Life has its ups and downs, times of hope and joy, and times of uncertainty and turmoil.
I've been stuck in a place where I didn't belong, a chaos in my head, and all I wanted was to breathe,
find peace, a beacon to guide me out of the dark. When I finally found this light, all I had to do
was to follow it, trust it, and believe that it would bring better days, and breathe again.
The month of May has been one of the strangest in a long time for me.
Lots of unexpected things kept unfolding, not the pleasant kind.
Little things that life throws at you and that disrupt your peace. And after several weeks,
when I finally found the strength and motivation to look around me, I realized how much had changed
in nature. The grass was so tall we couldn't even access our garden table anymore. Nature had
exploded in just a few days. It may even look like chaos here too, depending on the way you look at it.
Beautiful things also happened when I wasn't looking. Our roses have finally bloomed,
all of them a sweet shade of pink, all of them sending happiness vibes to us. As time passes,
life happens. My aromatics garden has woken up too. The sage I planted two years ago is getting
bigger and bigger. I started planting new aromatics, basil, calendula, and lemon balm.
I'm slowly finding my rhythm again, back to doing all the little things I should have done,
like writing down my favorite recipes, something I had kept postponing.
I paid a visit to our attic. I needed to see some of my old paintings.
This is probably one of the things that I missed the most lately. For quite a while,
I had planned to paint again, and to really get back to it in a more regular way.
Now is the right time. I can feel it in my bones and my soul.
Experiencing the world creatively has been a lifesaver for many years.
It's what keeps me healthy and motivated. That's another beacon to follow when you're in the dark.
Yeah.
So yeah, it's been a very, very strange month of May. To be honest, I'm happy it's almost over.
I cannot wait to start June, and I'm really, really hoping it'll be a different,
totally different month. I'm feeling much better. Everything is really, really going well at the
moment. I'm glad that we have put all those things behind us. So what are those things?
What happened? You may wonder. Just lots of unexpected things. Nothing really serious,
nothing big, but a series of events that have forced me to slow down.
Some problems with the animals on the farm. We have lost two calves this year.
We have also had some problems with some of our cows, health issues.
Me and my daughter and her dad, we have caught some kind of virus,
some kind of gastroenteritis or flu or whatever it was, and we have been very sick for several days,
which has obviously made me waste a lot of time.
And there's been some problems at the creche, where our daughter goes. They could not take
her because they had organization problems, and so that means that we had to keep her at home
more often than we usually do. So obviously, you cannot work with a baby around, or it's really
hard. Sometimes everything seems to happen all at once, and it creates a big mess, and you just
don't know how to get out of it. So maybe the best thing to do is to just wait for everything to
go back to normal, because there's really not much that you can do.
So yeah, but I felt really, really, really bad. I felt lost almost, because those things were
really stressful and really tiring when they happened. I can talk about them now, but it was
really, really hard. Anyway, I also wanted to tell you that the paintings that I've shown in the video
they may not all be on my webshop, but if there's one of them that interests you,
don't hesitate to send me a message, and I'll do my best to put them up online.
Anyway, so I hope I'll see you again soon, hopefully sooner than what I've done in May.
I'll see you, see you very soon. Bye.
