Found Rare Amethyst Crystal While Digging at a Private Mine! (Unbelievable Find)

Oh my god! Oh my goodness dude! I found it! What's up guys, Jake here. Today I traveled all the way up to North Georgia to go amethyst crystal hunting. I've done this in the past and found some great crystals, and you guys left so much nice support on that video. I think we broke over a hundred thousand likes, which is absolutely insane. So I decided to make the drive back up to the mine to see if I could find some more crystals. If you guys didn't see that video, you don't really know what I'm talking about. We're searching for amethyst crystals, and these are like deep dark purple, and some can be super rare and even very expensive if you want to sell them. So the goal today is just to dig as much as possible and see if we get lucky and find some of those nice crystals. But today is actually a special occasion because this private mine is actually only open on certain occasions, and today is one of those. But here in the future, in the next coming weeks, it's actually going to be closed for the season, and no one will have access unless you wanted to rent out the entire park, which is really expensive. But if you guys want to see that, I'll make a deal with you guys. If we can break over 100,000 likes on this video, I'll rent out this entire place for my friends and I to come out and dig to see if we can find some more amethyst crystals. So drop a thumbs up if you guys want to see that. But with that said, we're going to start digging and hopefully get lucky. All right, so I met up with my buddies Chris and Kyle. They're out here digging for crystals as well. If you haven't seen their videos, they do a lot of fossil hunting. But Chris actually kind of got me into all this, and last time we did this for the first time, we dug over there and found some unbelievable crystals, and hopefully today we get lucky as well. We're at a new location, but we're all teaming up, and we're bouncing from spot to spot, and hopefully, you know, every one of us gets a good crystal today. If you all find something, let me know. All right, so before we start digging, I actually invested in something new. Last time when we found crystals, to clean them off, I used a spray bottle. But throughout the day, your hands get really blistery, and then it just becomes hard, and the clay gets in the spray bottle. So I invested in a chemical spray here. All you got to do is pump it a couple times, click the button, and it's like an automatic sprayer. So hopefully, we get lucky enough to find some crystals, and I'll be able to spray them off. But today, we're not using any chemicals. It's just water. So let's get started, man. Let's see if we can find some. All right, guys, so we're at our first location right now. I'm going to use this tool to start digging to the cliffside. I'm going to start making this, like, wall, and once I have the wall built, I'm going to grab a different tool and start scraping for those amethyst crystals. But who knows, man? I might be able to find one with this right now. All right, so I spent some time. I made the wall right here. And now what I'm going to do is use these tools to start shaving into the wall. And what we're looking for is that deep dark purple, and that means we found a nice amethyst crystal. But hopefully, we get lucky. If we don't get lucky at this location, we'll move on to a new location, start another wall, and get at it again. So let's put in some time, though, right here. I think now it's just a luck game. I also have my girlfriend, Kendall, over here joining me on her first amethyst crystal hunting adventure. She doesn't really know what to expect, but I told her the one thing you can expect is, like, really hot weather and you're going to be sweating. So hopefully, we get lucky and she can find her first crystal as well. I feel like I'm going to, like, miss. You'll miss some. A lot. Just keep looking. Because I really have no clue what I'm looking for. He said look for black. Like dark purple. Just find the diamond. Right. All right, so we've been digging for, like, 15 minutes. And I'll be honest with you guys, the weather here is so hot. But we have the only place where there's shade for now. Once the sun gets a little bit higher, it'll be all sunny everywhere here at this mine. But we're trying our best, man. Trying to get our first one of the day. You got something? Is that anything? That's a rock. Is it really? Well, you win some and you lose some. Dude, honestly, what's crazy is, like, you can really find something super expensive and rare here. And that's what kind of makes it fun. I mean, obviously, the hunt is a blast. But you could find something that could change your life. And that's pretty awesome. That's a rock, Jake. Yeah, I know. He's, like, bummed. Me? I'm bummed, man. There ain't nothing here. I got, like, a little rake. I'm going to move all the fresh dirt away behind me so I can start fresh. And also, you pass up good crystal sometimes. So I just got to keep my eyes out. Jake, you got the infinity