Baguio Has CHANGED US! Emotional Evening With Filipino Friends

[Music] good morning guys our first morning in Baguio waking up a little bit later because we had quite a long day yesterday very very tiring but a load of fun we've come down now and Lisi has made us all breakfast why thank you very much this looks amazing we got some oatmeal with honey and almonds very nice there's a coffee on the way Monta guys my and just out here we have a little balcony area the most incredible view look at this look at this waking up to the mountains it's way cooler up here than it was in Manila I'm excited for another day of exploring welcome to the vlog [Music] big work session here this morning bedding up yesterday's vlog and some Instagram photos and then we're going to go and explore there's also in Anytime Fitness here in Baguio and I really really want to keep up my gym routine so my god look at that later - good morning guys we've just finished off all the editing it's very bright it's gotten hot actually it was really cold out here earlier we've just finished up we'll be editing for last night's vlog which was the Pinatubo track and it's taken us like quite a long time to edit because we just got so much footage and it was such such a good day and we're down for the instagrams and make sure they're following us on Instagram if you're not already but it's just one of them days where you're like yeah I'm gonna remember this for a very long time it's just so much fun like for smiling faces all day we're gonna head out for some lunch now at a place called cafe by the ruins which was actually recommended by the people who owned this place and I know he said it in yesterday's video we're gonna link this place down below if you guys want to come and stay here we'll do a tour later I'm sure but it's just so kind of them they leave she sent us a message and said I know you're heading up north if you're in Baguio feel free to stay at my place and it's just so kind it just baffles me how kind and generous Filipinos are people would dis message you and be like do you understand my house without you asking like it's it's so kind of genuine and we seriously appreciate that and the same as last night as well when we stayed at Alvin and Angie's place for the that a hike they were just such kind people and I think the difference is that you don't need to ask for the help there does nice people they want to help you right let's get on with this today it's a very nice sunny day but it's incredible view of Baguio just behind us I'm sure Georgia shown you this already but it's just absolutely epic oh and make sure you subscribe to the we can't believe this is like a 1.4 liter engine it's incredibly powerful it's got the turbo charger as well we'll offer some food finally we've all we've all been working this morning and very productive got a lot done this is crazy the Philippines just so varied we this is why we loved our North Road trip last time and that's why we've come back because we only did of I think four days how chilly it is here it's hard to know what to get around means everything looks so cool because you just look out everywhere you get is a view because it would like to announcing to you do it now or she went oh we'll wait but we are officially [Music] yeah really nice but I'm very different from Manila that was like really hot and yesterday was hot because we were driving back throwing back around midday and it was like sand reflecting on the shore and it was really really hot so sorry thermo picking up some sand so it classified by the ruins now we've lost smelly and Mike but we're super hungry and we can order all the food we are incredibly hungry I need some chicken adobo maybe some rice some more chicken maybe some pork maybe a bit more rice maybe some spring rolls [Music] look at this we could buy wine for a bonfire [Music] this place looks really really nice just Mike ordering his coffee exactly how he wants it yeah we were in little wave in Boracay and we didn't know the history of my Twitter's coffee that they had a coffee shop and even so oh I'll make yours below and in so doing this last night it's amazing yet neither [Music] [Music] so this evening we're going to try and create a bonfire however there may have been a little bit miscommunication Wilshire the lady who came and dropped our water this morning said they've got basketball courts I think tennis courts and a place where we can have a bonfire but the message I read said there's a clubhouse with a fireplace so it's either we've misunderstood or there's both we don't know but it'd be so cool if we can have a little bonfire this evening maybe buy some bread from here perhaps some wine and just kind of relax in the back yo life by the way since we were last here faggio seems to have a bit of an Internet upgrade our apartment has really quick Wi-Fi so they perfect for uploading and then this place we walked in and might give a speed test knows like 100 Meg [Music] maybe goats cheese physiography it's so good this already warm its most amazing it's like brioche fools of the bunker so you had the nice filet mignon or [Music] as this place is called cafe by