Is it possible for me to ride a MotoGP bike?
Well, I know most of you guys are coming for biking content.
So as you might see here, I'm actually working on a new project, which is pretty exciting.
But in the meantime, I actually got the chance to try something really crazy.
I think I never thought I would actually be able to try something like that.
And you know, I love two wheels.
So yeah, I just hope you're gonna enjoy this.
Let's go.
Well, that's the challenge for today.
That's what we want to find out.
I got experience racing 10 years of motocross, but this is obviously a way different world.
This is a 2023 MotoGP bike.
It got 360 kilometers per hour top speed.
So it's a proper weapon.
You can't buy these bikes.
They're all a prototype.
And there are very, very few people in this world that actually get the chance to ride one of these.
But before even thinking about stepping onto one of these, we need to take a step back.
We've got a Moto2 bike.
This one has 290 kilometers per hour top speed.
Pure racing.
Prototype again.
You can't buy them.
But before that, again, we need to take a step back.
We've got the KTM RC8C.
Top speed is 245 kilometers per hour.
Pretty quick, I would say.
But before stepping onto one of the big bikes, I've been told I need to start out very, very small.
Guys, you really need to start out like that.
All right.
Okay, guys, now I'm fully geared up.
And next to me is an Austrian motorcycle legend, Gusle Auinger.
Servus, Gusle.
Servus, Fabio.
Why do you think I should start out on such a small bike?
You have a big goal.
You want to ride the MotoGP bike.
But like every pro, you have to start with the right device.
MiniGP, Moto3, Moto2, MotoGP.
But not in 15 minutes.
Exactly.
Okay, they're really not big, are they?
Not bad.
You're already three laps, three seconds faster.
Really?
Are you talking about lap times or what?
Yes.
It's always about lap times.
Oh, that's awesome.
Yeah, I'm really enjoying this.
Let's see how he does these right turns.
Then he turns into the left turn.
With the body mass that moves on the small motorcycle in a very short time.
And the whole thing is so harmonious and so calm.
So without whining, he can't expect more in the short time.
He's doing a fantastic job.
Ah.
I'm not sure if I can do it.
Awesome, thank you.
You're riding strong.
Now we have to think of something soon, because now it's getting too fast for us.
That's probably one of the best things I've done in a very, very long time.
Apart from biking, of course.
But this is fun.
Once I almost crashed with an elbow on a tree.
That was my highlight.
But?
It was down there.
Show me, I want to see.
No, it was on the left, but there's nothing, right?
Yes.
No.
It's a little white.
Yes, there you are.
Dude, did I fall over or what?
No, I have to say, it was from the beginning.
Really?
Yes.
No, I can't believe it.
You're crazy.
No, it felt like a millimeter.
So we're now done with the mini-motor stuff, which is actually super fun.
Felt like a really good training for the technique and everything.
And now it's time to step it up.
So, this is the AC8C.
The first step on the main track.
It's short, but exhausting.
That's enough, actually.
I'm not doubting that.
It definitely looks faster.
Really good!
Thank you.
This is awesome.
It was insane.
Crazy feeling.
You can trust the bike, you can trust the tires, the grip.
This is actually so fun.
It's crazy when you go full on down here.
Okay guys, we just finished day one.
It's a wrap.
It's been actually incredible.
First time on a racetrack with a motorcycle.
So everything was pretty new for me.
But honestly, it felt better lap by lap.
And I've been getting more and more comfortable.
So yeah, I think we're one step closer to the dream.
Of riding a motogp bike.
Which is hopefully going to happen tomorrow.
So now we're going to get some rest.
Get some good sleep.
And see you guys tomorrow.
Hey!
Good to see you.
How are you doing?
All good?
Yeah, all good.
A bit nervous.
But I'm really excited.
Really excited.
So yeah, I'm hoping a lot on you.
To give me some very helpful tips.
Because you're actually the only one around here.
Which I can actually ask for it.
How was the impression of the track?
It's so wide.
It's so long.
And you need to look so far in front.
But it's incredible fun.
Like everything.
Because when you're learning, you have to use your brain all the time.
And don't forget this.
And do that.
And you cannot, let's say, go natural.
But once you do many laps.
Then it comes automatically.
It's a lot of impressions.
Like at the first...
I mean, yesterday there's been a lot of impressions already.
But it's been...
We do it for the fun.
It's a good challenge to see how it is.
Thanks for coming over.
It's really cool to have you here.
Today feels definitely more comfortable.
As I'm kind of used to it now.
I feel like I could just go and race.
Basically, this bike and that bike is just the same.
But you will feel there is a little bit more power.
A little bit more power.
In this engine, you can go higher.
So if you stay on the same gear for longer.
You will feel it going, going, going.
That sounds like some fun.
It's insane.
It's so good.
To me, this is so much more fun.
You need to go really high.
It's so crazy.
Even in the helmet, it sounds so good.
And also, the position is a bit more racing.
A bit more racing.
You properly feel like you're racing.
It's crazy.
To the left.
As you can see, I have no hands.
The best is, you use a little bit your legs.
Like this.
And shift.
Now you go to the left.
That's it.
Now you take some rest.
I will do a setup.
Two laps here.
Just to feel that the bike is good.
Then we're ready, you think?
Then it's going to be ready.
This is a proper chaser dream.
That's going to be insane.
You have a video.
You need to see before jumping on the bike.
I'm excited.
Hey Fabio.
Cool story, that you're going to be on the fastest bike in the world.
Greetings from America.
We're in the session.
That's why I can't be with you.
I would like to be on your side.
But you have a great coach with Daniel.
The things you deliver are really impressive.
That's why I'm proud and happy that you're on our bike today.
I wish you a lot of fun.
I think Daniel gives you better tips than me.
I do it relatively general.
Keep the rubber side down.
That's sick.
That's amazing.
That's really cool.
I actually need to send him one after.
Did you feel the difference?
Yes, I did.
Holy ----.
That was probably one of the craziest things I've done.
The power is insane.
I don't even know what to say.
This was insane.
Was it good?
So good.
I'm pretty satisfied so far.
Let's see how I do in the next round.
So good.
Riding so well.
Riding very well.
I enjoyed it very much.
When I followed you, I was like, yeah.
Nothing that I can say now.
So super.
Thank you.
When you get used to it, it's so good.
Then you get a bit more comfortable.
You know the corners.
At the end it was fast.
Yeah, it was good.
This is great.
Okay, guys.
We completed the challenge of riding a MotoGP bike.
It's been absolutely crazy.
Thank you so much, Rebel KTM,
for making this possible.
It's been an absolute dream.
It was just pure fun.
I hope you guys enjoyed the video.
See you at the next challenge.
