Contempo Cafe Tour and Review 2017 | Disney's Contemporary Resort

Hi, this is Jenna with ResortTV1 and today we're heading into the Contemporary Resort to check out their quick service restaurant here. We took the monorail over from the TTC parking lot. I hope you enjoy the video. This is Disney's Contemporary Resort. The Contempo Cafe is the quick service restaurant here at the Contemporary Resort. You do not have to be staying at the Contemporary Resort to eat here. We like to come here quite often. They have really good food. The menus are right here as you walk in to the Contempo Cafe. They have a lot of different options to choose from, from flatbreads to hamburgers to different kinds of sandwiches and salads. They also have gluten-free and vegetarian options as well. As you walk back you can see the bakery items that they have here. They have quite a few good bakery items here. Cookies and muffins and cakes and cupcakes. They actually have the cupcakes over here in the refrigerator section. They are really well known for their cupcakes. Lots of different options. They have drinks over here as well. Sandwiches, sushi, lots of different things in this case. After you decide what you want to eat and pick up any bakery items or drinks from the refrigerator section, this is actually where you go to place your order. So if you want any hot foods, this is where you go. And they'll ring you up at the register right here. And then they actually have quite a few places to sit here at the Contempo Cafe. Lots of dining space here, so lots of places you can choose wherever you'd like to sit. And over here is where they have your condiments and napkins and things like that. And then this is the drink station over here. So they have any kind of Coke products you would want, tea as well and coffee. Here's another view of the dining area. Again they have lots of seats available here. And it's a really neat dining area because you can see the rooms from down here which is pretty cool. And then here's another view of it of the dining area. You can see Chef Mickey's over there and you can actually hear some of the music they play and once in a while see Mickey or Minnie. And then here's a better shot of the beverage station again. And then again you can see a few of the doors that go to the rooms here at the Contemporary. And then there's windows right here along the whole side which makes it really nice and bright inside of the restaurant and the hotel as well. And another view here of the rooms. And one of the really cool things at the Contemporary which you can see from the Contempo Cafe is the mural on the wall. Very, very cool, really neat mural here. The chairs are pretty cool too. I thought they were really neat with the Mickey's carved into the back of the chairs. And then they give you this little tracker and then they find you with this tracker and bring you your food out. One of the really cool things about coming to eat at the Contempo Cafe is the view of the monorail that goes through the Contemporary Resort. So that's a lot of fun. You sit there and you'll see several monorails go through as you eat. And here is our food. Today we decided to go with the flatbread pizzas. I got the plain cheese pizza and then my family got the meat lovers pizza. The flatbreads are very similar to the ones that you can get in the parks but we were in the mood for pizza so that's what we decided to order today and they're very good. And here's one of the reasons that I love to come to the Contempo Cafe is all their different selections of cupcakes. This one was an oreo cream cupcake. This was a really good cupcake. I'd never had it before but if you like oreo you would really enjoy this cupcake. It was a yellow cake and then it had an oreo cream on the inside. Here's a picture or a better look at the inside of the cupcake. It kind of tasted like dirt pudding on the inside if you ever had that. So a cupcake with dirt pudding. It was delicious. So if you're at the Magic Kingdom and would like a different place to eat you can bring the monorail right over to the Contempo Cafe or if you just want to stop by you can park at the TTC parking lot and bring the monorail over to the Contempo Cafe and enjoy dinner or breakfast or lunch or any kind of snack foods that they have here. I would definitely recommend coming over stopping by and at least seeing what kind of cupcakes they have. Make sure you leave a comment and come back for some more great videos.
