Assalamu alaikum and welcome to Germany for student channel.
Today is lesson number 31 of German language course B1 level.
And in lesson number 31, we will see the sentence structure in German language.
Although we have already done some lessons on sentence structure in German language in A2 and B1.
Today we will see the sentence structure of German language in a completely different way.
So let's start the lesson.
Any sentence is made up of different components.
And the elements of that sentence are called in German language as Satzglieder.
Its plural will be Satzglieder.
Elements of sentence.
So any sentence is made up of more than two sentence elements.
And the elements of this sentence can be moved from one position to another position.
And the elements of the sentence can be moved from one position to another position.
So the meaning of the sentence does not change.
In this, the verb will always be on the second position.
But the other elements of the sentence can be changed to different positions.
So let's see the elements of the sentence.
First of all, what are the elements of the sentence?
Now I have a sentence.
Er liest.
He reads.
This is a complete sentence.
We can call it a sentence.
Because in this, the subject is on the first position.
And the verb is on the second position.
Which verb we have conjugated according to the subject Er.
So it has become a lesson.
Er liest.
He reads.
Now in this sentence, some further sentence elements or more Satzglieder are added.
In the same sentence, if we add another Satzglied.
Er liest ein Buch.
He reads a book.
In this sentence, we have three Satzglieder.
The first Satzglied is Er.
Which means that boy.
Ein Buch is an object.
In the same sentence, if we add another Satzglied.
Er liest heute ein Buch.
He reads a book today.
In this sentence, we have four Satzglieder.
Er liest heute ein Buch.
These are four sentence elements which we call Satzglieder in German.
In the same sentence, we add another Satzglied.
Im Park.
In the park.
Er liest heute im Park ein Buch.
He reads a book in the park.
Now this sentence also looks like a simple sentence.
We have already read such sentences.
What is the meaning of the sentence structure?
What do we want to learn?
We want to learn how to change the position of the different Satzglied or sentence elements.
While the verb will remain on the second position.
And we will see what do we call these different Satzglieder?
And what is their significance?
Er is a subject of sentence.
Subject means the person who is performing the action in the sentence.
He will be the subject of the sentence.
Lesen is a verb.
We can also call it a verb in German.
Or predicate.
We call the Satzglied heute temporal or sight.
It is a word which tells about time.
Like today, now, tomorrow, five o'clock etc.
Then we also had a Satzglied of im Park.
We call im Park lokhal angabe or orts angabe.
Which tells us about the location.
It tells us about the place.
That where something is happening.
Ein Buch was also in the sentence.
Ein Buch is used here as an accusative object.
Because the book is being read.
Or the subject is performing an action on the book.
What action is he performing?
He is reading the book.
Now we extend this topic a little further.
For example,
Der lege erklärt Morgan im Klassenzimmer die Grammatik.
So here every Satzglied or the element of the sentence.
I have written it with different color.
So that we know where the sentence element or the Satzglied starts.
And where it ends.
It is also possible that one Satzglied is on one word.
And it is also possible that one Satzglied is on more than one word.
Now the meaning of this sentence is.
Ustaz explains grammar in the classroom in the morning.
If we see the Satzglieder of this sentence one by one.
Der lege is the subject of the sentence.
Erklärt is the conjugation of Erklägen.
Morgan is the sight.
He is telling the time.
Im Klassenzimmer is the location.
And die Grammatik is the accusative object.
Because the teacher is explaining the grammar.
Now we shuffle these different sentence elements on different positions.
And see how we can change the positions of the Satzglieder.
I can write this sentence.
Morgan Erklärt der lege im Klassenzimmer die Grammatik.
Ustaz explains grammar in the classroom in the morning.
So the meaning of this sentence is the same.
We can change the position of the sentence elements.
The verb will always be in the second position in a simple sentence.
But we can change the position of the other sentence elements.
We can also say this sentence in this way.
Im Klassenzimmer Erklärt der lege Morgan die Grammatik.
Ustaz explains grammar in the classroom in the morning.
Der lege is in the first position in the first sentence.
