There's so many amazing restaurants in Lisbon it was so difficult to narrow it down but we've narrowed it down to our top 12. Whether you're a big foodie or simply seeking a great dining experience stay tuned as we take you on our culinary tour of the top restaurants in Lisbon. So here we are we're in Lisbon we are here for weeks and we're going to check out as many restaurants as we can to find out what are our top restaurants in Lisbon okay we're at the uh at a medieval restaurant right now uh tobra dores i think is the name of it seen it on youtube for a lot of times um and it's like a medieval type place i think we got to go down to the basement we're hoping to have some flaming sausage chorizo i think they have these spicy prawns that are good and some mead if we want some mead so let's go in and see how it is but this kind of could be a cool experience so we've never had mead before and here's some mead so let's try the mead so give it a taste see what you think all right tell me what this tastes like what is it it's sweet tastes like honey really okay oh cool okay so we are cooking our own sausage here right now with our mead and we have some bread this is really medieval she said that it was already smoked the chorizo so now we're just charring it wow you can hear it sizzling so now we have is it garlic prawns garlic prawns to go with our sausage but that was an experience really fun what a great way to start our food experience here in linden so we'll be heading off to more restaurants that we'll see what's next but that was fun at number 11 we really liked restaurante alotta it was on a beautiful little street amongst so many other restaurants the service was so friendly they offered some great traditional portuguese food and it was delicious traditional portuguese green soup caldeverde let's just have a little look at what's in there oh lots of nice greens oh and i can see some chorizo too okay we've got sardinha assadas nice greens looking beautiful looking potatoes and four lovely looking sardines with the red pepper so whoa our number 10 restaurant is one of lisbon's most talked about spots gin lovers bar and restaurant it's located in a unique space on the ground floor of the embajada building a neo-moorish palace from the 1800s so if you're a gin enthusiast this place is for you with over 150 varieties of gin to choose from okay we're in gin lovers bar and restaurant and they have all these different gins so we're going to try and have a bit of gin and some lunch but this is different this is really interesting okay so we got we also ordered as an appetizer to share here some fried squid and there's a hot sauce in the middle so looks pretty good let's check it out so we have a called a lover's burger and it included homemade crisps or tenner chips all right let's cut into this and then we have a caesar oh that's a good looking caesar isn't it yes all right so our number nine restaurant is regador 23 located in the heart of lisbon with an inviting patio it specializes in fresh innovative portuguese dishes in a relaxed setting which is cod with potato and egg made it to a delicious dish i'm happy about that and looking forward to digging into that but caught in there i mean that's the perfect perfect ratio potato and egg and there's even i think a little bit of onion there in there too yeah that's perfect flavor and then we've got peri-peri chicken with fries and salad that looks good doesn't it if we add that peri-peri sauce like a grilled salmon yeah with little potatoes and a salad don't miss regador 23 definitely worth a visit when you come to lisbon stop in at this little cafe it's called la petite cafe let's just stop in here and it's a really nice little uh patio here so let's just stop in i'm really in the let's get some cod at la petite cafe so these are chicken samosas and what does that look like that's like a a mango sauce or something well we'll see in a minute wow that's really good a little bit of a spice to it just a bit so this is their house cod um i'm not sure what way they styled it there's so many ways to make uh bacula looks delicious though wow and that potato is so delicious the perfect complement to the cod so welcome to our number seven restaurant terrazzo editorial what a culinary experience at this stunning spot with breathtaking views over the beautiful city of so this is like cauliflower pastry right yes okay let's just see what's in there and this is a coddlefish ink in there we have chicken boneless chicken okay we've got fresh cod fish with there's like a green it's like a pea emulsion like a pureed pea with really flavorful there's a really really well with the body to melt in your mouth falling apart from delectable dishes to a chic vibrant atmosphere is a must-do amazing dining experience there's several amazing beach trips you can take while you're in lisbon and one is to the beautiful seaside town of cascais cascais has many fantastic restaurants we found our number six restaurant aqua farina this is a beautiful place to sit and eat with a relaxed outdoor atmosphere the restaurant serves up friendly service and delicious amazing italian dishes look at it oh this looks all right okay let's try this very good the tomato and the cheese really blends