a look.
Yeah that's.
Don't hold the door.
That's definitely rain.
So we have a few options left.
We can either, we can either try and go to some rooftop bars but we're going to get wet
and rainy.
We can check out the bar on the roof of this building but also going to get wet.
This is where I wish vlogs were like live so we could quickly do a little poll and you
guys could just vote.
Maybe they'll do that in the future.
Oh yeah.
Instagram stories.
Which brings us back to the present moment.
Back to today.
Our flight has been delayed sadly by about one hour which actually gives us time to buy
some new spray.
You have only £10 to spend because I bought a new one the other day for £10.
Okay fair enough.
This is what I always used to have.
Have a bit of that.
Oh yeah.
I don't like it.
This was my classic.
No it wasn't.
Back home.
Yeah it was.
Are you sure?
Had this for months and months and months.
No there's a better one we liked.
What one was it?
Moses.
No it was George George.
Invictus.
That was really nice.
I had Invictus years ago.
No that was with me.
You're getting your sprays confused.
Anyway we've got a couple of hours here to kill at the airport then we'll be boarding
the flight then we'll be in Manila late tonight.
Very late.
Boarding, boarding, boarding, boarding.
No more delays.
Yeah we were just saying to each other that we're very excited to be back in the Philippines.
The reason we're going back, we've got some exciting stuff going on in Manila for a couple
of days and then we're going to explore some new places which we still haven't properly
planned yet.
We've got a few, maybe come again in a couple of minutes, maybe go home.
Got a few ideas.
Thank you.
We really enjoyed our Malaysia trip didn't we?
We did.
But we were saying just now it's so good to be going back to the Philippines.
We've spent so much time there now that it does feel like a second home to us.
We're excited to get back.
We've got our favourite restaurant spots, favourite coffee spots.
We've already got our globe sim cards we're going to put back in our phones.
Still got pesos in my wallet currency.
It just kind of feels like we feel far more at home there than any other country we've
travelled to so far.
I suppose because we've spent so much time there now.
The country and the people have shown us a lot of love and support through the videos
as well.
But for now we've got a four hour flight.
It's kind of annoying but never mind.
Especially with the one hour delay.
I think we'll get a meal on this flight.
Tyler?
It's a little bit hot.
It is warm isn't it?
Yeah.
Why is there so much fish on this plane?
And we are back in Manila just like that.
The flight was good.
Nice and comfortable.
Lucy and I had a glass of wine each.
Some peanuts.
Two glasses of wine each.
Yeah they came around and gave us free refills which was cool.
Super excited to be back in the Philippines.
We're very very excited for the next couple of weeks.
As soon as we stepped off the plane one of the guys working at the airport was like
I watch your videos every day.
Welcome back.
Which was such a nice warm welcome.
We said it earlier but honestly we feel such a connection to the Philippines now.
Ignore this.
Oh Lucy that's horrible.
Ignore this.
That is my underwear hanging on the TV.
I had a shower.
My suitcase got wet.
It doesn't matter.
So we are super excited to be back.
We hope you're looking forward to daily Philippines vlogs.
We will catch you guys in tomorrow's video.
Don't forget merch is available on the link below in the description.
Subscribe if you're new.
Give it a thumbs up if you enjoyed it.
And we'll see you.
And we'll see my underwear.
Tomorrow.
Wait.
Oh go on then.
Oh.
