What's good everyone, it's Jossi here and today we're going to be unboxing the Apple Watch
Ultra 3 Best Colorway in my opinion. I like distance running and working out so I'm always
excited about the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and we do know that this is more of an iterative update
from a design standpoint but there are some features that have surprised me and even have
me excited about switching back to the Apple Watch Ultra series from my garment. So no difference
to the packaging this year, we're greeted with the Apple Watch Ultra sleeve printed with that
iconic mountain landscape. Apple is really emphasizing an adventurous lifestyle for the
Ultra lineup so I'm happy to see that they're sticking with this type of artwork for their
sleeves. I think unboxing the Apple Watch Ultra is the best out of the fall drops because what I
enjoy about the Apple Watch Ultra unboxing is that it isn't just one box. You get the watch,
you get a band that has its own box. It feels like unwrapping multiple pieces of gear instead
of just one product and this year we're even getting off-grid capabilities which I think is
essential when you're spending this much on a smartwatch so Apple really leaning into that
adventurous lifestyle. So I actually do put the Ultra 3 to its paces. I don't just use it because
it's the most expensive and powerful watch but the battery life display and the extra buttons on the
side and the enhanced running features that you have more access to now with watchOS 26
really matters to me. So let's go ahead and unwrap the watch. So at first glance you may not
notice the changes made but this is still arguably the most advanced display technology in the
smartwatch world. Apple Watch Ultra 3 keeps the same rugged case size but with slimmer bezels and
now you get the biggest display ever on the Apple Watch. It's using Apple's most advanced
screen tech yet wide-angle OLED with LTPO3 as a display should look brighter and easier to read
at a glance without the need to always bring your wrist towards your face.
So
and inside you'll get the standard Apple Watch fast charging cable USB-C on one end with the
puck on the other. This year the focus has been primarily on health features like sleep tracking,
hypertension, notifications, watchOS 26 in general with that beautiful liquid glass design,
UI updates like workout buddy, longer battery life and two-way satellite communications.
So you can connect to satellites to contact emergency services, iMessage friends and family
and if I'm not mistaken your iMessage history and if I'm not mistaken your iMessage history over the
30 years will be maintained in satellite mode and of course you can share your location.
This year's trail loop is ultra thin, lightweight and stretchy made from a nylon weave for a more
comfortable fit. It's adjustable with a pull tab and like I mentioned earlier has a 3M reflective
yarn woven into the edges. So we got the trail loop band in black and this year Apple went all
in on bands. You'll notice 3M woven into the sides of the trail loop and knitted in other bands as
well which I appreciate because I do a ton of road running here in New York City and at night so
to have more coverage and just a visibility for when cars are passing I definitely appreciate
that as a road runner.
Honolulu and it's my first time in Hawaii and just looking out the window at the water might
have been the most blue turquoise water I've ever seen in my life. It looks like
a Disney Channel movie but I decided to turn on the outdoor walk for the Apple Watch Ultra 3
because one half this airport is outside. I've been sweating. I was not expecting 90 degrees
because I've been paying attention to Maui's weather not Honolulu's and also totally forgot
that I have a three-hour layover here in Honolulu and I've been walking back and forth because I
thought my bags were going to be lost. Either way I finally turned the walk on because going from
the Delta Lounge all the way back to gate A is at least a 15-minute walk and I want to make
sure that I get my steps in. I've been really enjoying the new flow exacto graph and waypoint
watch faces especially paired with the upgraded display and that parallax like effect where the
flow face shifts as you move your wrist. Starting a workout is also way more intuitive now with
fewer clicks to get going. Advanced display tech makes a big difference too. The always-on refresh
rate jumps from once a minute to once a second so you can actually see taking hands without
lifting your wrist. The Ultra 3 isn't noticeably lighter than before but the screen is clear at
more anti-reflective coating but that's it for now we'll see how it holds up over time and how
much I continue to enjoy the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and see how much of a difference these updates
and upgrades to the Ultra 3 make on a day-to-day usage. Until next time I'm off to my next adventure
as always stay blessed peace
