What's up guys and welcome back to the channel.
Just got me today and I am bringing you the Road Warrior.
Just going to be a little classic ball review, just going to throw some shots, talk about
it, kind of tell you where I think it fits.
We are bowling on a already broken down 44 foot titanium.
Is that right, Mike?
This is honestly kind of when I would start to use this bowling ball anyway, so this is
going to be a pretty good review for it.
Let's see what we got here.
That's pretty nice.
That is pretty nice.
For this one, it is obviously the same inverted FE2 core with the AI technology that you saw
in the Road, but the coverstock R2S Deep Pearl.
It's going to be a quicker response cover and I think that's going to help out the smoothness
that some people saw with the Road that maybe they weren't quite the biggest fan of.
This one is definitely going to have a little bit more quickness to it down lane.
I mean you saw that one right there, had no problem turning the corner.
All right, let's throw another one here.
It's usually the TV Bowling Supply Special to leave the 9-pin, but we're getting it out
today.
That's huge.
We like that.
As far as the layout, this one is 5x5x4, 2LS for me.
Did a little bit bigger back number just because I know obviously the RG on this ball is 255,
so it's going to want to get down the lane pretty easily, so I don't want to go too weak
and then just kind of go through the back of the building for me.
So that one helps the flare potential stay pretty high and helps it slow down a little
bit more in the middle part of the lane.
So that is what we were wanting and looking like we're getting so far.
That's not my greatest effort and still read the lane pretty nicely.
That's actually kind of one of those like twirly misses that scare me with these types
of bowling balls because they are cleaner and they want to just kind of get through
everything so easily.
So when I have that miss, I'm a little concerned, especially on a longer pattern, that it's
just going to fly through it and, you know, 2.810, 2.10, or see the friction too quickly,
you know, big 4, 5 foot of metal, whatever it is.
But that one bled off nicely.
So that's a good sign.
I like that one.
I mean, first of all, it's also just a good looking bowling ball, right?
Kind of the graphite-y gray, nice blue, lime green logos.
It's a good looking ball.
Good looking ball.
Yeah, this one is good and full transparency, was not a fan of the road.
Just didn't like it.
It was clean, but it was, to me, it was just like a little too slow.
So it's really, really smooth.
It either made us go too far left.
It didn't really shape the corner, or it was a little bit closer to it, and then it was
a little too quick.
So just didn't really find a spot to use the road very well.
Where this one, it's already seen where, yeah, it is making us go a little bit further left
because it is a little bit quicker, but it's actually, it's seen it in the right way.
It's actually still slowing down in the middle part of the lane.
So this one, this one is, it's exciting.
I like this one a lot.
It kind of just gives me, obviously we're not, you know, we're not selling the High
Road Pearl anymore, and that's a high one to live up to, and I can't quite give it the
High Road Pearl stamp of approval yet.
That's a little too early on, a little too early on for that, but I'm definitely liking
what I see so far, and this is, you know, definitely, like I said, the time I would
be using this type of bowling ball, so.
And we talked about it, and it happened.
If you guys are new around here, welcome to TV Bowling Supply, where we 9-pin just about
every single video, and it's just, it is what it is at this point, it is what it is.
Man, I'm really, really liking this ball.
The thing that always scares me with these, even the High Road Pearl, it's on these longer
patterns, when I have to get this far away, it just feels like I have to almost cram on
it so much to make it slow down in the middle part of the lane, or else it just kind of
wants to go through the back of the building.
But this one, yeah, I mean, obviously I'm not throwing it the hardest, you know, I do
still have to get it to slow down in the right spot, but it feels so much easier with this
ball, I can stay a little bit more aggressive, and just kind of let the ball slow down, and
it keeps continuing through the pins.
Big fan of this one so far, I was, this was the one I was a little skeptical of, I'll
be honest, a little skeptical when we came out, because like I said, wasn't the biggest
fan of the road, but actually Belmo was the one that told me, I definitely need to throw
this one, because he went to the plant, before they still had announced this one, tested
this one, and he said, quote unquote, this feels like the first, quote unquote, storm
ball in a long time, so he felt like this one really gave you that true storm reaction,
just that, you know, storm's known to have more down lane motion, and that's what this
ball's giving you.
Almost the exact same hit again, got the 3 pin to karate chop the 9 pin there, but man,
this ball's looking good.
I wasn't really sure what I was going to see out of this bowling ball, if I was going to
like this bowling ball at all, and pleasantly, pleasantly surprised.
I think this one's, it's going directly into the bag for situations like this, when I gotta
get left, I gotta circle the lane, definitely going to be something I throw quite a bit
on tour, I'll be interested to see if we have to use some surface on it out there, I would
imagine so, just, we almost always have to use the surface on the shinier bowling balls,
but this is actually slowing down in the middle of the lane quite a bit more than I expected,
so definitely going to take one out there shiny, and we'll just have to see if we have
to hit some surface, hit it with some surface or not, but we'll see if we can throw one
more strike for you guys, telling you what, good looking ball, rolls well, not more you
can ask for.
Give it one more good one here, yeah, you know what, I think that's just where we're
going to end it there, just cause, you know, that's what this channel is, it's just 9 pins,
so thank you guys very much for tuning in, thanks for watching, hopefully you guys gained
a little bit of interest in the Road Warrior, because I tell you what, my interest level
