I don't want my girl working a job, not
because I want control, but because I
want her peace. I want her free. I want
her to have the life most women pray for
but never get. See, providing isn't just
about money. It's about removing stress
for the people you love. And if my woman
has to wake up 6:00 a.m. every single
day, go to her job, be completely
drained by strangers, and get home to
me, what's the point of me being in her
life? If I'm with you, you're not
supposed to age twice as fast because
you are overwork. You're supposed to
glow up because you're being cared for.
Now, the internet hears that and they're
like, "Oh, so you want it in the
kitchen?" No, I want her to have the
freedom to choose whatever she wants to
do. If she wants to work on a passion
project, great. If she wants to start a
brand, amazing. If she just wants to
stay home and create a better life for
us, even better. The point is, she's not
forced to do anything for survival. It's
funny how when a man says he wants to
protect and provide, he's seen as
controlling. When a woman says she wants
a man to make six figures, drive a nice
car, and spoil her, that's just simply
having standards. So, here's my
standard. If you're my girl, you're not
going to work a job you hate. Period. A
man, let me be real with you. If you
want your woman to have that life, you
have to level up. No woman should trust
a man to lead if he's not able to lead
himself. You can't preach about protect
and provide if you're still splitting
the bill. become so capable that her
biggest stress is picking a restaurant.
And for women who hear this, understand
not every man who is trying to provide
is trying to control you. Some of us
just know what it feels like to see
someone we love burn out and we refuse
to let that happen. The right man
doesn't buy you freedom. He builds a
life where freedom is a default.
