Insane Luxury Apartment In Kuala Lumpur! View Of Petronas Towers From Bed?!

Good morning. I've definitely just woken up. I wear full clothes to bed. I wear a full face of makeup to bed. And I don't move in my sleep. So you see how perfectly this looks? Yep, just woken up. The first thing I need to do today is show you this view. But, I don't need to leave my bed to do this. Now we have coffee, we can start the day. Now, we thought for today's Juicy Vlog Room Tour, as we are in a luxury location, luxury apartment, we'd do things a bit more classy, a bit more classic, a bit more like this. So guys, welcome to the Juicy Vlog Room Tour. So of course, I must now have a much more luxurious voice. Although I have a cold, so I probably just sound a bit nasally. We start with the kitchen, this amazing kitchen. The best thing about this place is the views. And you have a view of the kitchen, the lounge, and the bedroom, which is crazy. There's some nice fruit here for us to help ourselves to. Obviously, the beautiful coffee machine that I made a complete mess of about five minutes ago. Oh, wait, wait, wait. That wasn't luxurious enough, George. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Do you know what's really luxurious about this place? What's that? Press that button. This? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. If you don't want to see this, you're washing up, watch this. It's so funny. How cool is that? How would you want to see your sink? Why would you want to see your sink? True. Yes. Oh no, the tea towel's going to get stuck. Now that is luxurious. Now we have the lounge, the lovely lounge. There's a TV on the wall, nice and big. It pulls out, so when you're sat on the sofa here, nice angle, and you can actually watch TV from this nice corner sofa that leads nicely into the corner window just here that you've already seen. I love that the glass is just against another piece of glass, and it's not got window frames and stuff. It's so cool. You can literally stand on the edge of this, and it feels like you're on the edge of a building. Well, it doesn't feel like you are. You are, yeah. It's crazy. It's actually pretty scary. It's quite scary. This is the edge of the building, the actual corner. It's mad. Look at this view. Incredible. Then we have the bedroom, which of course has a nice big bed. We woke up this morning with this crazy view. It's so nice. Last night, the tower just here glows in all these different colors, so the room was just changing color every few seconds. It's so nice. The name of this apartment, this sort of complex, is Lantern Place. There's a link below if you do want to stay here. If you're staying in Kuala Lumpur, you have to book a night here. It's just incredible. We're on the 46th floor, and I think we had breakfast earlier in the 48th floor, and I think that's the top. So we're one of the highest ones. It's mental, honestly. It's such a cool view. There was a storm here last night, and you can just see. I know, obviously, rain is much higher up than this, but being this high up, seeing all the rainfall, I don't know, it's really cool. It was so cool. All the lightning, and a huge thank you to Lantern Place. It's like a service department, and you can stay here. They've kindly given us three nights to stay here, which is really cool. I know what I haven't done. No, you can't do that in today's. It's too luxurious. Do a luxurious roll. It needs to be in slow motion. Okay. So honestly, guys, this is making us hungry for apartment life. We were saying yesterday we were sitting on the sofa, and we were enjoying this place, and we could even do some laundry here ourselves. They've got a washing machine and a dryer. We were saying how cool it would be to have a base somewhere for our travels, somewhere we could come back to have a bit more of a home set up. We've said it before in videos. If we do do that, it's definitely, definitely going to be Manila in the Philippines, because we want to spend more time in the Philippines. We absolutely love it there, and we know that Manila would be the perfect place to base ourselves for more traveling, more Philippines traveling, more Asia traveling. So, yes, staying here has definitely kind of confirmed that. We would definitely love that. We definitely 100% want a place with a view. Can you say definitely any more times in one sentence? I could try. They even give you fruit here, like this apple. It looks like the Sleeping Beauty apple. I thought it was plastic when I first looked at it. I thought it was decoration. It's so perfect. So today, we are basically doing a one-day extravaganza Kuala Lumpur thing. Because there's sun. There's sun. It was raining yesterday. There's three or four things that we want to do today. So it's going to be a jam-packed vlog. What? Rain's