Fall Bedroom + Shop With Me Haul

[Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] I just got back from HomeGoods, so I wanted to go through some of the things that I got. I'm focusing on my master bedroom because I really didn't get to it last year. There was a few little areas I wanted to spruce up for the holiday season, but there's also some things I wanted to just finish. Since I'm going to be here for another year, I just wanted to add some touches to the bedroom. So to begin, I picked up these frames and I want to do something similar to what I did above this TV with a collage, but this will look a little different because I will just be doing the three above my TV. This is my idea anyway. I think this is what I'm going to do. I thought this was really cool because they came in a little case and it was three for 34 bucks. I felt like that was a really good price and it has the matting and everything. So, my idea is to maybe do some fall images again, kind of like what I did in the living room. But yeah, this will be something I will keep up all year. And then I'll just swap out the pictures. Let's see. I will go through this bag. So, oh yeah, I forgot. I already forgot that I got another frame. This little pumpkin one I thought was really cute. And I think for this one, I'm going to put a little picture of me and the kids because I don't have one picture in my entire house of our family. So, this might be perfect. And I don't know where, but it's going to go somewhere in my bedroom. I did grab one of the garlands. And I do have an idea. I'm going to talk about what I'm going to do with this in a minute. But there was a couple of these. I could not decide. I hope that I got the one the right one. There was some yellowish ones, too, that I really liked. These ones are the felt ones. Listen, I have a million garlands and I cannot help myself. I think every year I get at least one. I did grab some more orange, what are these called? Candles. I wanted to do some in my bedroom. I do have some cool pumpkin ones. They're not even in the frame. Maybe you can kind of see right here. But yeah, I needed a couple more for my bedroom. Oh, speaking of candles, I got this cute pumpkin candle. How cute. I have a tray that sits on my bed that I think this will go on top of. As annoying as those are because you have to constantly move them on and off your bed when you climb into bed every night, I just love the look of them. So, I think I'm going to do a couple things on the tray. Um, let's see what else. My favorite things that I got were these pillows. So, here's one of the Is that upside down? No. This pillow. I love this one. I was trying to find one that would already match the colors that I have on my bedding. So, I don't have to remove anything off. I will just be adding this to it. and this will look really nice. And then to go with this, I found this little pumpkin pillow. I don't know why this is funny to me. Just I don't know why, but I love it. I just think it's so cute. So, I will kind of, you know, place these however on my bed. Okay, I did then stop at Hobby Lobby to grab What did I even need from here? Oh, I was going to go in and look for garland because with the pumpkin garland, I thought it would be cute to mix them with just regular, you know, leaf garland. So, my idea for this is in my bedroom, I have a big mirror, and this is usually where I will take pictures for when I'm sharing fall outfit insp. I do that on Instagram a lot, and I thought it would be cute to just have the mirror decorated because I'm always posting with that mirror. So, that's the idea. However, this is a little bright orange and really the for the most part my bedroom is more of this muted orange. So, we'll see if it ends up looking okay. I don't know. I might nyx this whole thing and just do something else. Who knows what Oh, also from Hobby Lobby. I thought this was so pretty. It was $7 or $8. You really cannot beat the prices at Hobby Lobby. So, my idea for this is to sit above my nightstand. one of my nightstands. I'm going to have like a fall arrangement and then this maybe above it. I'm kind of just thinking out loud. I don't know exactly what I'm going to do. And then I got this from Hobby Lobby, too. This was a little bit ago, but they still had them there. I just thought this was so cute, the little arch frame. Again, I will find some place in my bedroom for this to go. Since I'm doing a haul, I thought I would also share just anything I got this year. And I got a couple things from at home. I did show this in my last video, but we're going to pretend you didn't see that. So, this is a cute little cat pillow. For some reason, the cat is very nostalgic. The black cat with the orange eyes. I love it. Pretty sure they had skeletons and pumpkins and ghosts, but for some reason, the cat was calling to me. And this guy is my favorite. So, this is a little wicker pumpkin witch. How cute is this? I'm pretty sure that they had huge