All right, run me through how do you
make a latte? Yeah. So, first we're
going to start off with our grinder and
freshly grind the espresso beans into
this PA filter. [snorts]
>> Yeah. So, these grinds are super super
fresh. These beans were roasted about
this week, actually. Wow.
>> So, I'm going to go ahead and we're
going to pack it down. Try to do it as
straight as we can. And we're just going
to hit the sides so those excess grounds
kind of those broken ones get packed in
there nice and good. Might sometimes do
it one more time. [music]
>> Can I give it a go?
>> Yeah. What kind of roast do you use?
>> So I use a medium roast. It's actually a
blend of six different countries in this
one espresso [music] blend.
>> So we do like this. Am I doing
correctly?
>> There we go. Okay. So now you have to
push down, right?
>> Push it down. Yep. Nice and hard.
>> Down
and then kind of hit the [music] sides
to break them. We want to make the tamp
as even as we can so when the hot water
slides through it, it doesn't slide at
an angle.
>> Awesome. So now bring it over here,
right?
>> Yes. So we're going to bring it over
[music] here to the espresso machine and
we're just going to hook it. Sometimes
it takes a little strength. [laughter]
So now it's [music] in and I'm going to
get my coffee cup right over here. Good.
So we want the [music] espresso to be
super fresh. So we're also going to
steam the milk at the same time.
>> Yeah. So it [music] just is nice and
fresh. We want it to If the espresso
sits too long without touching, it's
sometimes This is actually considered a
myth to some people that it's supposed
to taste like [music] burnt popcorn if
you leave it too long without touching
something.
>> So, we're just going to go ahead and
make sure that this is even.
Kind of bubble it up at the top and then
dunk it down. You'll see that there's a
little bit of a whirlpool motion going.
>> It's so pretty. You can press that
button.
There we go. So, what is the difference
between a cappuccino and [music] a
latte? Cappuccinos are a lot fluffier.
It has almost all foam. The lattes are
creamier, heavier. A lot more milk. More
milk.
>> Yeah. So, we've got our espresso right
here. You'll notice it has a little
layer on the top, kind of like honey.
>> So, we're just going to go ahead and
just pour the milk in. I'm going to
attempt to make a [music] little bear,
but we can try to do like a heart first,
just for fun. That looks pretty.
>> Making do like a little circle right
here. Oh, maybe just a little ear.
Another ear.
>> A little baby.
>> Right.
>> So, what is this stuff that we're
putting in it? That is chocolate. I'm
going to make his eyes bigger if that's
okay with you.
>> Go for it.
>> Oh, he's so cute. [laughter]
We did such a good job. Oh my goodness.
I'm really going to be hired.
>> Oh, totally. Look at that.
>> Awesome. [laughter]
