generation of kids who can't really
not miss no bus. Do you have bus money?
>> Because then you you can go rap.
[Music]
Come back six. Wake me and your child
won't make me wonder who you playing
with. Makes me wonder who you
>> previously on the reality of Maine.
All right, we got two bottles. When
you're trying to fry some rice up, you
should use like day old or a few days
old rice. And I should have made this
days ago and I did not.
>> Can y'all stop yelling?
>> Today is a better day cuz day one had
me.
Hey to all my new bell bays. What's
good, girl? What's up? Make sure um that
you ring the doorbell because if you
have not subscribed and you have not
rang the doorbell, then you're not a
what?
Belle bae, y'all. Y'all are catching on.
Y'all are catching on. Who sent you for
real?
Was it an exfriend?
Craps.
I'm not going to talk about how I'm how
I'm drinking Pepsi here. Talk about I'm
trying I'm trying my hardest to get over
this addiction that I have. I really am.
But it's it's crimpling me. It's it's
it's it's every time I look at it in the
in the aisle, it whispers to me.
And I said, "Yes, daddy.
And then I caress him and I put him in
my cart. I do. I do. I indulge
every time. It's I It makes me weak and
amazed. I don't know what it is. The
crack. Do they put crack? Is crack in
the ingredients? It's cocaine sugar.
Mhm. Caffeine.
Mhm.
It's crack.
>> It's definitely crack. Sugar cane
cane. Yes.
Yes. They're telling us without telling
us, right?
>> What did you think? We are getting
>> girl. Not Kane's chicken. Are you
hungry? I'm cooking. I promise I'm cook.
She ate lunch. I swear she did. Any of
y'all toddlers eat 24/7? Like she will
not stop. She snacks. She eats. She
snacks. Snack twice and then she eat
again. So,
Mimi is getting her hair dead. Don't
know when, don't know how, don't know
what's going on. Wanted to wear her hair
out and all this stuff, but I really
honestly with this Houston heat, the
humidity, the way it laughs at
Africanamean
[Music]
hair texture. I just really don't want
to deal with that. More so closer to
like when it gets colder, so then we can
really like do some things, you know,
because it is last minute. I'm trying to
figure out what hairstyle
Oh god, this week, this is like hell
week. I swear this is like the week
before school. This is like crunch time.
This is like we're in crisis. We're in
active crisis as parents and we're
trying to get make sure everything is
hit. Everything is done. I did all the
paperwork and stuff. So Minnie is
officially going to middle school. Oh my
goodness.
A part of me almost took them out. A
part of Hold up. A part of me almost
took them out and either a homeschooled
them. I told y'all online school, home
school, or I could put them in the
charter school. The charter school right
across the street from where we live and
it goes up to 8th grade. Okay? Which
means they would been in the same
school. Now they're two separate
schools, two separate buses, two
separate times
that they go to school and that they get
home school.
My babies are growing up, guys.
It's just so hard on me looking at them
because in my eyes they still little
babies and I'm like now I understand how
when you know your parents don't
sometimes treat you like kids it's like
it's hard cuz it's like I remember you
when you needed your ass like
Mhm. You [ __ ] on yourself.
I ain't judged.