coming. We better get outside. It's going to be a full, packed, fun vlog. Hopefully. No, Lucy, it will be. If it rains, it's not going to be. We'll do it anyway. Which is a shame, because then we have to come back to this apartment and sit on the sofa and eat this. No, don't show that. We're supposed to be healthy. There's a gym on the 48th floor, which we're going to visit later on this evening as well, because we said we're going to start filming more of our workouts, so we are held accountable to actually working out. We're coming up to our last couple of days in Malaysia. We head back to the Philippines, back to Manila in two days. Very, very excited. We've got some fun stuff going on in Manila at first, and then we're going to head somewhere else, try and get a last bit of an island-y, beachy vibe before rainy season. But for today, more exploring. Let's go. Guys, something very exciting just happened. I just got a little notification from Instagram. Can you see it? Just been verified on Instagram, which is crazy. That's so cool. I'm quite excited for you. Put lipstick on for the first time in forever. What do you think? I think it's going to annoy me, because it will go on my teeth all day. We actually decided to hop out of the Grab on the way to these caves, because as you can see here, there is an incredible amount of traffic. So we're going to just walk up to the entrance here, and it looks like there's a lot of people. This is probably, would you say it's one of the main tourist attractions in Kuala Lumpur? I used to get really, really bad hay fever a couple of years ago, and my nose, just walking past those flowers, oh, my eyes. Haven't had it for so long, but I've obviously still got it. I just got hay fever. All itchies from walking past those flowers. Well, this is crazy busy. I think it's a holiday here today. So it's tourists and locals coming here. Wow, super busy. Let's get inside, let's have a look, let's see what's going on. It is insanely busy here. But it's so, so cool. Look up here, look at this. It goes right up into the caves, into the mountain. It's kind of, the steps are kind of built right into it. Wow, it's incredible. Simple. There's also loads of pigeons here randomly. Very random. The cave looks kind of like Thailand, I guess we're really close to Thailand-ish. It looks kind of like the Thailand islands, when it's all like, almost like it's dropping down, and you've got all the green on top and stuff. And then so many bright colours with this temple there as well. I'm not sure what this is. I think it must be a temple as well. It's so beautiful though. So nice. So these are the steps, we just climbed a little bit. Everyone coming down is drenched in sweat. It's a hot day today. It's a long way up and a long way down. But it does look very, very cool. Whoa, can you hear that? Did you hear that? That's crazy. So the plan now is, before it starts raining, hop in another Grab and head to the Twin Towers, the Petronas Towers. We've only really seen them from high up in the views. From that first hotel we were in, had an incredible view of the towers. From Dinner in the Sky we saw them, and from our current apartment that we're staying in. They look really cool. But we want to go and see them close. Lucy was telling me that they, at one point, were the tallest building in the world, right? I think until like 2003 or 2006. And they're still the tallest Twin Towers in the world. Tallest Twin Towers in the world. So we're going to go and see them close up, and hopefully find some lunch around there too. Oh really? Yay! On vacation? Yeah. Nice, enjoy. Really? Bye. Someone was waving their window up. I've never met anyone like that before, like through a car. I'm not feeling too good at the moment, guys. George is definitely giving me his cold. So I feel like my eyes are constantly like half open, like I've been stung by a bee. And I'm a bit bunged up. So on the way back, grabbed a Boost Juice. Boost Juice. With loads of like vegetables in. Didn't taste that great, but that's the best kind of juice I like, because then, you know, it's doing good things. And I saw the fresh vegetables that the lady was putting into it, and there's orange juice in it as well, which is good. Oranges are very good for colds. And you're meant to feed a cold, so I think I need to eat some more. Oh, so that's why you bought these, is it? I had some the other day, and they're really nice. I think we're going to go to the gym in a bit, but we've got some emails to do, and we just walked back into the apartment, and we both looked at each other like, oh, this is nice, isn't it? Like having our own little space. Not walking back into a hotel room, but walking back and just sort of dumping our stuff in the kitchen. It's just really weird, isn't it? It's