If we have changed the position of it.
It is in the third position.
It does not mean that the article with it will also change.
In fact, the article with it will remain the same.
Which we have used in a simple sentence.
In the same way, we can write this sentence in this way.
Die Grammatik Erklärt der lege Morgan im Klassenzimmer
It also means the same.
But here you can see how we can write a sentence.
We can bring variation in the sentence.
And how the subject can not always remain in the first position.
We can also keep the other sentence elements in the first position.
Let's see the next example.
Der erfahrene lege Erklärt Morgan im Helen Klassenzimmer die schwere Grammatik
In this sentence, we have added some adjectives.
With every sentence element.
Der lege has been changed.
Der erfahrene lege
An experienced teacher.
Erklärt is in the second position.
Morgan im Helen Klassenzimmer
Im Klassenzimmer im Helen Klassenzimmer
Im is a short form of indem.
And hel is an adjective.
When we use it in the dative case.
Then we have to use its ending.
That's why we have used Helen Klassenzimmer here.
Die schwere Grammatik
Now we have a simple sentence.
When we change the position of the different sentence elements.
Then we have different options.
For example, if we keep Morgan in the first position.
Then this sentence will be.
Morgan erklärt der erfahrene lege im Helen Klassenzimmer die schwere Grammatik
The meaning of the second sentence is the same as that of the first sentence.
But the thing to see here is that.
If we change the position of one sentence element.
Then the whole sentence element will shift.
Der erfahrene lege
Will go from first position to third position.
And Morgan will come to the first position.
Im Helen Klassenzimmer
We have not changed in this sentence.
Die schwere Grammatik is also the same.
Now let's see how else we can change this sentence.
Im Helen Klassenzimmer erklärt der erfahrene lege Morgan die schwere Grammatik
In a Russian class, an experienced teacher explains difficult grammar in the morning.
So in these three sentences, we are saying the same thing.
But we are looking at the variations in the sentence.
How can we write a sentence in different ways?
And if we write in different ways.
Then the whole thing will go from one position to the other.
But the second position of the verb will be maintained.
Let's see the next example.
Paul kaufte gestern im Supermarkt frische Gemüse.
Paul bought fresh vegetables in the market yesterday.
Now in this sentence also, Paul is a zarzglied.
Kaufte is a second zarzglied.
Gestern is a third zarzglied.
Im Supermarkt is a fourth zarzglied.
Frische Gemüse is a fifth zarzglied.
Now if we change the positions of different zarzglieder.
Then we can write this sentence in this way.
Gestern kaufte Paul im Supermarkt frische Gemüse.
Paul bought fresh vegetables in the market yesterday.
In this sentence, we have changed the position of Paul and Gestern.
Subject is on the third position.
And we have brought the site on the first position.
But the meaning of the sentence has remained the same.
In the same way, we can bring further variation.
Im Supermarkt kaufte Paul gestern frische Gemüse.
Paul bought fresh vegetables in the supermarket yesterday.
We can also write it in this way.
Frische Gemüse kaufte Paul gestern im Supermarkt.
Paul bought fresh vegetables in the supermarket yesterday.
So this was today's lesson.
On the basis of this lesson, our next lesson will be lesson number 32.
So today's concept was a basic.
In the next lesson, we will continue this topic.
Now let's come to today's homework.
Homework is
Lena trinkt abends im Wohnzimmer einen warmen Thee.
Lena in the evening drinks hot tea in the living room.
In this sentence, you have to identify the Czarsk leader.
How many Czarsk leaders are there?
And you have to change the positions of different Czarsk leaders and practice.
How can we write sentences in a different way?
The second example is
Tom macht jeden Abend zu Hause seine Hausaufgaben.
Tom does his homework at home every evening.
In this too, you have to identify the elements of the different sentences.
You have to change their positions.
And you have to see how many different sentences you can make.
By changing the position of the Czarsk leader.
I hope from today's lesson, you have been helped to make the German language sentence in a different way.
In the next lesson, we will continue this topic.
See you again in the next lesson.