>> I ain't judged. I just did what needed
to be done. I'm just saying you [ __ ] it
all up your back one time. Not pointing
any fingers, B. Not pointing any
fingers. I'm just saying some of y'all
ingested your [ __ ]
Not I, not me. It wasn't me, though. So,
that's that's none of my business. Can't
relate. Um,
but anyh who, it's just crazy to me
watching them grow like weeds
and then sprouting into flowers
like like caterpillars destroying
gardens and then and then growing into
beautiful butterflies. It's just
sickening. It makes my stomach. I get
bubble guts just thinking about it. I
just I really I can't I don't think I'm
I don't think I'm I didn't think this
through. when when I sat and planned
Mimi and I planned my life and I planned
my kids minus London she wasn't planning
she said hello
that was a time but
when I planned my kids in general just I
knew I was going to have kids and my
future and
I just didn't plan on them getting older
does that make sense I just did not plan
on them growing up like Mimi is going to
be 12 in October I know I keep saying
this I keep trying to talk myself
through Like I have to say it out loud
to talk myself through the chaos because
it is just in my brain can't wrap around
it. Like they're literally just little
independent beings. Like it's crazy. I'm
going to try to get Mimi this school
year to kind of like get herself
together more in the morning cuz Mimi's
so slow. I have to get up and nitpick
and all this stuff. And with all the
different schedules that's going to be
going on this year. Last year, I thought
it was hard, but this year with so many
different schedules, like I'm gonna have
to get up and stay up. Usually, I take a
nap. I would get up at 6:00 in the
morning, get them ready for school, take
a nap, then wake up with Milan around
like 10:00. I don't even think I'm going
to have a nap sesh. Like, I don't think
I'm have time for naps. I might have
like an hour of nap time. I don't know.
But we'll see. Hopefully, I can get Mimi
into like the swing of things. You know
what I'm saying? Get that fear in her
heart. Y'all know that fear we had of
missing the bus? I'm I'm I'm trying to
instill that type of that type of worry
up in here, up and through here. So
hopefully I can get that. I don't know.
I have to like, you know, muster all of
the Y'all know I talk to the ancestors.
All the ancestrial power within me.
Get my get my voice together. You beg
not. No. I need I think I need a little
bit more bass. Right. Right. Be
You bet not. Should I grit my teeth? My
mom used to She used to flare her
nostrils and grit her teeth and then
lean. You got to lean. Huh? Huh? You
missed the bus.
You better not ever
miss their bus again.
What would happen if you missed another
bus?
Well, the wheels on your bus going to go
round and round when I whoop y'all. Was
that too Was that too harsh? Cuz y'all
know these new kids, these new
generation of kids, you can't really be
too harsh on them. You know what I'm
saying? They don't really They be real
sensitive. Like they look at my kids
look at me like I'm I'm I'm a two-headed
monster when I start cussing and acting
and acting crazy. They be appalled. Like
these new kids have feelings. We didn't
have feelings about bays when we were
younger. We were what? Seen but not
heard. These new kids be be heard. They
be speaking. They be telling us a thing
or two. And I just don't think it's
fair. I really don't. I don't know what
are we soft. It was cuz they was too
hard on us. That's what it was. They
made us weak cuz they was too hard on
us. So now I'm secondg guessing myself
when all I need to do is just put a
little Hold on. Let me get a spatula.
Maybe that'll help. Hold on.
[Music]
You better not miss no bus. Not up in
this house.
Okay. We don't miss bus right here. Do
you have bus money? Because then you you
could go ride. No, that don't make
sense.
That don't make sense because she
wouldn't want to have bus money cuz she
wouldn't want to ride the public bus. So
that I would have to have the bus money.
Okay, hold on. Hold on.
You know what happens when you miss the
bus?
>> You have to walk to school. Yeah. Cuz
back in my day, I walked rain, sle,
snow, and hell.
Through hell. I did. I walked through
the the belly of the beast to get to
school. And if you miss another bus, you
going you going to feel you you I don't
think I have an enemy that I really
don't. I think I'm going to get in the
car. I think I'm going to I think I'm
going to drive her to school and then I
think I'm going to be tired and then I
think I'm going to be frustrated and I
think I'm going to just have a meltdown.
I think I'm going to talk to y'all.
Okay, I'mma talk to y'all. We going to
talk through it. Okay, Fred, because I
really think that I'm going to end up
stopping at McDonald's
and we going to end up having a little
breakfast, little me time, little mini
me time.
We might grab coffee on the way to
school. She may miss a class or two, but
that's okay cuz her mama signed her in.
