Adonis Creed and Robert Balboa mourns the lost of the legendary boxer Rocky Balboa. Robert gets inspired to make a name for himself by fighting Adonis. The champ is faced with a challenge whether to accept Robert's request to fight him for the title.
A-Rock,
You were more than a coach, more than a legend.
You're like a father to me, and I had no one. You believed in me.
You taught me how to fight, how to get back up when life knocks you down.
I wouldn't be the man I am today without you. I miss you every day, old man.
Hey Adonis, I want to fight you for the title.
So he really went up to you and challenged you to fight, just like that?
I can tell he was really serious, that he really feels confident he can beat me for the title.
What did you tell him?
I told him I can't.
Rocky means a lot to me, and fighting his son doesn't feel right, especially since he's just new to the sport.
I know I can beat you. Your dad let Rocky fight him. Champ versus underdog, please give me that same opportunity. I need this man.
You want the title match?
You got it.
The most anticipated fight is finally here.
You're really gonna fight Rocky's son?
I have to. I have to give him a chance, just like my father to Rocky.
Wearing that name makes you a fighter?
No, my fists do.
This isn't just another fight, it's family.