stone bag? Yeah. I just saw that. I'm searching for them. Yeah, I got the infinity stone bag. Hopefully, we get lucky and find them all. And now we're going to continue chipping away at the cliff here. Nothing. That girl over there, she's, like, I found something. The guy over there, he's, like, that's a leverite. And he's, like, is it expensive? And he's, like, no, you leave it right there. All right, guys, so I've dug here for, like, 20 minutes. I might be impatient, but I haven't found nothing, not even a clue. So what I'm going to do is jump to a new location. This place is so big that you could be digging in the wrong spots. And I'm just going to try to maximize my potential by hopping from spot to spot until I find my first amethyst crystal. And that might be a good sign to continue digging for the rest of the day. So we didn't get lucky at this location, but we're off to the next one. It's going to be worth setting up. All right, so I was just talking to Chris. Chris is, like, I would say he's more the expert than me. I'm just winging things. So I'm following along with his advice. He's going to try to hop to a new location. He was looking at this dirt. It's a little darker. And I haven't had any signs. And he's, like, I want that lighter colored dirt. So we're going to move to a new spot. I think over here on the left is where we're going to head out. And if we find a good spot, we're just going to set up the canopy and start digging there. All right, guys, if you've never been to the Jackson Crossroads mine before, this is what it looks like here. You've got a big pond in the middle. And this is actually a spot where the big machines scrape up all the big amethysts and they dump it on the sides. Like I said, today is opening day, I guess, for everyone to come out here and have a good time. You know, usually it's just made for commercial use only. But along the banks is where they dump all their stuff. And if you look around, there's just hundreds of people out here, man. It is a ton of fun. Everyone's out here with their family and friends and just enjoying it, man. Hopefully I get lucky and find my first amethyst today. I'm really excited to start digging again. Hi-ho, hi-ho. You guys ever watch that movie, Holes? Where they're, like, digging for some treasure or something? I feel like that's what we're doing. Yeah, this really looks like holes right here. It is holes. I'm going to find a treasure. I see what you all are doing. You all are making me dig. Use all my energy. You're getting through that hard layer for us and then we're going to get in there where it's hot. I hope I can help. We've got to deal with it. It's so hot out here. Yeah, you can. We can go there when it's, like, 40 degrees out. Oh, I thought, I swear he said that. Everyone already found their treasure. Yeah. All right, guys. So I've been digging for, I would say, a good 45 minutes. And as I was losing hope, I came across my first amethyst crystal. And it's covered in mud. But, oh, I'm sliding down the hill. But I'm going to spray it off and see how beautiful it is. Or not so beautiful. Oh, I'm sliding back down. All right, here we go. Oh, my goodness, dude. Look at that. That is beautiful, dude. That's a dark purple, too. So the darker the purple, the better. And that is gorgeous, man. Shoot. That right there is worth it for me. If you guys are curious, this right here probably cost, I would say, $25,000. I'm just kidding. But, yeah, dude, that's my first one of the day. Like, that's pretty cool. It's beautiful. We found an all right spot. At least we know there's one here. So I'm going to spend a lot more time digging here. And just hopefully find something maybe like five times bigger. But regardless, man, that right there is absolutely beautiful. I think it's called fully terminated when it has a point. And that means, like, it's, I guess, in perfect condition. So, yeah, I mean, that would be a perfect rain, dude. Look how big that would be. So Jake just found his first amethyst crystal. And this thing is actually killer. It's in great shape. It's got a nice point on top. It has a nice color. And it's also very clear. So we call that jimmy. Nice good jimmy material. Almost facet grade, I would say. So you could actually potentially make jewelry out of this little piece. All right. Benning stone number one. Let's keep going. All right, guys. So I've been digging for another 20 minutes or so. And I was actually cleaning out this spot for Kendall, getting all the gravel out of the way. And I got one. I told her it's hers. But she's like, nope, you found it, Jake. So I'll go ahead and grab it and spray it off so you all can see it. But it's the second one of the day right here. You can see it. It's a little bit of purple and shine. I don't know how good it is. It's probably not crazy good. Yeah, it's a little small one. There we go. So not that great. It's all chipped up and everything. But pretty cool, man. Find another crystal. So go ahead and add that to the bag. And hopefully find that really good one today. All right. So I was