And now I'mma tell her. And if anybody
have a problem, they could call. Why are
they calling you? I'm supposed to be
sleep. No, they can't.
We going to work on it.
We going to work on it. Okay. Not today.
We'll We'll figure it out. I'll let
y'all know.
>> Well, how did we end up in the grocery
store? Or you may ask.
[Music]
How the hell did you buy chocolate this
morning? What is this?
>> I don't like cupcake.
>> Oh, yeah. I like cupcakes. Did you get
them?
>> No.
>> I'm done with that.
>> Okay.
>> Anyway, check.
[Music]
>> So, we're in the grocery store because I
realized that I don't have any
scallions.
I don't have any
So, I need to get in place. Where did
your pizza
[Music]
We be getting so loud.
So damn proud. Lay your head down.
Turn the lights real low. I want you to
say
[Music]
go there. Go by the by the thing. I told
you. I told you.
[Music]
I'm not super fast.
>> Uhuh. Uh-uh. Let's go. Let's go.
>> Right here.
[Music]
Down.
Don't be surprised, baby. It's just me.
Don't be surprised, boy. I s why I
hypnotize you.
Now you feel like you can fly
off.
[ __ ] all your free time. You don't need
no time. That's you and me.
>> One thing I do not understand and I will
never understand as a parent. Yeah. Put
your seat belt on.
She loves to do that by herself.
>> But one thing I do not understand as a
parent is when people are like, "Oh,
it's normal for people to leave or
forget their kids in the back seat." I
have never, even when they're infants
and I didn't I couldn't hear them, you
know, maybe they were asleep or
something. They weren't making any
sounds or something like that or
whatever. Like even in the dead of
sleep, I have never forgot my kids ever.
Never ever and never ever will. Like I
can understand how someone's mind can be
so
stressed in so many places, especially
for fathers. I feel like because fathers
may not always have their kids with them
at all times, but I just know for me
personally, it will never happen. Like I
would never ever never ever forget my
kids. Like
I just can't like I know that I came
with you in the car like and my kids
make sure I I can't forget them. I'm I'm
going say that they they they surely
make sure whether it's arguing,
throwing a fit, like going off the deep
end, like asking for candy and snacks,
girl 24/7. They make sure that they're
seating her like I was saying earlier.
But it's just crazy to me like just
thinking about that, especially in the
summer months when people leave their
babies, kids in a car. There was this
guy I was watching on I think it was a
shave room. I don't remember. But he
literally left his two kids. They were
like two and three. He left his two kids
strapped in car seats and in seat belts,
which this one's trying to do. You hear
in the background I'm struggling. Girl,
I'm about to have to do it. But um to go
into the mall
to go into the mall, they have long
sleeves on in the car in the heat, car
off, sweating, crying, screaming in the
parking lot while you was in the mall.
And they said he was in the mall for 40
minutes. Like that's literally insane.
But let me go. I got to go cook and fix
her seat belt. Child see they'll never
be forgotten. I'm let y'all know.
[Music]
[Applause]
Don't let us
right here.
[Music]
>> All right, y'all. So, we're about to
start right now. I got the rice drying
cuz you already know the situation that
I am in, the dilemma that I'm in. And
then I have some pinina colada I'm
drinking. I'm going to lie. I'll show
y'all. Hey y'all.
Hi.
>> What about
>> What about to do?
>> Yeah.
>> What you about to do?
>> I look at my business like Anyway,
>> if you catch the live or if you caught
the live. Okay, comment below. Replay
gang. So, we're about to cook right now.
I'm real irritated about this rice.
Like, I'm trying to get my life, but I
am slightly irritated. Ran to Randall's.
We got the
green onions and what else I get? Oh,
soy sauce. I need to get
the the little mix that I use. Hold on,
y'all.
We're going to be using Japanese
barbecue sauce. We're using this. Y'all
love it. They taste so good. You got
potential.
[Music]
You got You You got potential.
