all right I'm back at the cabin and uh I
did a lot of stuff off screen since uh
you last uh saw you working out here I
finished off this end of the cabin all
of the siding I installed my second
light
and uh here's the switch
see if I can get both of those in
and I'm ready
to get working on today's project and
that is I want to wall off
this back area here because in this
corner I'm gonna have a composting
toilet and in this corner I want to
eventually have a shower
so before I can do any of that I need to
partition that off by building a wall
there so that's what I'm going to work
on today so let's get to it
thank you
foreign
I've got just
enough two by fours to build this wall
problem is
one
of these is
got a pretty good twist in it
it's twisted up on that end
in both directions
so I don't know if that's coming across
in the camera very well but uh
I need these to be 75 and a quarter
inches long so
maybe I'll be able to cut most of that
bow out of there and I'll be able to use
all these
so well
that's what I'm gonna try to do anyway
we'll get this first one cut and see if
it's usable
thank you
[Applause]

[Applause]
still got a fair amount of bow in it
all right it's not that bad in that
direction
so I think what I'll do to make this
work is I'll put that on one of the
outside edges so the wall will force it
in
that'll make it snug but uh
what else am I going to do I don't have
enough two by fours otherwise
all right doing this on the ground is
not much of an option for me so I'm
going to try to use my tailgate
as a workbench
thank you
[Applause]
foreign
thank you
all right if you've ever tried to flip
a wall that was only attached on one
side
all the other the studs are flopping in
the wind it's not a pretty sight
a couple of them came loose I need to
tap those down and I can take this in
what's up

and it's flush with that uh
and a rafter
or joist whatever you want to call that
so uh
now it's time to uh take a little break
and then start putting some siding on I
don't have a whole lot of siding left in
fact I know I don't have enough to do
that wall
but I'll do as much as I can
and I'm almost out of nails that
stringing Nails right there is all I got
when this is gone
I'm done

thank you

thank you
all right I'm officially out of nails
so I'm gonna get my flush trim router
bit
and I'm going to Route out that doorway
[Music]
that's as far as I can go
today so I'm going to call this one good
I was hoping to get a little bit more
signing in but I ran out of nails
so uh talk to you guys later
