Just take a look at this beauty right here.
Hey Pennapintures, welcome back to my channel. I hope everyone's having an amazing day.
This is your glamorous Pennapinture Shalomi and today we are going to decorate my Christmas tree.
So if this is something you want to see, you know exactly what to do guys. Just keep on watching.
Okay guys, so those of you who have been with me for a while, you know exactly where the tree is
going. It's going right here. This is where it goes every year and it's in clear line aside of
when you come through the front doors. So I'm going to remove these lanterns from the ground
here and then I'm going to bring the tree in. Okay guys, so I have placed the first two pieces on
and I am going to start fluffing it out. This year I wanted to go with a tree that does not
have any flocking at all and I'm going to pretty much do that throughout the house where all of my
pieces are just strictly green pieces with no flocking. So I'm going to start fluffing the
tree and then we'll talk all about it. Guys, when you fluff your tree, you want to make sure that
you're touching every single branch, even the ones in the back. Even though my tree is backed
up to the window or to a wall, you want to make sure that when you look at the tree, if there are
any gaps that you can see through, it should look just as fluffy as the front. You don't want to be
looking at it from the front through any little gaps and see like a big open space in the back
because you haven't fluffed it. So touch every branch and make sure that the tree is nicely
fluffed. The more you fluff it, the fuller it looks and you'll be better able to place your
ornaments where they need to go. Okay guys, this is the tree after fluffing. This tree is the King
of Christmas seven and a half feet Rushmore artificial tree. As you can see, it comes pre-lit
with 750 warm LED lights. It also has a remote control for changing the settings of your lighting.
It also has those beautiful gloves that I was using to fluff the tree. That way you don't get
the little prickles and pricks on your fingers. Easy on the hands and it also has a bag for
storing. This Rushmore tree also comes in the flocked version. That is what I had last year,
but for this year, as I stated earlier, I want it to go completely green for the classic nostalgic
Christmas look and feel. Okay guys, so I just wanted to show you some of the items that I have
out that I will be pulling from. I have these bins and yes, I know they look familiar. These
are all from the Christmas warehouse sale that I went to in August. So I have these things out here
to pull. I also have some of these spheres that have lights on them and I have some ribbons,
some gems, and some more picks and sprays. Alright, so we're gonna get started and
we'll see how everything comes together. Alright guys, I have made a multi-layered bow as you can
see here. I have like five different ribbons that I'm using for this one because I want to put it at
the top. So I wanted it to be bold and I wanted it to kind of feature the colors that I will have
going throughout the tree. So usually I do my toppers at the end, but I'm gonna put this on
now just to show you what it looks like. Here is the bow guys that I've added. I've added it right
there at the top and then up here I'll add some picks and sprays and stuff later. But just wanted
to show you the bow that I've added and what I'm gonna do now is I'm gonna add some other elements
to it like some bigger pieces and I'll come back and show you what those look like. Alright guys,
I told you I was gonna add some elements to it and this is what I did. So I added these spheres
to it and I've just put some of the bigger ornaments and when the light reflects on it,
it just looks absolutely amazing. I have four of these so I have it kind of angled across
and then down one here and one on this side and then what I've done is I've just started to
put some toward the spine of the tree to kind of cover up those gaps as you are looking through.
So I'm gonna continue doing that and then I'll come back and show you what that looks like.
Alright guys, I have started to add some ornaments and stuff to it and I'm using
the bigger ornaments for this tree. As you can see, I have a lot of gaps in here. This tree is
not as dense as let's say the prince tree so I have to be really strategic about making sure
that you're not looking through. So I'm gonna add some branches and stuff to it just to get
rid of some of the gaps and then I'm gonna start adding more ornaments. I have some of these
branches from a while back. I usually use them like in a jar or something to put on my island
but I'm gonna use these and I'm gonna start sticking them where those empty gaps are. First,
you just want to make sure that they're fluffed. Pull them out because they have been laying flat
for the entire year. So spread the branches out and then just start sticking them where you have
all of your gaps. What I've done is I have made a hook like bend the branch on the end so that
when I push it in the tree, I can hook this part to a branch or something closer to the back so
that it doesn't come out once I've set it in place. You also want to put it in at an angle
so that it looks like it's growing out of the tree. Okay GPPs, I added some more ornaments
and as you can see I added a few more bows as well. This one I have here in the center
and I added this little jewel piece. I love the way that looks right there.
