Disney Destiny Stateroom Tours - Verandah, Oceanview, & Inside Staterooms - Disney Cruise Line

Hi, this is Josh with Resort TV1 and today I'm on the Disney Destiny and I'm going to give you a tour of all of the various types of stateaterooms that you can enjoy here on the Disney Destiny. We've got this veranda room to start out with. This is my room, but I'm going to go tour some specially setup rooms just for these previews and open houses. So, let's go and let's start with the veranda state room. >> So, here is a look at a veranda state room. This is the daytime configuration. And again, Big Hero 6. >> And so you can see the configuration is different than the inside stateateroom where everything is kind of side by side here, but you still have the bed that turns down and sleeps three. Now, you can also request one with the bunk bed that pulls down. This one does not have that, but you can request that if you need extra space for your family. And you can see in this one that the TV is in front of the bed. And you've got your vanity mirror here and a nice little stool to get ready. So that's always nice. And then of course the star of the show, the veranda, which is always incredible. Your own private view of the sea. And you can see we have a beautiful day out here just in the distance there. You can barely see. I believe it's Grand Bahama out there just off of our off of our side there. And you can see the white caps out in the water. It is a little bit breezy out today. >> And of course, you can do adjoining rooms here if you'd like to do that. >> And then this configuration has the bathrooms separated. So you've you've still got basically one bathroom, but you've got two sinks, which is really really nice when people are getting ready. So, you've got a sink and shower in this room, >> and you've got the toilet and sink in this room. So, here's the brand estate room turned down for the evening. And here you can see the bed turned down with the uh awesome character laying there. That is so cool. And this one is Incredibles themed, which is really, really cool to see. Look at that artwork there. Isn't that nice? Incredibles themed and uh gorgeous artwork. >> And I love the uh the towel animals there. So fun. So you've got the bed turned down there for night and more incredibles artwork over here and of course the curtain is drawn, but there is the veranda just like in the other room. So everything is similar here, but the lights of course are turned down by the amazing mouseeping services here on the Disney Destiny. So, but you can see otherwise it is the same configuration as a standard veranda room. And uh it is cool to see the artwork though with the Incredibles as in my stateateroom. I actually have Big Hero 6. And of course, the bathrooms are the same configuration. You've got the shower and the sink in that one and the bathroom with the toilet in the other one. So, here's an another Veranda state room. I love the elephant in here. Isn't that nice? And then you've got Merida and Brave in this room, which is really awesome. And then you've also got it's turned down for a nighttime. So you've got the curtain there, which you can actually pull back for privacy, which is fun. And you've got the bunk bed down. And of course, the veranda out here. Obviously, you would have the curtains closed at night, but there it is. You can see there is the veranda just like in the other Veranda room. So that's awesome. go out to wide angle and again that awesome Hercules ceiling there which is so fun. So then you got your TV and this one is actually on. Welcome aboard. So there you go. So that's another veranda estateroom turned down for night but I wanted to show this one because the curtain was closed and just to show you what you can do for a little bit of extra privacy and how you can also sleep four people in this room. And of course the bathrooms are the same as all the other ones I've shown that are separated. Here's another veranda stateoom. And this one is Rya themed. So, just showing you several different versions of this. And obviously, you know, they're all variations on the same theme. This one does just have the couch, so it only sleeps three. Doesn't have the bunk bed up there, but you do have the beautiful veranda. So, there you go. So, that's just another look at a different themed veranda stateoom. And there, some awesome Rya artwork. Pretty awesome. Here's a couple more Randanda estate rooms here on the sixth deck. And uh let's take a look and see what we've got here. Oh wow, this one's Mulan. Beautiful artwork as in all the rooms. And this one's turned down for nighttime. Got the decorated towel sitting there. Actually, that's the uh that's the footer for the bed. And then you've got the bunk bed down. So, this one would sleep four. You've got the curtain pulled slightly for a little bit of privacy. And of course, behind that curtain is the veranda just like in the other rooms. And again, no other differences. Just wanted to show the different artwork. All of the bunk beds have this Hercules artwork up here, which is amazing. So, pretty awesome. Now, actually, this one doesn't go as far back in here, though. It's a little bit different configuration because it's got um it's actually the bed is right in front of the door. So there's no extra room. So the lockoff is a little bit in a different place. So this is the the adjoining room there. And actually this is our first look at an adjoining room and what that might look like. So here is another verand estate room. And this is this is the uh as I almost trip. This is the Hercules theme room. So I'm glad they let us see a variety of different rooms here. And hopefully that helps if you want to book one of these rooms. So that's again some amazing, very inspiring artwork there. And this room is made up for daytime. So you can see that the curtains are open and you can see the veranda and the ocean out there. Here's a little bit more Hercules artwork. And again, for nighttime, this would turn down into a bed. And uh this one does have the bunk bed. It's just up into the ceiling. So, there's a container ship out there. That's pretty awesome. And the beautiful veranda with the chairs and an awesome just private view. And of course, again, bathrooms are the same as with every veranda stateateroom. And here we have an ocean view stateateroom. So, no