together just perfectly that's a good crunch you can't get anything better than this well catch that bread ketchup with like a prosciutto a salami prosciutto parmesan and truffle oil oh oh it was foods you have to experience one is buffalo and the other is period period chicken they're just must tries both of them many people enjoy going to otrego restaurant for a buffalo sandwich but our favorite spot is buffalo solar da madalena it's a small family restaurant that specializes in buffalo for a very reasonable price and they're delicious bon jardin is famous for peri-peri chicken for good reason the chicken is moist and delicious and the peri-peri sauce just amazing it's a must-try location for peri-peri and don't miss timeout market it brings together the city's best chefs and food vendors in one place offering a wide variety of portuguese and international dishes with an innovative twist in an open vibrant atmosphere the number five spot on our restaurant list is lumi rooftop restaurant a stylish modern stop known for its stunning views of lisbon carrot soup with some little crusty crouton bread things oh yeah shaved nut pine nuts it looks really good okay what do we got there what is that fries crispy fries and we've got pork there we go yo these are king spicy king prawns we loved it here from the service the view and the fantastic food don't miss lumi the number four restaurant on our list is rosettas a small delightful restaurant that delivers amazing food rosettas combines the best cuisine with a cozy friendly atmosphere take a look at some of this mouth-watering food so this is anchovies with peppers looks like a roasted pepper and this was burrata yeah now we have tuna crudo with romesco but wow so yeah so now we have mussels with asparagus and tomato salad but i can see look at the size of that one muscle there and there's another one on the other side huge wow this looks good and everything is fantastic so far i expect this to be just as good hey we've got cheesecake here and we couldn't wait to get into it but we're now into it i'd like to see how that cheesecake goes um rosettas is a wonderful intimate culinary experience a must try our number three restaurant is leve leve a cozy spot that brings the flavors of amazing tapas the vibrant decor sets the perfect mood for a fun dining experience and we've ordered what we call a dirty nacho so it looks like it has guac and some meat with maybe maybe sour cream looking delicious let's get going on it then some cheese okay so now we have at leve leve we have some padron pepper oh wow they look good and we have some chicken skewers with some peanut sauce looking delicious a little bit we have sardines what style were they sardines like lisbon style or something wow the sardines are looking delicious north americans like a few sardines but we've been sardines so many times so far in lisbon who have been so delicious another sardine tapas with some peel and a little bit of onion looks like a little bit of oregano on top the bread is a bit of crisp to it the sardines is melt in your mouth perfect flavor let's eat more sardines because this is wonderful leve leve offers a feast for the senses the flavors are rich bold and absolutely mouthwatering our number two restaurant on our list is club de journalistas this is probably the most exclusive dining experience we had while we were in lisbon as you walk in you can feel you're somewhere special we sat in their beautiful outdoor patio okay so here i am i've got eggplant with a miso caramel sauce and pistachios looks amazing goodness gracious wow that caramel miso is just amazing and the crunch of the pistachio it just completely highlights the eggplant just brings it to life amazing and we have pumpkin soup with cream cheese with cream cheese and pumpkin seeds and seared salmon with cured black pork sausage risotto with asparagus wow looks really nice the cured ham it's just delicious there's that bit of fattiness to it that is perfect but the freshness of the asparagus just shines right through too it's just overwhelming flavor it's just fabulous and there's the open envelope with all the oh sweets to finish sweets to finish okay let's check those out for dessert so we have chocolate cake and that is a log okay that is a log looking really good and we have chocolate soup with a crumble and there's bananas in here i think chocolate soup it's not just the ambiance that's sophisticated here the food is at another level club de journalistas is a must-do dining experience when you're in lisbon now across the street is a place called old portuguese teatro ranked pretty high on google so we're going to hit that place hopefully it's great stay with us and enjoy it was great portuguese teatro is our number one restaurant it's nestled in lisbon's vibrant teatro district it's a charming blend of rustic elegance and a contemporary flair the menu celebrates portugal's culinary heritage salty cod croquette looks good you know nice you can see like the strings of cod in there the little fibers of cod really nice oh and look at that so that is salmon tartar wow wow this restaurant is nice the cod is just like potatoes and then i've got what is it called yeah that's nice helping your mouth this teatro gym promises