Yes, I'm working my way around. I'm going to add some picks in the other areas but I'm loving the
way it's turning out. I haven't done the topper yet, just the bow to start but I'll be adding some
picks and stuff to this area right here just looking like it's coming out of the bow.
Alright, so I'm gonna continue working. I also added some clusters. So like this right here
is one piece and then there's another one right here. I particularly love these ornaments,
these see-through ones that are a little bit iridescent. I just love the way the light reflects
off of them. So if you are decorating and you want that effect, these are really good to have.
The light bounces off of it real beautifully. Alright guys, it's coming together real nicely.
I added some more picks as well as ornaments and I'm gonna just take a pause and work on the top
and once I work on the top, I will come back down and tweak the rest of it but I think it
is absolutely stunning so far and I can't wait to finish it all together. Okay guys, I'm all done
and this is what the tree looks like. It turned out absolutely amazing. Let me take you in closer
and share all the items and where I got them from. As I said at the top of the video,
this is a King of Christmas seven and a half feet Rushmore tree and I will leave a link below for
you to go ahead and check this tree out. It is absolutely amazing and I have had the best time
decorating it. We're gonna start from the very top. So at the top, you see I've created
the topper using a lot of sprays and picks. These are all picks and sprays that I picked up from
the Christmas warehouse sale. I have just a couple in here that I've had from a few years ago which
are these cute little feathers but everything else came from the Christmas warehouse sale.
Now, let's talk about this ribbon, okay, or this bow. These are all ribbons that I got from the
Christmas warehouse sale also as well as Goodwill, believe it or not. Remember about a month and a
half or so ago I shared with you that I found a whole container of different ribbons at the Goodwill?
Yes, that would be one of them would be this beautiful one here as well as this houndstooth
one. Found those at Goodwill and look how absolutely beautiful they are when they are
mixed together. Moving right along, you'll also see some of like the florals and stuff
from the Christmas warehouse sale as well as this gorgeous ornament right here.
More from the Christmas warehouse sale there and this beauty right here I picked up at Hobby Lobby.
They are $8.99 and then 50% off. I also got these beautiful bows from Hobby Lobby. They are velvet.
When I went back there about a week ago they were all gone but go ahead and check your Hobby Lobby
if it's something that you're interested in to see if they have more. Guys, now I know you are
curious about these beautiful spheres that I'm using. I sourced these from Facebook Marketplace
so I got a set of three first. So it's this one, the one here at the base of the tree,
and this other one on the other side. I got those on Facebook Marketplace and then I wanted another
one so I found another lady on Facebook Marketplace and I purchased this one for her. So guys, don't
run out to buy stuff full price. Check your local thrift shops and Facebook Marketplace and all
those places first before you go ahead and you know make purchases. Then let's talk about these
other bows. So this one which is a Harlequin bow is from my tree last year and I just kept them
you know folded really nicely to secure them throughout the year and all I did was I added
this red one as well as this black one on top to make this super cute bow and I love the pop
that this Harlequin ribbon gives the tree. Then I placed this beautiful jewel piece. This is
also from Hobby Lobby and I think it just looks amazing with the you know the entire thing put
together. This mercury glass ornament also came from the Christmas warehouse sale as well as these
smaller ones inside the sphere. These are beautiful and I love the way that this shiny one right here
captures the lighting from the sphere itself. I also got these red ones from the Christmas
warehouse sale as well and then this cluster right here all I did was I used these three. They were
all together on one string and I added the red for that pop but these ones are from my tree last year
as well. So guys when you're decorating your tree look at what you have already and see what you can
pair it with instead of going out and buying like the entire set or the different pieces of any
home decor Christmas or not and see what you have and then add to that. At the base of the tree what
I did because I have the spheres here on either side I just went in with the larger ornaments
to the floor instead of using a tree skirt. Now I wish I had more spheres I would have taken it all
around from one side to the next but I just used what I had improvised and added these extra
ornaments at the bottom and I kind of added some more behind these ones so that way if you are
standing and looking directly at the tree then there wouldn't be the gaps
underneath it which would show that there is no tree skirt. Everything else guys is just a
repeat of the same. I just spread my ornaments and my picks and stuff all over the tree to create
this beauty. At the base of the tree to the very back I added these Christmas ornaments. These are
the giant ones that are inflatable. I've had these for a while and never used them but the reason why
I placed them toward the back is so that when you look through the spheres you can see that there
is some kind of color going on behind it as opposed to leaving that area just empty.
I have these on both sides of the tree just to add some more color and add some more depth.