veranda, but you do have the ocean view, the portal. So let's go in and take a look and see what character theme we have here. So this one is Merida Brave. That is really again beautiful artwork and a very similar configuration as far as the layout to the veranda stateoom because you have your TV here and of course you have your door where you can do adjoining rooms if you choose to do that. Uh but instead of a veranda you have the portal here. But, you know, for a lot of people that is enough just to be able to see out and uh so that's another option to be a little more budget friendly sometimes than the veranda. And you can always go up on deck and see and feel the breeze. Well, you can see from here. You can feel the breeze up on deck. So, that is uh really nice. But again, all everything else kind of applies from the veranda stateoom. I showed this in my stateateroom, but some nice shelves and things there. You've also got, of course, this turns down into a bed. And then if you need the bunk bed, they pull that down for you. So, it does sleep four. You just have to make sure you ask for that because uh some of the rooms only sweet sleep three and do not have the uh bunk bed. So, look at the little bear family artwork there. That is really fun. And something else to point out is all the charging ports are USBC and so definitely make sure you have the right cables or at least you have your uh AC power adapter so you can use whatever type of cable you want. There also are some international plugs as well which is nice. Of course, all the rooms have this amazing Destiny bedspread here which is awesome. And the same idea with the bathroom being separated with the uh tub and shower and sink in one. And then in the other one, of course, you have the toilet and sink. So everything very familiar. And here is the same type of room turned down for the evening. It's really cool. Feel like a bear there. and Rya. How fun. So, this is a Rya theme room. And then, oh, you can actually see the bunk bed pulled down. So, that's really, really nice. And, uh, Housekeeping will do that for you if you need that fourth bed. But, uh, or the room for the fourth person, I should say. It's a third bed, but room for the fourth person. And then the couch is turned down as well, so you've got room for two more people there besides the queen bed. And of course then the same awesome view of the sea or sometimes uh whatever port you're in depending on where you're at. So and the artwork is really really nice as always. But yeah, it's not very high. That's the nice thing too. Not very high. So also max weight on this is 265. So that's good to know. But oh I didn't even see this. Oh wow. I have often dreamed of a faroff place. Oh, I love that. So, here is a look at the inside stateateroom. And this is Baymax theme, Big Hero 6. So, here we go. Really looks nice. >> So, this is a beautiful room. Lots of uh room in here. Even with it being an inside stateateroom, you could totally cruise like this and have a great time. And you've got pretty much all the amenities that you would have in a standard veranda room. And uh it just is a little bit more budget friendly, which is nice that they have these options for people. So the artwork is similar to the veranda stateoom that I showed you. And uh we've got closet here, place to hang up everything. And so you've got uh a safe in there. Of course, uh your life jackets, which is important. And then in here is the bathroom. A little bit different configuration though than the uh veranda stateateroom where they're actually separate. So there is only one sink in here, but uh it still works very nicely. And you've got your toilet and your shower, which is about the same size in the veranda state room I stayed in. So um yeah, so there's the bathroom. And uh then we're going to go next door and look at another room that's turned down for the evening. So, and also just like in the veranda stateateroom, this comes down for an extra bed, like a bunk bed, and then this folds over as a couch to sleep on. So, this is another inside stateateroom, but it's turned down for the night. Just so you can see uh what the bed looks like. All turned out, ready to go, ready to sleep on. Now, this one actually does not have the uh the bunk bed in the top. So, I believe there are different configurations, but uh I love that got Baymax there sitting on the bed. How fun. >> And the chocolates, of course, that's essential, but it looks nice. And again, it's the same kind of a room configuration as the one we just showed you, but it is uh turned down and ready to go for evening. And of course, the bathroom is the same, but uh looks nice. And uh this is great. Again, a budget friendly option. And uh you don't get any view, but honestly, sometimes you may not even have time to look out the window. And uh you can go up on deck and look out and just enjoy your view that way. And there's plenty of places to sit on deck as well. So I give you a wide angle view of it. And uh you can see what it looks like. Again, there's plenty of room in here. It's a great size. And this room would sleep three uh without the bunk bed. And here's a look at another inside stateateroom. And this one just has a different theme. And you can also see that the bunk bed is pulled down here as well. And the same message on the top there. I've often dreamed of a faroff place. And this one is brave themed Merida. So nice and the bear. So awesome. This room is great. And of course, again, the couch pulls down into a bed. And these rooms, the inside stateaterooms do have the combination bathroom with the uh toilet and the shower in one bathroom there and the sink. So, you only get one sink in these rooms, but again, it is a more budget friendly option. So, that is a look at another inside stateateroom. Here's another inside stateateroom on the six deck. This one is Hercules themed. And it does have the pull down bunk bed. Wow. I love the uh footer being made into an animal there. That's fun. Guess in the comments what animal it is. So, yeah. Love the Hercules artwork as in the other rooms that I showed. And everything else is the same with the bathroom over here. And again, the inside stateaterooms have the combo bathroom. So, but plenty of room. Just one less sink and one less uh private space for people to get ready in. So, there you go.
