DIY Off Grid Cabin Build - Episode 27

There's about a one inch gap right there. And the reason for that is when I cut two of these, that's what's left over. So I just have those placed there, they're not attached yet, because I'm considering using those there to eliminate waste. And because I am going to have a batten or, you know, a piece of trim there that will cover that gap up. And let me show you that. So it won't be seen. I'm not crazy about having a gap there, but that would really help out with waste. So I'm going to think about that, see if I want to go that route or not. You'll notice when I'm nailing those on that I'm nailing the top of the one below and the bottom of the one above. And I've noticed that if I don't nail the top, it makes it easier for me to slip the other one on top of it. So that's why I keep nailing the top of the one below it. Nice. Alright. I've got all the siding done on the front. And I know that that center line looks kind of jacked up, but that will be covered with a batten, you know, or piece of trim, whatever you want to call it. So that will not be seen. And then I'll install the corner trim as well. But I think that's going to do it for this video. I keep hearing a bunch of turkeys over there. I can see them. I don't know if the camera's picking it up. They're pretty far back. But there's my group of turkeys. I saw five of them kicking around earlier. I don't know if they're going to come this way or not. But I think that's going to do it for this video. So I'll talk to you guys later.
