What would happen if this tip evolved into something much better? Well, stay because we're going to see it. Welcome to the Artemaster channel! Today we are going to make a drawing of Dragon Ball and also a review of these new alcohol markers, and they promise a lot because they have a new tip that you had never seen before. Of course you will have the links in the description, and now, let's start! These new markers are from the Ohuhu brand of the Honolulu S series, and these new markers have a set of 24, 48 and 60 units. The 24 is a set of skin tones, the 48 is a set that contains varied colors, and the 60 is the same but with some more colors. Now, why are they new markers? Well, look at this, and yes, it has a brush tip and a different one. That new different tip is not the usual beveled tip, but it has evolved. Let's take a look at the flat tip of all life, it's this one here. And now look at the new one. As you can see, it is also a beveled tip, but it has some very interesting new features. The very base of the tip to begin with is much shorter, as well as here you can see that its rectangular part has also decreased in size being flatter, having then a much more precise tip, thinner, more angular, and freak out with this, this is the first flexible beveled tip! When I saw this tip for the first time, I couldn't believe what kind of genius had invented this beveled tip. It is very soft and flexible, and at the same time it is still rigid, being able to serve then to still make continuous lines like this, for example, here we are seeing with the old one, and here with the new one, where when making these movements the tip adapts much better since it has the flexibility. By the way, each of these sets comes with your cards so that you can fill in the colors and see how they really look once they are on paper. This is something that I always recommend doing, since it is not the same as seeing the cover of the color than later how it looks on paper. So these are the real tones that we would get from these sets. Since I have these 3 new sets, I am going to use this beautiful rotating bamboo organizer to order them much better. The fabric package is not bad, but if I can have them all organized in this beautiful organizer, well, better than better. In addition, I am going to take the opportunity to put the markers for color areas, for example, an area of ​​blue colors, another of green, yellow, etc. So when I look for a color, I won't be 5 minutes to find it. And I'm also going to put these markers in the space I have left. And well, now we are completely ready to start showing how these new tips work. This is a normal beveled tip as always. Normally, being realistic, this tip is not usually liked by everyone. In fact, I am one of the people who do not like this flat tip too much. I would say that these tips, the adjective I would give them is unstable. They don't give me any confidence, since their tip is enough. As you can see, when making strokes, to fill large areas, it goes well, although if you want to be a little more precise, you usually get out of line. Sometimes you also can't perfectly match the rectangular flat base on the paper, and that causes you to make irregular strokes, some very wide, others very narrow. And as you can see, when we paint with them, they leave the marks of the straight strokes. Since if you wanted to paint in circles, you would simply use the tip of the brush. But look at the difference there is when we use this new flexible tip, which is really amazing. It is true that it is a little smaller, but it is still the beveled tip to fill backgrounds, which will be luxurious for you anyway, but at the same time it is like a kind of brush. Notice how easily I am filling all these areas that have small holes, and with the help of the tip I am doing it without any problem. This tip is the natural evolution that the normal beveled tips had to have, yes or yes with time. Do you remember when, just a few years ago, we all had to charge our mobile phones with a micro USB charger? And of course, do you also remember that we all hated it until they changed to the blessed USB-C? Well, this is the same, we have gone from the beveled flat tip of all life to this wonder. Basically, this is what happens when you use the old beveled tip, that everything is disgusting, the coloring, really, it is very difficult to do it well. There will be those who like the beveled tip of all life, but of course I think it is quite limited to making backgrounds and little else. So to show all the potential of this tip, I will be making this drawing of Goku in Super Saiyan 3 using only these tips for the whole drawing. Look here between the spaces of the bristles when I am painting the sky blue, and I don't want any of the blue color to get into the hairline, I can tilt the tip using its thin side tip to do it with enough precision. And then with a simple turn, I go back to the flat tip to continue filling all that blue space that is the sky. When painting with this tip, it does not feel as vast as with the beveled tip of all life, but it adapts, so to speak, to the paper. It is that it really is as if you painted with a brush tip but with all the benefits that a beveled tip brings, since it serves to perfectly fill large areas like the one you are seeing now, but also for fine details. Obviously, we must also take into account that, although today we are doing a kind of challenge just using this tip, on the other side we have the brush tip, so I think this is definitely the perfect marker. I would say that the beveled tip markers of all life are more for technical drawing and all that, and this new tip focuses more on artistic drawing, anime, illustration and all that, since with its fine tip we can also fill in small areas. Without a doubt, if you are a novice, it will be very easy for you to use this type of tip. Here you can see how in the rocks I am also doing gradients, since for that very reason it also behaves very well. Obviously, to make a gradient, the best thing will surely be to use the brush tip, which is for that, but I have to say that thanks to this tip, which is soft and flexible, it adapts quite well to the paper, being able to make a fairly uniform gradient and with great ease. In fact, this new tip won the Red Dot 2024 and Moose Gold 2024 awards, which are basically very important international awards in the world of design. As for the sets, I do have to say that of course, if you buy the set of 24 units, you only get a set of skin colors, so you would actually have to make a kind of mix like the one I am doing with the 3 sets, or buy the 24 and 48, or the 24 and 60, in that way you would complement a lot and you would have a bit of all kinds of colors. Although this is actually if you only wanted to have these markers with those new tips, but you could mix them perfectly with the Ohuhu of all life, since the codes and the pigment are still exactly the same, the only thing they have changed are the tips. Continuing with the drawing, now we are going to go here to the mechones, where you will see that they are very versatile, because notice that here already the strokes of this type that we are doing, pointed, are very fine and we can do them equally. Of course, here, as I say, it does not make much sense to use this tip to make this type of details, since we also have the brush tip on the other side, but so that you can see the effectiveness that it can also be done. At this point I would only have to talk about the prices, which we have not mentioned yet and it is important. We have the 24 that comes out for about 30 euros or about 35 dollars more or less, we also have the set of 48 that comes out for about 47 euros or what would be about 55 dollars more or less, and then we have the largest set of 60 units that comes out for about 56 euros or about 60 and a few dollars, so approximately we would get 1 euro each marker and considering that other brands that you already know are very expensive and even multiply this amount by 5, I think they are quite good. The only thing I don't like is that there is not a much larger set with all these new tips of for example, I don't know, 200 units, so in the future I hope that Ohuhu considers making this type of sets so massive because the truth is that I think it would be worth it.
