Continue cooking for an additional 5-6 minutes until the flavors are well combined. Assembly:
In a large serving dish or individual bowls, layer the Ruffles potato chips. Spoon the sloppy joe mix over the chips. Top with the diced tomatoes, Mexican cheese, nacho cheese, and jalapeño peppers. Enjoy your Easy Cheesy Sloppy Joe Crunch—perfect for a quick and delicious meal without needing an oven!

Today we're going to be doing
Meatball Subs.
We're going to do everything
homemade.
And I'm going to add a little Creole seasoning
inside of there.
I'm going to give this a great stir.
That sounds good and good to go.
I hear you.
Yes.
Oh my god.
That is wonderful.
So, that was about 4-5
Welcome back to another
episode of Be Sure To Cook.
Today, we're making an easy
cheesy sloppy joe crunch.
Something that I created.
My family loves it and I hope
you do too. So stay tuned
and let's do this.
Okay, our first thing that we're doing
I'm already starting to slice
up
some onions. Now I don't need to
slice onions. I need these to be diced.
But I like to
slice my onions. This has already been
washed and rinsed off.
And we'll rinse these
off again because I do it more than one
time. I'm just dicing these up.
Okay, why
I call this the easy cheesy
because it's supposed
to be easy. So I can do this
the hard way, which
is not really the hard way for me, but
for maybe you if you don't want to
make your homemade
sloppy joe mix.
So this is going to be more like
an easy way and
it's using your favorite can of
sloppy joe mix. So you can get
any type of can of sloppy
joe mix that you want
and you're going to follow this recipe.
Okay, after I
rinse off my tomato
and we're going to dice these
tomatoes. And we have
diced tomatoes. And I'm going to rinse these tomatoes
off. So I'm just going to make little
dices. And I want these
small
tomatoes because
it's supposed to be really thin and small. I don't
want big hunks of tomatoes on there.
And I want real small pieces. Let me
show you. You know, like little bitty
dice size. So we're going to do all
these. We're going to get enough just for
the party. And we're
just going to show you all how to do this.
Alright, so when I
actually
kind of thought of this
dish, I thought,
you know what? It actually
came to me
and I thought, oh my god. And when I tried
it, I was just overwhelmed and
very, very shocked. So
let's do this. So now we're going to need some
tomatoes and we're going to rinse these tomatoes.
And we're going to rinse these where we get all
these little seeds because we don't want any
slimy. I call these my dry
tomatoes. And what I mean when I say dry
is I put these in a strainer with
a hose and I want to rinse this in real cold water
and I want to keep
mixing up the
tomatoes so all the seeds can go
away from them.
Alright, I'm using about a pound
of ground beef.
But you can use more. Like I said, it's just me
and a party of four
and a pound
of this would be wonderful.
This is about a pound. I think I got too much.
This is about a pound. I put extra
talking. So, okay, so
I'm doing a pound of ground beef
and we're using a can
of your favorite sloppy joe
mix. Unless you like
to
take your sloppy joe and make it homemade
and like I said, I do that also.
But it's supposed to be a quick and easy.
So quick and
easy for me and a nice cheesy.
Hey, just use your
favorite can. Okay, the rest
of our ingredients. We're going to be
using a barbecue
sauce of your choice. Whatever
barbecue sauce you want. You can
make your own barbecue sauce if you happen
to do that.
I can do that too.
And this is your
manwich mix or you can
make your homemade. And of course
we're going to be using our Mrs. Dash
blend because I know I use this
in everything that I do. But
let me tell you why. It has,
if you read the back of it, it has a
whole bunch of different seasons.
And it's already in there and you can
just use it and you're going to get an equal amount
of portion of every season. So
free to see if you like any of the seasons.
I happen to love it because it's probably about
what I'm going to use in everything anyway.
And I'm adding some
smoked paprika this time.
And I have some thyme.
Okay, I've got a nice hot
pan. Actually,
it's not a frying pan. It's just
a regular old, you know, pan
that you would boil stuff in. I like it better.
It keeps me with mixing
and mashing better. That's just me.
But if you have a skillet that you want
and this is a pan. If you have a skillet
that you want to use, you can. But I
have a pan because I get to beat it up on the side
and I don't have to worry about it flipping out of the pan.
And here it goes. It's nice and hot. I want
to hear that sizzle. And
there it is. That great sizzle.
I'm going to put that burger meat in there.
And this is great burger meat. I get my butcher.
I go to a store that
I can get it already ground up
and it's fresh that day.
I don't have to worry about, you know,
something sitting in the
store and I don't know
how long it's been there.
They do this every day. You can get
it fresh and ground it up every day.
Okay, I'm going to go ahead
and throw those onions right on
in here all
the way. And I want those to cook
right there with my meat and get
all of these all chopped up.
I mean, all mixed
up in here. And I'm going to be also
adding my seasonings
in here. So this is cooking and I've got
this cooking. I want to add these in here because I want this
to cook with this. In the meantime, let's
start adding some of our seasonings.
I've got some thyme.
I'm going to sprinkle some thyme in here.
Oop, not too much.
Maybe just, you know, maybe
a half of one-fourth
teaspoon. And I'm going to add a
little bit of this
smoked paprika
and some
Mrs. Dash
blend. Just a little bit. You don't want to
over season, you know, because you want
to, you've got so much stuff that's going
on this dish. And then we're going to
add about
a one-fourth teaspoon of garlic
powder. If you like more, you can.