digging over there, found another crystal. And I got told this other guy over here on the left found something really incredible. We're going to go check it out for the first time. That is ridiculous. Whoa. Holy crap. That is beautiful. Look at this thing. I wish I could go in there. That'd be cool. It's a super, super rare. It's super dark purple and on the matrix, which means it's like on other crystals, on the rock. They're chipping away at this. But this is the best one I've seen so far today. But hopefully we get lucky and find something like that. But that is incredible, man. Good on y'all. That's pretty awesome. Good luck getting it out. No problem. All right. I found another one. But this one's super, super small. Let's go ahead and rinse it off there. Yeah. Not super rare, but got another crystal. So we know they're here, but hopefully we can find a really good one. That's pretty. Sweet. I'm taking a little break. We're walking around the mine to see if anyone found some good stuff. A few people found some good things here and there, but everyone's just out here having a good time. I think everything's slowing down a little bit though. The heat has just taken its toll on everyone. But pretty good day so far, man. I'm actually going to go over here and search the wood line to see if I get lucky with, I don't know, maybe something way back there. You never know. Okay. That was a dumb idea. There ain't nothing back there. We're going back to the mine. Oh my gosh. I'm about to pass out. It's so hot. Drake asked me if I wanted to walk around the edge of the mine with him. I said, sure. That sounds fun. No. No, it's too hot out here. All right, guys. So this is day two. We got Chris and Kyle back out here. Chris actually found the best crystal of the day. This thing was a megafist, man. This thing was just giant and super dark purple. It was like the best find definitely of the day. I think probably the best find overall. But going on today, what's your strategy, guys? Dig like crazy. All day. Seriously, move dirt. We're going to move a truckload of dirt. So y'all found that way over there. Are y'all going to go back over there? Probably. Yeah. If they find another one, we're going to get over there and see if we can find one as well over there and kind of mooch off their spot. But I'm going to start digging over here on the left and get it started, man. But good luck, guys. Let's do it. All right. So I dug my heart out yesterday. I've got blisters all over my hand. Changed gloves out. And I was even given a tip that this side right here might be a good spot to search. So my plan right now is to start digging this mound and hopefully I get lucky here. If not, we'll just jump around to another spot like I did yesterday. So let's give it a shot. All right, guys. So I spent like 20 minutes moving this giant rock out of the way. These kids came in and they looked underneath the rock and they found a crystal. And it looks like a pretty good one. Let me show you guys what it looks like. What's your name, buddy? Corbin. So Corbin found it. So this is what the crystal we found together. Definitely probably the biggest one I found today. You want to turn it around? But that's beautiful, dude. That's yours if you want to keep it. This is the rock I pulled out of the spot right over here. And underneath it, he found a crystal. And they can find these crystals in the rocks. And I'm going to give it a shot. See, look. It's separating off. Wait, wait, wait. I think we should take that off. There we go. It's coming off. OK. Yeah. No crystal? Nothing in there. It's all solid. Oh, that works. It's all solid rock. Oh my gosh. It's all solid. It keeps changing from the hard rock to the soft rock. I'm trying everything. All right. So I'm taking a break right now from digging. I'm hanging out with Treasure here. And my hands right now are just full of blisters. And I'm just hanging in there, man. But this right here is what life's all about, dude. But yeah, man. This is pretty cool bringing Treasure out here. And I think she's having a good time too. But the thought I had was that it was going to be really big. And that's definitely wrong. But it's super small. Check it out. I mean, it's better than nothing. It's better than nothing. I found it. I was, I just, I'll be honest with you guys. When I found that big rock and I was working on it, I was wore out when I got it out of the way. And I kind of settled with that little crystal, but I got one more hit right after and I got the biggest crystal of the day so far for me. Check it out, dude. Let me get the spray. This is the best one of the day for me so far. For the whole trip. That's the best one of the day. Oh my goodness, dude. That is beautiful. I mean, it's not the darkest purple that you'll see out here, but that right there made my day, man. This thing is absolutely killer. It's a nice big. Actually, the termination is in great, great shape right here. And you got three little points all off to the side. So I'll have to clean out that clay in a little bit. But that thing is killer.