the ruins we wondered where the ruins were so he asks and they told us right here so this cafe has actually been built within the ruins of this old building I don't we need to ask what it actually was but so cool this is a great find we're definitely gonna come here again might come for breakfast tomorrow so thanks so much for recommending us yeah this could be our new Baguio spots it's gotta be some that going all over this place so when we asked for bag your recommendations are later you guys said [Music] good so we're gonna head there now but need to do something important something very important first but I need everyone guys well anyway I'm still editing up instagrams from yesterday's hike I got 500 photos done 63 to put into my stead and I'm trying to slip down now normally I pick like a few edit them up and then want for editing good guys guys I need you this is a very very important moment so this could be the most important part of today's vlog we have a name for the car so after many many comments many messages many suggestions let me at least give credit to the person yeah creatively critically we have a name for the new car and he said the new wrote cheer if we're dropping yes it's great you have to forget about Roachy this time as sad as it is so the new name we can't announce fill you car by a person cool so an Instagram username is ma thoughts and yells oh man Wow nine nine nine fifth yeah man well nine nine nine six the name of the car is Nellie please it's the dragon because it's a vault you get it cause it's a Volkswagen and we vlog and lug Swagelok truck and you can't really say that that easily it doesn't really roll off the tongue so that's why we've come up with a little nickname Blackie wagga wagga if you just want to smoke about the car just comment about wacky if you want to use a blocks wagon that's fine - yeah yeah blocks wagon yeah all right let's get in the vlog so I can let's go tomorrow we're gonna be just in time for another insane Philippine sunset our favorite thing [Music] huge party going on in Baguio tonight do they need a couple of extra guitar players we thought we'd left the traffic behind in Manila but turns out Baguio traffic it's quite bad as well although there was an event going on town but we found a parking space for waggy and now we're off to the rooftop the balcony of the SM City Mall we've got like four minutes until sunset so we're going to try and catch it parallel looks amazing we've seen some photos on Instagram looks insane and it's a nice clear sky so I think we're in for a treat we're also wearing some of our new clothes today that we picked up in Manila from yes [Music] not head-to-toe able to see the city nice well not my boxers they all go to the flower that's what we just missed that because we couldn't come up here until now just sweat in the car out and stuff but think I can see some flowers like decorations I think I think the final day of its tomorrow like the closing ceremony I'm not sure where it is maybe that's what the traffic was all for [Music] [Applause] [Music] very busy at the Mallis evening it seems like a lot of people had the same idea coming out of sunset [Music] okay we have a slight issue we've come up to the roof and all of these boards are up along yeah where we think sunset should be Mike Mike's just poking this camera over the top I'll do the same for you guys maybe you get a little view of sunset oh man Oh No look how annoying Wow hoist the vlog saw it bill that don't worry guys sunsets not important it's all about the bonfire so here's some of the sunset we would have shown you another mind [Music] so we're going to try and do this bonfire this evening and maybe even trying to a little barbecue or grill or something if there's one a bait if there's one available gonna buy some food here and eat back at the apartment this evening coconuts is a great idea in this heat even though it's not that hard bagger but we need to keep hydrated there seems to be a firework display happening right now I have good news were pretty much out the traffic Baguio seems to kind of be closed all the roads seem to be closed because of the flower festival yeah boy so in between in between doing stuff like that we've just kind of been trying to entertain ourselves in the car and we're kind of in and out of Internet signal and navigation as well we we we starting to know Baguio a little bit because it's our second visit but still the roaches are so whiny up and down up and down one-way systems always comes well we're all looking forward to a glass of wine this evening and barbeque DSG is really snappy will you use it in manually yes hit that then it's in the air just once the gears are left up here though I'm getting a red line which means traffic so do me to try and navigate around if that's one way and then you can't get around no oh yeah ha let's go let's go yeah so I was saying I've learned four chords I can't leave them very quickly it's like back to back but if you give me a minute I get that yes live our tune yeah yeah what if it's between every sunny amazing it will tune it up for the bonfire don't worry a minor E minor does that yeah yeah