ones because I want to say I've I've seen them all over online, people sharing them. I only saw this little guy and there was only one at my store, but I I'll try to find if they have, you know, if they're even available online or if they have bigger ones and just check the description. I'll try to link what I can. I do know this was not Halloween or fall, but where was where was I when I was checking out at Hobby Lobby? This book has been on my mind for a couple of months. Bobby recommended it to me and I just I don't know why I haven't bought it yet, but I haven't. So, I'm walking to check out and I see it and I'm like, well, it's a sign. I got to grab it. And it's the Jesus Calling book. It's a daily devotional for a whole year. And it's basically like Jesus sending you a message every day. So, I'm excited about this. Again, not fall or Halloween, but while I was at Hobby Lobby, I found these cute clips at checkout. I swear I always end up buying 10 additional things during checkout, but I thought these were so cute. Look at this. It's a little bow clip. This one's gold. And then this one is just this pink plastic one. But how cute would this be if your hair was half up? I'm obsessed. So, these were like a dollar and I couldn't say no. All right, I think that's it for the haul this year. All right, we are going to do a little DIY project using some leaves from the Dollar Tree. So, I grabbed these today. I was actually hoping to find more of like a plumish color and they were nowhere to be found. So, we are going to make them the color that we want. And if you're watching this, then that means that it turned out how I was hoping. I don't even know how many I grabbed. Okay, I think there's nine of them. And here's my plan. I grabbed some craft paint. I got the color Tucson red and khaki. I don't know how much of this I will use, but this is pretty much the color that I want. More of a plumish red color. My idea actually is to leave this up year round in my bedroom. I've wanted a more of a reddish color tree in there. And so, what I'm going to do is use this tree I have behind me. I don't like the stems on it, and I've been wanting to change it up. So, I'm going to just remove the stems off of it and then replace them with this. You can also do this by just going out and finding branches in your yard. So, this can be a really affordable way to make your own tree versus spending a few hundred on one that would look just like it. For me, this cost around $10, $12 with the paint. So, you really can't beat that price. [Music] Hey, hey, hey. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] It is the next day. I needed to run a few errands to get more leaves because I did run out. There was a couple more I needed, but I wanted to show you guys this. When I went to the Dollar Tree the first time, this is what I was looking for. I went to a different Dollar Tree and I found a million of them. I was like, "Well, I would have just not had to paint all of them had I gone to a different Dollar Tree." So, the good news is they do have this color. However, it's still a little more red than the ones I painted. So, I kind of like that I still painted them. But what I'm going to do is just mix this in. So, there will be kind of a two-tone going on, which I think will make it look a little bit more realistic. Anyway, grabbed a couple of these from the Dollar Tree. And yeah, I'm just going to pluck these off and add them to the tree. And then we will get to finishing the rest of the bedroom. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] This is kind of a funny oops. So, I picked up two of these big frames today at Target. And this is just for above the bed. Something else I wanted to do to just kind of finish off my room. I've wanted to have some kind of picture frame up there. So, I got two of them. Thinking I was going to swap out the picture. That was kind of the point. Little did I know, it is literally framed in. For now, I am going to have two of the same pictures above my bed. But I don't care. Maybe in a little bit I will just cut into the back and swap it out, but I just don't have it in me right now. I just don't care. I'm going to get these hung up with some of the command strips. When it's heavy like this, I will use four of them around. One other thing about my bed during the move, I don't know what happened. It's not really broken, but the backboard is completely like it's tilted like this. So, my only hesitation with these pictures is they are going to look like they're crooked because the bed is crooked. But yeah, there's some there's a little bit of tilt to the bed now. So, please don't judge. Actually, I don't care if you do. I'm judging myself. One of these days I'll get a new bed because this was a DIY bed. I did it years ago and I actually helped with a lot of the process. I made the entire backboard which is probably why it hasn't held up. I do not trust myself. Oh no. [Applause] Does that look good?
