A brave man named Qi Kong projected four sets of anti-communist slogans playing in a loop
against the building in Chongqing University in what can only be described as a Hollywood
cat-and-mouse thriller moment. In a real-life version of the law-abiding Citizen movie,
he installed hidden cameras to capture the moment police went inside the hotel room he
had booked and where the projector is. And here are the four slogans.
Freedom
Tyrannical Communist Party
Step Down
The projections lasted about 50 minutes before the police found the hotel location
and came out to stop the projection.
Now, the next moment is some straight-up horror farming stuff.
Qi Hong left a handwritten letter to the cops at the hotel room. It addresses the
cops as friends for the time being. Qi urged the recipients not to harm innocent people
and to avoid aiding the Communist Party, which it accuses of countless crimes as well as
of being a fascist-style dictatorship. The writer says that even if some do benefit
under the current regime and its leadership, eventually it will get to them as well.
Given the party's long history of campaign persecution and broken families,
they encouraged compassion towards others. His work of art involved projection discs,
scouting the location of the projection and the hotel room perfect for the setup.
Speaking to an ex-accountant named Teacher Li, he said that the use of outdoor projector light
with about 600 watts of power, three surveillance cameras, one remote controllable time switch,
one router, and one SIM card was what needed to be done for the job.
Fortunately, he escaped and is hiding somewhere, but unfortunately, his family members have been
harassed and detained, including a relative of his in Chongqing. The older brother in the
countryside was also taken away, and here's the surveillance footage he published of his
mother being questioned by the police. According to him, the original plan was to do this on
the eve of September 3rd or just before so that it matched the military parade. The goal was to,
as the university students come back for the semester, that more people would see it.
But he also had concerns because the hotel room had been booked and vacant for so long
that it might prolong the process, so he did it just as time was appropriate.
Another internet post shows a message given by superiors in that area of the city after this
happened to disconnect the LED screens from internet connection to avoid hacking into the
system. The last episode would cover the toilet protest. In both cases, this is happening against
that September 3rd parade. The CCP's legitimacy is crumbling, and the fact that there are more
people who are brave enough to do this compared to many years ago is a sign that they have better
access to uncensored information. But there's also a high level of resentment in society,
and it's one where it's enough that people consider but don't care so much about their
own safety that they're willing to put out these demonstrations in order to protest.
People are willing to go to jail for putting up a banner on a bridge or project it onto the
building. And such bravery hasn't always been the case. While the CCP thinks they're very scared
of political reforms, potentially of the CCP system collapsing, in reality, it's actually
very easy because the Chinese people are already embracing it. One of the factors outside of China
is, take a look at this map. This is the number of countries in red confirmed to attend the
military parade in Beijing. This is a shrinking list compared to last time. The only two countries'
leaders attending this time, but not last time, are from Malaysia and Kim Jong-un of North Korea.
Now, compare this to 2015 during the last one, which was 10 years ago. You had people like
many of the Western European countries sending their delegations or representatives. This time,
none of the Western ones are going. And only two countries in Africa are coming. The rest of these
are from Central Asia, and their economy has been largely tied to the CCP's Belt and Road Initiative.
This time around, the parade is merely consisting of countries who are economically… I mean,
these countries, if they don't receive money from the CCP, chances are they probably wouldn't go
either. And like the axes of evil, these are the countries that are going. Their global influence
is reducing to just Central Asia, essentially. Many of the African countries who are part of
the Belt and Road aren't even going. Now, the CCP shells are saying, oh, maybe they weren't invited
or whatever. No, dude, the CCP wants to see many countries come. It's just these countries don't
want to come anymore. None of the money, time, or effort spent on Western countries by the CCP
has worked. The CCP diplomacy has failed.
