Portable Retro Gaming Console

what's up guys so while going through uh AliExpress uh when I was trying to buy some few things I came across this cool looking retro Style with the joystick gaming console it is a 10in gaming console but brand name is p Kitty and model number is a13 and U I'm actually not a gamer personally myself I bought it for my kids and it looked really cool like the old style where you go to a shop or arcade and you will use the joystick and buttons play with it it felt like that and I really liked it so I ordered it wanted to check it out and see if I can gift it to my kids so let's check it out guys let's see how it works and again this is the first time I am opening it myself so if anything anything is wrong you will find out along with me I haven't tried it myself and even haven't opened it myself packing is really sophisticated as for the price I mean uh these foam areas can really protect it so let's bring it out I did not like the external packaging but I do like the internal one so let's see nice that's pretty much it only two things came out of it this is a cable let's see what kind of cable it is what type of cable it is along with some documentation I hope it is Type C okay this is Type C that's good I hate micro USBs so this is Type C as you can see and I can guess that it is 1 M and okay quality cable now it's like braided or something so USB type A to type c one M cable you have some documentation here and uh it is written in English and Chinese so both are here but let's see this one is the top side there you go the gaming console this is its size like guess with my hand like how much it is and uh it is in red I only found it in red I don't think it is available in other colors so plastic is above average quality doesn't feel cheap in any way uh feels solid when you hold it there is a weight to it you have some rubber pads let me show you the ports before I open it up if you can see it the ports here we have the HDMI port because it can output HD this is these two ports USB ports are for controllers you can attach controllers and play with others and this is for headphone jack because it has better speakers but you can also attach the headphone jack this is the G gaming card like TF card slot you can buy it without the card but I bought it with the card so that it has some buil-in games in it in it this one is a 64GB SD card already inserted here and then you have the DC type-c input this is the onof button so let's open it up is it already on or am I dreaming they have applied plastic papers all over things to avoid scratches I think they are saying that there is a cover here on the screen as well which they say please peel of this mask after application completed but wise we have few buttons here this one if let me bring it closer so you have select start I think this is back button or return button this is volume control button and I think these are speakers these are function keys total six function keys this is for the joystick which will be here so let's bring out the joystick they have moed the joystick portable so that you can easily carry it so that once you have car uh used it you can actually put it here and carry it easily by folding it and once you're ready to use it just plug it in and you're good to go see oh it is already on problem is this is in Chinese can I go in any English or something like that want to change the language now this is my first challeng find the language all right I have figured out how to change the language but first let me show you the key map here so I use Google Translate like the live image translation in which you show something and it translates it live I use it to find it so let me show you how to do it in case you get stuck with it too like me so go to this last option and if you see uh with the Google translate it should say set up something like that so I I want to come to this option like where this one you can go with left and right since we need to move right so let's move right now we are on the set option now if we see through our scan Live Scan let's see see the first option is say says language setting so let's select the again is for select and you can see it says English at the bottom let's select that one and let's go back and everything is in back in English if you go back you have files all the files here settings scan favorite games saved games then you have these simulators like Game Boy simulators it has bunch of simulators for game and these are the games by the way on the screen there is another screen protector that I can see so it is giving me like the option to select plays just like in arcade games we used to play I'm just keep insert coin how do I enter [Laughter] coins speakers are quite good by the way for the I mean for gaming console of this style speakers are really good and I getting the same Vibe as I used to with the arcade games really cool now I have to figure out how do I insert coins iing the select button gives me credit let me get some credits here this is are like coins or something like that and then let's start please know that I am not a gamer I really played and I intend to give this to my kids so if you're are finding me stupid or something please be gentle and go easy on me because I am not a gamer myself I'm just trying to enjoy it which one is and I forgot the HP bar heads the sounds and everything man it is exactly like that can I exit it I can actually save the state as well you can see so let's see I just save the state and then just go back exit Okay so let's see if it picked up the like the saved State let me go if I go right now you can see that there is one saved State here this is the one that I was playing so it's save the state this is the maximum brightness that you can see which is under like studio lights this is without the studio lights there are still room lights on but without the studio lights and I think it's price enough like if you're playing it uh for the price the price is more than enough actually this thing is a 10in screen right here can output its resolution is 1024x 600 HD can output HD to TVs as well if you have want to play it on big screens it has build-in scpt speaker can support maximum card of 64 G by a 4,000 M hour battery so I was playing games it was full now it has dropped one bar so maybe it can last you around two hours or so if you're continuously playing I'm not sure only time will tell and it they say that it's for fast charging it is Type C based charging so I'm hoping it will 10 gaming simulators are already installed here you can go inside them and select their specific games uh how many games are here let me show you there are plenty I'm just going to say that and because I it is not possible for me to show you all the list it's long last thing that I want to show is connecting is with the TV so let's take it and connect it to a TV and let's see how it goes so here you can see that I have connected it to my 55 in TCL TV and all the menus are and everything you can see that are clear it is outputting at 720p so full HD output is going through this TV usually its own resolution is 600p but it is outputting to the TV at an HD output which is even better so let me load some game and let's see how it plays out once it connects through the HDMI if you can see it turns everything off and in the TV you can see everything volume and even it's battery controls so let me give it a try the sound is coming from the TV as well so if you buy a wireless HDMI you can totally sit on your sofa and try it out Victory i1 55 in gaming arcade this is really cool this was the P Kitty a13 model the gaming console like retro one with a joystick and uh again I ordered it for to AliExpress at the price of $89 or $84 at the time of making this video and I think to be honest with the hardware and everything you get is $84 isn't a lot to ask along with the 64GB card filled with games that you ask it is all the experience of of the old style arcade games I over really enjoyed it and if you are someone who is looking for this arcade style experience or want to give something
