In 1848, Marx declared,
a specter is haunting Europe, the specter of communism.
A century later, that specter took real form,
claiming tens of millions of lives and stripping away property, freedom, even spirit.
The first principle of communism is the abolition of private property.
But private property is not merely about wealth.
It is the foundation of freedom and the core of tradition.
Those who lose property also lose freedom of thought and political rights.
In the 1980s, the CCP restored limited property rights through reforms.
But it only exposed the party's greed.
Today, corruption in China is the result of party members amassing wealth without restraint.
This evil spirit, built on violence and lies, now shows a frightened face.
The party's obsession with power and wealth is bringing crisis upon itself.
Though it appears prosperous on the surface,
Chinese society is in its deepest crisis.
At any time, the CCP can create new victims to justify its violence.
The Chinese people have endured countless reforms and radical revolutions,
losing their civilization in the process.
All these failures were driven by the evil spirit of communism,
manipulating events from behind.
Now the Chinese stand again at a critical crossroads.
They must abandon all illusions about the party.
They must reject hatred and greed, and reclaim freedom and human dignity.
Only then can they escape the nightmare of communist rule.
Chinese civilization can rise again only on the foundation of universal love and freedom.