like, you want a drink? I put the dryer on. We haven't had something like this for close to a year since we left our own apartment in August last year. Are you having coffee? Yeah, I'm having coffee. So more and more, we keep thinking how cool it might be to actually get an apartment. Also, guys, comment below if you think it would be cool if we did get a base somewhere. We've got like a little apartment, a little juicy pad. It's on our minds a bit more right now. Yeah, agreed. Back from the gym. That was a good gym session. We've got a gym here at Lanson Place. Check them out. They've got places all over the world, I believe. So we were thinking of heading out this evening to, let's put you guys here, to like a street foodie kind of area. We know it's probably good here as well, but Lucy's also not feeling too good. Lucy's feeling a bit poorly, a bit on the ill side, a bit on the coldy side. So I think we're going to stay in, make the most of the apartment and order some food. What do you feel like, actually? I realised my face was a little bit dark because I have my hat on front waist, so I've twisted it around. So we're going to use Grab and try and get some, camera did not like that, and try and get some food delivered and just chill here because we've got a sofa and we never have a sofa. It's so exciting. Okay, so what kind of food do you feel like, Lucy? You're ill, so you need something. Okay, when you're ill, you either need something healthy to get you better. I had that already. Or you need something naughty to make you feel better in your mind and just give you a treat. Naughty food doesn't make me feel better in my mind. So you want health? No. So you want somewhere in the middle? Spicy. So do I just, you want spicy food? So do I just press food? I've never actually done this. You always order the food. London Sandwich Co. Why do you want a sandwich? I don't, I'm just surprised that's on there. What can you do? You can search, right? I fancy curry. Do you want Indian? Our food has arrived, but we're not sure whose curry is whose. Lucy's ordered a vindaloo, and I definitely don't want a vindaloo. I can't tell, but I've got a cold, so can you try that one? Because I don't want to give you it. Okay. Just try this bit on the fork. If it's spicy, I'm sorry. Okay. It's only a tiny bit of sauce, so don't be dramatic. Any spice at all? Yeah, that's yours. Oh no, yours is spicy too then. Really? Yeah. Oh, Lucy, that is so spicy. That's a tiny bit of sauce. Oh no, you told me it wouldn't be that bad. So guys, we're going to have our takeaway now. Maybe watch Game of Thrones, or possibly watch Love Island. Love Island, if you're not watching from the UK, and you don't know what Love Island is, it's a show in the UK, like a reality TV show, and one of my sister's friends is actually on it, so we want to watch that. Love Island or Game of Thrones? Game of Thrones. Okay, Game of Thrones, then Love Island after, if we're still awake. All right. No, it's seriously as spicy. Wait, have I just swapped them back? Try it. I think I just swapped them back. Yeah, that's yours. Oh. This is yours. Sorry. Get off my mild curry. It's not mild. So anyway, guys, we've gone for some, a chicken curry each. Lucy's very spicy. I'm scared now. It smells spicy. I can't really smell. Maybe this won't be as spicy. No, try some, seriously. I can't really taste it. That's good, then. It'll get rid of your cold. No, it's nice. I mean, I've only tried the end of the fork. I'll come back to you in 10 minutes. Yeah, it's fine. I'll be streaming. Finished dinner, and just had a shower. Felt like I needed a shower after that. Can I have a bite? We just ate a lot of food. Lucy did really well with the vindaloo. I'm so full. Very proud of you. Thanks. She was, halfway through, she was like, this is so spicy. I don't know if I can finish it. But it wasn't the spiciest you ever had, was it? Nah. Had worse. Well, not worse. I like spicy, but I don't know. Cool. Good. OK. We are watching Game of Thrones now. This has been so, so nice for us, having this apartment for the last couple of days. We've got one more night here tomorrow night, then we fly back to Manila. We're excited to get back to Manila. You will see why in the vlogs. It's this video on Facebook where, doesn't that look like frozen water, right? Yes. But it's actually flowing. Oh, I've heard of this. This looks like frozen stuff's coming out of it, right? Then you can see it all making- It is actually all- Yeah, but it looks completely solid. So, it's an optical illusion. What? But it's completely solid, and it's about, I was looking it up. You can see here on this graph, the laminar flow is a straight line, and the turbulent flow, I guess, is kind of like that. Cool. I guess, but it's really interesting. Yeah, that's awesome.
