hi this is josh with resort tv one and
today i'm taking you on a tour of a
wilderness cabin at the fort wilderness
resort and campgrounds we hope you
enjoyed the video please remember to
leave us a like and a comment as well as
subscribe and hit that notification bell
if you haven't already done so also be
sure to follow us on social media or
resort tv one on facebook twitter
instagram and now tick tock so
hope you enjoy the video
so we'll head up here onto the deck and
check out the little picnic area we're
going to be in wide angle here so if it
looks a little distorted that's why i
want to be able to show you a wider view
of things but
every cabin has actually two doors here
and again this nice little picnic area
and they all look pretty much the same
but of course they all have different
settings it's really nice here in the
woods very peaceful and quiet you can
hear
all you can hear is air conditioners and
uh
birds chirping and it's very relaxing
out here and i'll give you a little
swipe around you can see
pine cones on the ground it's really
cool
pine needles as well
and of course golf carts driving around
a lot of golf carts here
and several other cabins
all right so let's head in and check
things out
i haven't been here since the 90s when i
was in high school we came and stayed at
one of these so it's really cool
to see
got that authentic cabin squeaky door
right
but you can tell it's been upgraded
you've got stainless steel appliances
very nice
i really like the color on these
countertops actually
and of course you've got a full kitchen
here you've even got a small
range right there cooktop range
microwave and all kinds of great stuff
so that's pretty cool
and here's another look at the kitchen
from a little further back
and you can see the the architecture in
here is really cool i mean they are kind
of like trailers so you've got this uh
nice timber work on the ceiling and uh
very rustic as you might expect
and there's a nice dining area here so
you can seat
you know several people there you
probably see five or six people around
the dining room table and then you've
got the picnic area outside so if you've
got more people here you could
definitely uh you could definitely have
everybody here i believe these sleep
eight and i'll have to check that out
so because we'll look at the bedroom and
then you can sleep too here on the
sleeper sofa so let me turn around and
of the living room
there you go there's the sleeper sofa
and that would pull out and that would
sleep too
you can see really nice big tv over
there of course playing our favorite
resort tv which i am going to record
here in a little bit so
stay tuned for that
you can see the 50th anniversary logo on
it
and i love these chairs like look how
everything's hewn out of log
and tree branches and things
really nice rustic decor here just like
you'd expect but
really reminds me of wilderness lodge
and you know with good reason they're
close together and have similar
names so this is really cool though this
is the
fort wilderness railroad which doesn't
exist anymore but
really an artist version of what that
used to look like
get to a little closer view of that
picture sorry about the reflections from
the lights and things but that is really
really cool if i can show it from over
here but that says 1972 on the bottom of
it so
awesome history here
and you can even see around the
chandelier bears and trees and even a
wolf over there so
all right so another look at the kitchen
and then we're gonna head back into the
bathroom and bedroom areas
got this little hallway here and it's
not too bad you would think maybe in a
trailer that would be super narrow but
it actually isn't
got some places to hang jackets or
ponchos towels whatever you want i
believe that's the air conditioning room
probably right there
and here
is the bathroom i even have that
authentic cabin board squeak
so
look at those lamps that's so cool they
look like a
sewn fabric together
almost like you might see on a tp or
something
and you've got a nice shower here and
again i love how all the rooms
have these uh vaulted ceilings so and
the timberwork even continues into the
bathroom so a lot of attention to detail
here
there's a look at the shower
there you go
and let's head back into
the bedroom
this is pretty cool
so you can see there is uh one queen
size bed here on the left and then a
bunk bed
on the right so you could actually sleep
four in this one room
so that's pretty good i guess so then
that means six you could sleep uh four
in here and two on the sleeper sofa out
in the front so that would be uh six
total in this room but bunk beds are a
nice touch i love the styling again all
like looking like they're hewn out of
log and
just really really well done it says
to help prevent serious fatalities never
allow children under six years old on
the upper bunk and so on yeah really
good common sense information because if
parents you know you've never
had your kids on bunk beds before
definitely not the time to start
with younger children so you definitely
want to have the older children
on the top bunk so that they're not
rolling off i mean there's a little bit
of a railing there but
especially them climbing on and off so
you put the younger kids down here i
think most people would know that but
might be you're on vacation you might
not think about it so
here's a little uh
mirror and
kind of a dresser area
tiny little window over here
and a closet extra pillow blanket it's
even got a safe a lot of people always
ask do these rooms have safe so this one
does
and you have uh the suitcase area and
everything like that so it's pretty cool
another look again at the room
and you've got
beautiful beautiful pictures here this
is from the trading post
it's actually um
frontierland at disneyland 1956 is when
that was
painted
and we also have
over here a small tv and another dresser
area so you definitely get
tv in both rooms which is nice
nice place to put your clothes and then
here you have another door so you can go
straight from the bedroom outside if you
want to i don't think you can come in
the room using your magic band here but
you can
definitely exit there and enter there so
uh you know after if you leave the door
unlocked of course
i guess you wouldn't be able to because
it does have a deadbolt on it so you'd
have to leave the deadbolt open but
i think that'd be a good way to come in
and out if you were just uh you know
going out to the picnic or coming in and
out with the family but the initial
entry into the room is going to be done
via this this main door right here so
all right everybody well that about
wraps it up for this full room tour of a
cabin at disney for wilderness resort
and campground pretty amazing place here
and i hope you guys will consider
staying here at some point it's a
beautiful beautiful part of the resort
and the nice thing is you don't have to
have a camper or a trailer or a tent to
stay here you can stay here in a room
with plumbing running water shower like
a regular resort room everything is
standard here like what you would expect
in a disney resort and the nice thing
about it is
that um again you don't have to have
that camper or something you know a lot
of people have those and that's
fantastic but you know they are
expensive if that's not something that
you're wanting to buy so it's good that
you can still stay at this resort even
if you don't have something to camp in
so leave a comment let me know what you
