Chicago Cubs vs Colorado Rockies - FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | August 30, 2025 MLB Season

225 fastball curve slider. Oh, you just, you just hit me in. Michael Bush climbs in and away we go at Coors. And a fastball in for a strike. But he settled into first and been very productive. On the ground to the right side, Ritter takes that in. And throws out Bush. Back out of way here. Line drive into center field and that's a base hit. Two on, one out. And Happ hits it hard through the right side. And that's a base hit. Clinton Berry is going to hold up Kyle Tucker. And the Cubs in business. Base is loaded and one out. Good. Swing and a ball drilled out towards right center. Doyle on the move and he's there to make the catch. Tagging from third and coming in to score is Kyle Tucker. And that right center field approach works for a sack fly on the Cubs. He's got two aboard. A one-two. And that is in there. Got him. And Pete Crow Armstrong. Javier Assad, a 3-4-2 career ERA. Ground ball rate is up. Small sample so far. That's a ground ball. Porter fields across his body. Flips back to first. The 3-2. On the ground to third. Castro gobbles it up and slings to first. She's a maniac by Michael Cimbello. On the ground to third. Castro will run to the bag, step on it. Handing over. The 2-2. Swing and a miss. And Kelly is gone. Just above that spot earlier in the year. And he takes called strike three. So he wears that guard. The 2-0. Inside. And that one. Get him. Yep. And so now. They're displeased with Brown. Swanson, Bush, and Tucker on the bases. That one back to the pitcher. Brown picks it up, throws him out, and the Cubs leave him loaded. But I believe all four of these guys did not have a single day of big league time prior to this year. That's a base hit into right field. Fernandez not stopping. And the throw is cut off. And now Swanson. They get the tag there. Throw to the plate. There's going to be some obstruction. I don't think they're going to allow that run to score. We'll see. Yeah, Alan Porter has not made a call yet. Liner center field. Pete Crow Armstrong is there. Rockies tie things up. We're at the end of two. It's 1-1. I certainly get that. On the ground to third. Peros to second for one. And that's all they get. On the ground to short. They get one there. Throw to first. Two there. Here's Mickey Moniak now, grounded out his first time. That's bounced to first. Fair ball. Bush over to Assad. Moniak is out. And quickly they're two away, and the Rockies third. Over in Minneapolis. On the ground to short. Swanson collects and throws out Goodman. Fly ball and left. Comes with three hits. Fly ball center field. And Doyle. Line drive. And you're going to have to wait. You're going to have to wait. Maybe he's next to bat. Maybe when we come back. We'll see. Back up closer to what we saw in 2023. On the ground to short. Swanson. To Horner. To Bush. 6-4-3. And Javi's got the ground ball pitch working here tonight. The BBs. 2-1 is hammered to right. And that one back. Freeman. It's over his head and off the wall. And Tucker is to second. And Kyle will stop there. It's a double for Kyle Tucker. Drilled to center. Doyle tracking back. Back some more. It's over his head. There's Tucker. Barry's going to send him. The throw will not be made. Tucker scores. And half into second. It's a rocket double to center field. Line drive. Left center field towards the gap. And Moniak able to make the catch. And tagging and coming in to score is Seah Suzuki. Yeah. Go to popped up. Ritter going out. Doyle coming in. And Doyle has it. Cubs score twice and take the lead. On the ground. And Horner flips to second for one. On to first. 2-4-6-3. As Junkiel Fernandez hits into the double play. The 1-1. Fly ball center field. Doyle back. Back some more. Near the wall. And it's off the top of the wall. And Bush racing for second. On his way to third. And Michael's got a triple. Just missed getting it out of here. Michael Bush with his fourth triple. Line drive. Base hit. Right field. Kyle Tucker. Bush comes in. And it's 4-1, Cubs. On the ground. Softly hit. And scooped up. Step on second. Can't throw to first. And they get the out. Did he have control at second base is the question. Leaned heavily to the right. Fly ball center field. Pete Crow Armstrong back. Near the wall. And it's off the top of the wall. Tucker there to pick it up. Freeman around third. Coming in to score. The throw to third. Gets away from Castro. It'll be an RBI triple for Mickey Moniak. And it's 4-2. Playing back. Center field. PCA. And Moniak will tag as Pete fires it to the plate. Fly ball right field. Tucker back. And Kyle has it. And that is out number three. Yeah, right. On the ground to first. Arcia. The series against the Giants. Line drive. And that's caught by Ritter. Ball tipped into the mid of Goodman. Struck him out. Shaw is gone. It's a 4-3 game. Time to stretch. That one bounced to short. And Dansby Swanson. Liner to right field. Tucker waits for it. And has it. And a swing and a miss. Struck him out. Kittredge comes in. Gets a 1-2-3. And that one is caught. And they'll turn it into two. That's fouled. Tipped into the mid of Goodman. Struck him out. Time against the Angels. Tap softly. Horner charges. Freeman is out one away. So Keller retires the leadoff man. 17 and a third. And he's allowed just three hits in that stretch. Bounced towards first. That's a fair ball. Bush will take it. And quickly there are two outs. And Brad will take that. Keller delivers the 2-2. That's the third. And he gets him to ground out on eight pitches. The right side ritter. Throws him out. Horner in the air right field. And Freeman. 3-2. Towards first. Arcia. And he beats PCA to the bag. And will go to the bottom of the ninth. 3-2 pitch. And that is in there. Got him. Painted the inside edge. Alex McKay rings him up. And there's one out. Little roller up along first. Palencia puts the tag on it. What about that? Traded Chaffin to the A's the end of July of 21. Here's the pitch. In there. Palencia fires. Got him. Ball game. Cubs win. A one-run win here at Coors Field.
