Hello friends and fellow working mom warriors! Today I'm sharing my 5am-9am working mom morning routine before I start my 9-5 job. I try to get up between 5 and 5:30 at least 3 times a week so that I can drink my cold brew and read my Kindle before my kids get up. Also, now that my son starts school very early, I have switched up my routine so that I work out after I drop the kids off and before I start work - this has been so great! I know it's tough to get up early but I've never once regretted that extra ME time and it makes a huge difference not having to rush around. Hope you enjoy! #productivity#routine

Hi guys. Welcome back to my channel today.
I'm sharing my 5am to 9am working mom routine before my
nine to five job starts. So I woke up today around 515.
And the first thing that I do is make my bed as the saying goes,
messy bed, messy head. And I completely agree with that.
I personally feel like when my bed is unmade,
it just looks disheveled and that makes my brain disheveled.
I even encourage my kids to make their beds.
It's just a good habit to have. So after my bed's made,
I'm going to brush my teeth and then I'm going to get into my workout clothes.
By this point it is about five 30 and I'm going to make my cold brew.
This is my favorite part of the morning.
I use Dunkin Donuts hazelnut coffee and I make my cold brew in my
cold brew maker overnight.
I add in a couple of pumps of sugar-free Irish cream syrup,
a dash of heavy whipping cream, and it is just the most delicious thing.
I look forward to it every single day.
Then I'm going to go and get cozy on the couch and read my Kindle for about 30
to 40 minutes.
I really love taking the time in the morning before my kids get up to do
something for myself. It really just puts me in a good mood.
It feels good that I'm carving out time to do something that I love and it
really helps me set the day up for success.
At about 610 I will go upstairs and get my kids up for the day,
help get them dressed, teeth brushed, beds made, and all of that.
Then we will come downstairs and around 625 I will make the kids breakfast.
We have pretty much the same thing every single day.
They love just waffles with fruit and they never get bored of it.
It's super easy for me to make. So that's what we kind of stick to.
Now that the kids' lunches are all packed up, we are ready to leave.
It's about 655 and Chase's late bell is at 715.
So we have to leave a bit early and I drop Chase off at the elementary and then
I head over to Quinn's daycare and that whole trip takes me about 25 minutes.
And then once I get back,
it is about 715 and I am going to do a 20 minute workout.
I've really liked this new schedule.
Getting my workout in after the kids are gone and off to school.
But before I start work has been such a game changer for me.
I've had so much more energy and I feel like my workouts have been a lot better
because I'm actually awake.
I've had my coffee and I'm not just rolling out of bed and feeling groggy and
unmotivated like I previously had been doing.
It's around 745 and I'm going to take a quick body shower.
I've recently started using this Japanese exfoliating shower towel by the
brand SEMA.
They just came out with this pink towel and I am so girly. I love it so much.
If you have been using a loofah like I was,
you need to throw that thing in the trash because it is full of bacteria.
Another feature of the exfoliating towel that really stands out is the length.
It is so long and perfect for getting those hard to reach places like your back.
It also lasts 20 times longer than a typical loofah.
It's really quick drying. It's gentle. And if you have sensitive skin,
it's not going to irritate you. It's also super cost effective.
You can get three towels for just 1590 each.
I've been using it with the charcoal body wash that deep cleans and eliminates
dirt, oil, and sweat, which I love.
Then I follow it up with body lotion,
which nourishes and revitalizes sensitive skin.
It also has the power of hyaluronic acid and salicylic acid.
So if you have any, you know, skin problems or acne, it's going to be perfect.
It also smells amazing. After using the exfoliating towel,
the body wash and the body lotion, I just feel so refreshed.
My skin is super soft and I absolutely love it. I'm like a new woman.
I will leave all the details in the description box below.

Next up is something new that I've added into my morning skincare routine.
It is Gua Sha. If you've never heard of it before,
it's an ancient Chinese massage technique that you use this smooth edge tool and
you kind of just scrape your skin.
There's so many benefits including improved circulation.
It reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
It helps reduce inflammation and kind of puffiness and it promotes lymphatic
drainage. I've really been enjoying it. Not only does it feel really relaxing,
but I also feel like my skin is better overall.
It's less puffy and it just feels more lifted and defined and just less puffy
overall. And I definitely think that with the added oil,
my skin just feels a lot more hydrated because I've added that extra step in.
So after I'm done doing my little two minute Gua Sha routine,
I am going to put some makeup on. I typically wear makeup every single day.
I'm on a lot of zoom calls,
so I just want to look and feel presentable and putting on makeup just gives me
a little bit of a confidence boost and kind of just sets the tone for the day
that it is now time to go to work.
Now it is around 8 15 and I am dressed and ready for the day.
So I will log on to work and that pretty much concludes my morning routine
before I start my nine to five job.
I hope you guys enjoyed this video and got some tips to help your mornings go
more smoothly and more productively.
It's amazing how much I can get done just by waking up earlier,
setting aside time for myself to read and work out and do things that bring me
joy before I have to tend to my other responsibilities as a mom and working has
been so good for my mental health and has also set me up for success and for a
good day. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. If you did,
please give it a thumbs up.
