But when you touch me like this, and when you hold me like that, I just have to admit that it's all coming back to me.
Hi, I'm Brad.
I'm John.
Now...
We, not too long ago, did a reaction to the Meatloaf cover, basically.
From Tommy Johansson and Kristen Starkey.
What I didn't realize until I was reading the comments was that they actually released two videos on the same day.
On Kristen's YouTube channel, they released another cover.
So they actually did two covers.
They listed it as a cover of Meatloaf, and Marian Raven did the duet, in this case, of the song being It's All Coming Back to Me Now.
Which is a power ballad written by Jim Steinem.
Did a lot of great Meatloaf stuff.
Anyway.
It's normal. It's had three major releases.
I was going to say the name sounds familiar.
It sounds familiar, but not as a Meatloaf song.
That's basically the point.
We're kind of rolling around here.
Because it was kind of written...
Supposedly, Meatloaf says it was written with him in mind, I think, for Bat Out of Hell 2 album.
But they didn't use it for that in the end.
Jim Steinem said, no, you shouldn't do it, because it's really written with a female vocal in mind.
As such...
Like I said, three major releases of this.
It was originally popped up on concept album Original Sin, which is a Pandora's Box album.
The group being Pandora's Box.
They released the single in October of 1989.
So, released in the 80s.
That might be the one I know, then.
That's automatically a plus.
Out in the 80s.
Best I've heard ever.
It did, basically.
There's nothing to write home about.
The one that you really might know...
Was released in July of 1996.
By some lady called Celine Dion.
Where it hit number one on the Canadian chart, number two on the American chart, and number three on the UK charts.
In late 1996.
So, obviously, you know...
Mid-90s.
I know hers is a Titanic one, so...
It was everywhere.
That's the version I know.
Basically.
Maybe this was when Titanic came out.
Maybe.
90s.
It was in and around the same time period, I think.
I probably didn't even know who Celine Dion was until Titanic came out.
Titanic was still...
That song was, like, everywhere.
I'm trying to remember when I worked in the movie theatre, because Titanic was still in the movie...
Still in the movie theatre is when I worked at the movie theatre.
Carl Monber.
Anyway, meant I got to see it for free.
So, anyway.
But, the version that Tommy and Kristen are covering...
Was the Meatloaf version.
Which...
I think was about out of hell free.
He did it with the Norwegian singer, Marian Raven, as I mentioned before.
And they released it as a single in 2006.
So, you know.
Next year.
Right.
It's only 2005, so...
Exactly.
So, they're covering a song that hasn't even released yet.
There's no way we're in 2025.
No, it's 2005.
I don't know why you keep getting this 20 thing wrong.
Anyway.
I'm sure I'm only 30.
I feel 60.
So, are you ready?
Yes.

I'm trying not to sneeze.
Alright.
So...
I'm going to hit play.
Oh, this is of course a Meatloaf song, which means it's a bit longer.
So, you know.
More parts!
There were nights when the wind was so cold
That my body froze in bed
And I just listened to it right outside my window
There were days when the sun was so cruel
That all the tears turned to dust
And I just knew my eyes were drying up forever
I finished crying in the instant that you left
And I can't remember where I went or how
And I banished every memory you and I have ever made
But when you touch me like this
And when you hold me like that
I just have to admit that it's all coming back to me
Also, YouTube, there towards the end, it clipped.
Oh, I do know it.
I just don't know what version.
Yeah, like I said.
I'm actually thinking this is a Meatloaf version.
Oh, could be.
Oh.
I think it sounds an awful lot like him.
Yeah.
Looks a little bit like him.
Yeah.
But when you touch me like this
And when you hold me like that
I just have to admit that it's all coming back to me
When I touch you like this
And I hold you like that
It's so hard to believe but it's all coming back to me
It's all coming back, it's all coming back to me now
There were moments of gold and there were flashes of light
There were things I'd never do again but then they'd always seem right
There were nights of endless pleasure
It was more than every loss allowed
Baby, baby, if I kissed you like this
And if you whispered like that
It was all gone, gone, gone
But it's all coming back to me
If you want me like this
And if you need me like that
It was that long ago but it's all coming back to me
It's so hard to resist and it's all coming back to me
I can barely recall but it's all coming back to me now
Um, this is actually a really good song for Tommy, to be honest
Because it's one of those songs where he effectively really gets to show his voice off
Because, well, because of the way that it is
Because of how he's singing it, similar to how he did it
It's really showing off the power and clarity of his voice
I mean, everything he does is good
But most of the things aren't really what you'd call a show off for his voice
Because it's kind of like, your voice is better than technically what you're doing
Right
Well, they just work so good together
That's true, they really do
In fact, somebody had said in the comments
You know, we wouldn't complain at all
The pair of you just basically worked your way through Meatloaf's entire library
Exactly
Every duet that he did, just do all of them
Most of them are long, so it doesn't matter
But you were history with the slamming of the door
And I made myself so strong again somehow
And I never wasted any of my time on your system
But if I touch you like this
And if you kiss me like that
It was so long ago
But it's all coming back to me
If you touch me like this
And if I kiss you like that
It was gone with the wind
But it's all coming back to me
It's all coming back, it's all coming back to me now
There were moments of gold
And there were flashes of light
There were things we'd never do again
But then they'd always seem right
Last one
Because, you know, YouTube and all that
It was very nice of him to really prove my point about the boys thing
Right after I said it
Oh, yeah, okay
Baby, baby, baby
But when you touch me like this
And when you hold me like that
It was gone with the wind
But it's all coming back to me
When you see me like this
And when I see you like this
When we see what we want to see
It's all coming back to me
The flesh and the fantasies
It's all coming back to me
I can barely recall
But it's all coming back to me now
If you forgive me all this
I'll forgive you all that
We forgive and forget
And it's all coming back to me now
Now, I definitely liked that one better than that last one
Last one was fun
And very enjoyable
And they did a great job doing that
I was in a bar in Stockholm
Owned by Marcus Ericsson, B-type
Anyway, somebody commented that
Thank you
Which I liked
Yeah, that was fun
That was a fun song
This one really showcased his
Well, it showcased her voice as well
But it was more of a serious song
Rather than one of the fun ones
Yeah, I really liked that one
That one was good
But yeah, I mean it's
So easy to imagine them
Doing that out of hell or something like that
Oh yeah, I definitely think they should continue on with it
It's like, do more meatloaf!
Well, it doesn't have to just be meatloaf
It's just a pair of them together
Worked really well
Doing the meatloaf duets
I liked it, I enjoyed it
It was a good call that someone pointed out to us
I completely missed it
Because otherwise we wouldn't have been able to see it
Thank you