And then we have some fresh
cracked black pepper. Just a couple
swirls of fresh cracked black
pepper. And that's it.
We're going to just start smashing
and letting this cook and mixing
all those onions inside this meat.
Okay, I've got some
Mexican cheese here
and it's shredded. I like Mexican
cheese. I'm going to put it
in a bowl here.
Okay, I am rinsed and
washed off my can. I have a
can of nacho cheese.
Now, you actually want
the nacho kind. Or you can get the
regular. If you don't like nacho cheese, that's fine.
I'm opening up a can of
nacho cheese because I'm going to
put it in a bowl and I'm going to melt this.
You can get any nacho cheese that you want.
Anything that you
like as nachos. You can get
the white queso. I'm putting
a little bit in here.
And I'm going to melt this.
Let's get back over here to our meat. I hear it cooking.
Alright, so
see, and I'm going to
pull that up. See, I can get
some chunky.
That's a big chunk, right?
And I'm just going to mix this up.
Break it up a little bit and let
this keep ripping.
He's going to get a little chunks.
And I'm going to get a little
bit of what he calls
powdery. It's just mixed up.
But I like mine like
a taco meat.
He likes his like, I don't know.
Okay, guys.
And then I have also
some jalapenos.
Oh, that was hard to open.
Okay, so I got me some
jalapenos.
If you like jalapenos,
you do not have to have jalapenos
if you want to.
This makes the dish a little bit more
better for me. I happen to like jalapenos.
See how it's hardly
any oil? But to make sure
if you don't want any oil, because this is
not that much oil at all,
we're still going to drain this a little bit
and then we're going to start putting in our sauce.
Okay, there
is the drainage.
Careful, our meat's
still in there, but it's nothing in there
but meat. And we're just going to
drain the majority of all.
Lay my meat
back into the pot. I'm going to put
my meat back in the pot
while it's still cooking.
Making sure I get all of those
crumbles and onions
back in here.
And I'm going to dispose
of
the rest of my container
and I'm going to take
some of my sauce
and I'm going to add
half of it in here
and I'm going to mix this around and get this all
stirred up.
Getting that sloppy because I don't want
it to be... I'm going to turn
this down, guys. And then I'm
going to add in my two
tablespoons of my famous
extra
spicy
barbecue.
Yeah! I mean, this
is just my recipe.
And then you got those onions. But if
you want to really fancy this
up, guys, I'm
going to tell you, you can use a whole can
but I don't really want it to be super
but super
saucy.
And that's what I'm not looking for.
And
I'm going to let that cook out
and bring that down. And that's
about all the sauce that I'm going to be putting
in here. Okay. I added
me a little pack of sugar.
Just one little packet
a tablespoon of sugar. I mean a
teaspoon of sugar. Okay.
Everything is complete.
Here is my
sloppy joe
mix with onions.
I have my
melted nacho
cheese. I
have my tomatoes
my cheese and
my jalapeno peppers.
Alrighty.
This is what we're using, guys. We're
using
ruffle potato chips.
Okay. We're
going to lay down our ruffle
potato chips.
Just the way they are. Out of the bag.
If you want to heat these up,
you can. We're
going to add some
cheese. And this cheese
is a Mexican cheese. It's a
little bit of
all different types of cheese.
Queso. It's a little
bit. It's got cheddar.
We're just going to sprinkle that
all over. Just like nachos.
Yes. Just like
nachos. And then that
wonderful meat
that we made. Remember?
It's all nice and hot.
And we're just going to take it and we're
just going to sprinkle this
meat all over it.
Oh my God. It's got
so many different flavors in
here. We're just going to make sure
this meat gets enough
over. You can get a couple of
you know, you can
spread it however you want it. I spread
it where I want it to be everywhere.
All over. So every chip
can get some meat.
We're going to add
a little bit more cheese
on here.
And then guess what guys?
We're getting that nacho. That nacho
filling. We're going to just
drizzle nacho
sauce all over this.
Making sure it gets all into that
cheese. All into those
chips. All over that meat.
We're just going to drizzle. Not too
much because you don't want to make a sloppy mess.
But good enough. You know what I mean?
Just to get that flavor.
Then, we're
going to get a little of those
what I call those wonderful
dried tomatoes. Just a little.
Not too much. Just to make that
stand out and look so pretty.
And it tastes so good.
And then we're going to come over here guys
with our jalapenos.
And we're going to put here.
One here. And one there.
And one here.
And maybe one there.
One in the middle to go. How about a little
one in the middle to go?
There we go.
We got a couple of jalapenos. If you want more,
you can add more. But this
is what I call my
delicious yum yum.
And here it is. My easy
cheesy sloppy joe
crunch. Something I
created. I thought it would be different.
And when I tried it, it is out
of this world.
Guys, anybody can enjoy this. You can
make this and have a bunch of people
come over and just
you know, yum it up. Try it.
It's different. It's good. And it's
exciting. And you
might, by eating this, you
might think of other things that you
can put on here and make it even more
creative. Hey guys,
I hope you enjoyed this dish
as much as me and my family
do. We love it.
Don't forget game time.
Party time. Get together time.
It's for everyone.
Try it out and I'm guaranteed
you're going to like it. So hey,
I hope you like it.
I hope you come back and get more dishes
because guess what?
I didn't make this alone. You
did it. You and me.
We did this together. And we'll do
plenty more dishes. Hey,
see you next time.
Bye.
I know I said our goodbyes, but
I want to let you all know, all of my
fans and everybody who comes to my show,
please like, share, and subscribe.
